| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: riscv: mm: add missing memcpy in kasan_init Hi Atish, It seems that the panic is due to the missing memcpy during kasan_init. Could you please check whether this patch is helpful? When doing kasan_populate, the new allocated base_pud/base_p4d should contain kasan_early_shadow_{pud, p4d}'s content. Add the missing memcpy to avoid page fault when read/write kasan shadow region. Tested on: - qemu with sv57 and CONFIG_KASAN on. - qemu with sv48 and CONFIG_KASAN on. | ||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: ath11k: fix monitor mode bringup crash When the interface is brought up in monitor mode, it leads to NULL pointer dereference crash. This crash happens when the packet type is extracted for a SKB. This extraction which is present in the received msdu delivery path,is not needed for the monitor ring packets since they are all RAW packets. Hence appending the flags with "RX_FLAG_ONLY_MONITOR" to skip that extraction. | CVE-2022-50625 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 7.0 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: serial: amba-pl011: avoid SBSA UART accessing DMACR register Chapter "B Generic UART" in "ARM Server Base System Architecture" [1] documentation describes a generic UART interface. Such generic UART does not support DMA. In current code, sbsa_uart_pops and amba_pl011_pops share the same stop_rx operation, which will invoke pl011_dma_rx_stop, leading to an access of the DMACR register. This commit adds a using_rx_dma check in pl011_dma_rx_stop to avoid the access to DMACR register for SBSA UARTs which does not support DMA. When the kernel enables DMA engine with "CONFIG_DMA_ENGINE=y", Linux SBSA PL011 driver will access PL011 DMACR register in some functions. For most real SBSA Pl011 hardware implementations, the DMACR write behaviour will be ignored. So these DMACR operations will not cause obvious problems. But for some virtual SBSA PL011 hardware, like Xen virtual SBSA PL011 (vpl011) device, the behaviour might be different. Xen vpl011 emulation will inject a data abort to guest, when guest is accessing an unimplemented UART register. As Xen VPL011 is SBSA compatible, it will not implement DMACR register. So when Linux SBSA PL011 driver access DMACR register, it will get an unhandled data abort fault and the application will get a segmentation fault: Unhandled fault at 0xffffffc00944d048 Mem abort info: ESR = 0x96000000 EC = 0x25: DABT (current EL), IL = 32 bits SET = 0, FnV = 0 EA = 0, S1PTW = 0 FSC = 0x00: ttbr address size fault Data abort info: ISV = 0, ISS = 0x00000000 CM = 0, WnR = 0 swapper pgtable: 4k pages, 39-bit VAs, pgdp=0000000020e2e000 [ffffffc00944d048] pgd=100000003ffff803, p4d=100000003ffff803, pud=100000003ffff803, pmd=100000003fffa803, pte=006800009c090f13 Internal error: ttbr address size fault: 96000000 [#1] PREEMPT SMP ... | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mmc: toshsd: fix return value check of mmc_add_host() mmc_add_host() may return error, if we ignore its return value, the memory that allocated in mmc_alloc_host() will be leaked and it will lead a kernel crash because of deleting not added device in the remove path. So fix this by checking the return value and goto error path which will call mmc_free_host(), besides, free_irq() also needs be called. | ||||
| CVE-2023-54320 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: platform/x86/amd: pmc: Fix memory leak in amd_pmc_stb_debugfs_open_v2() Function amd_pmc_stb_debugfs_open_v2() may be called when the STB debug mechanism enabled. When amd_pmc_send_cmd() fails, the 'buf' needs to be released. | ||||
| CVE-2023-54169 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 7.0 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/mlx5e: fix memory leak in mlx5e_ptp_open When kvzalloc_node or kvzalloc failed in mlx5e_ptp_open, the memory pointed by "c" or "cparams" is not freed, which can lead to a memory leak. Fix by freeing the array in the error path. | ||||
| CVE-2023-54231 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: libwx: fix memory leak in wx_setup_rx_resources When wx_alloc_page_pool() failed in wx_setup_rx_resources(), it doesn't release DMA buffer. Add dma_free_coherent() in the error path to release the DMA buffer. | ||||
| CVE-2023-54319 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: pinctrl: at91-pio4: check return value of devm_kasprintf() devm_kasprintf() returns a pointer to dynamically allocated memory. Pointer could be NULL in case allocation fails. Check pointer validity. Identified with coccinelle (kmerr.cocci script). Depends-on: 1c4e5c470a56 ("pinctrl: at91: use devm_kasprintf() to avoid potential leaks") Depends-on: 5a8f9cf269e8 ("pinctrl: at91-pio4: use proper format specifier for unsigned int") | ||||
| CVE-2018-25117 | 2 Linux, Vestacp | 2 Linux, Control Panel | 2026-04-15 | N/A |
| VestaCP commit a3f0fa1 (2018-05-31) up to commit ee03eff (2018-06-13) contain embedded malicious code that resulted in a supply-chain compromise. New installations created from the compromised installer since at least May 2018 were subject to installation of Linux/ChachaDDoS, a multi-stage DDoS bot that uses Lua for second- and third-stage components. The compromise leaked administrative credentials (base64-encoded admin password and server domain) to an external URL during installation and/or resulted in the installer dropping and executing a DDoS malware payload under local system privileges. Compromised servers were subsequently observed participating in large-scale DDoS activity. Vesta acknowledged exploitation in the wild in October 2018. | ||||
| CVE-2023-54178 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: of: unittest: fix null pointer dereferencing in of_unittest_find_node_by_name() when kmalloc() fail to allocate memory in kasprintf(), name or full_name will be NULL, strcmp() will cause null pointer dereference. | ||||
| CVE-2023-54179 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 7.0 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: qla2xxx: Array index may go out of bound Klocwork reports array 'vha->host_str' of size 16 may use index value(s) 16..19. Use snprintf() instead of sprintf(). | ||||
| CVE-2023-54275 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 7.0 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: ath11k: Fix memory leak in ath11k_peer_rx_frag_setup crypto_alloc_shash() allocates resources, which should be released by crypto_free_shash(). When ath11k_peer_find() fails, there has memory leak. Add missing crypto_free_shash() to fix this. | ||||
| CVE-2025-71197 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: w1: therm: Fix off-by-one buffer overflow in alarms_store The sysfs buffer passed to alarms_store() is allocated with 'size + 1' bytes and a NUL terminator is appended. However, the 'size' argument does not account for this extra byte. The original code then allocated 'size' bytes and used strcpy() to copy 'buf', which always writes one byte past the allocated buffer since strcpy() copies until the NUL terminator at index 'size'. Fix this by parsing the 'buf' parameter directly using simple_strtoll() without allocating any intermediate memory or string copying. This removes the overflow while simplifying the code. | ||||
