CVE-2022-50564 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: s390/netiucv: Fix return type of netiucv_tx() With clang's kernel control flow integrity (kCFI, CONFIG_CFI_CLANG), indirect call targets are validated against the expected function pointer prototype to make sure the call target is valid to help mitigate ROP attacks. If they are not identical, there is a failure at run time, which manifests as either a kernel panic or thread getting killed. A proposed warning in clang aims to catch these at compile time, which reveals: drivers/s390/net/netiucv.c:1854:21: error: incompatible function pointer types initializing 'netdev_tx_t (*)(struct sk_buff *, struct net_device *)' (aka 'enum netdev_tx (*)(struct sk_buff *, struct net_device *)') with an expression of type 'int (struct sk_buff *, struct net_device *)' [-Werror,-Wincompatible-function-pointer-types-strict] .ndo_start_xmit = netiucv_tx, ^~~~~~~~~~ ->ndo_start_xmit() in 'struct net_device_ops' expects a return type of 'netdev_tx_t', not 'int'. Adjust the return type of netiucv_tx() to match the prototype's to resolve the warning and potential CFI failure, should s390 select ARCH_SUPPORTS_CFI_CLANG in the future. Additionally, while in the area, remove a comment block that is no longer relevant.
CVE-2022-50888 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: remoteproc: qcom: q6v5: Fix potential null-ptr-deref in q6v5_wcss_init_mmio() q6v5_wcss_init_mmio() will call platform_get_resource_byname() that may fail and return NULL. devm_ioremap() will use res->start as input, which may causes null-ptr-deref. Check the ret value of platform_get_resource_byname() to avoid the null-ptr-deref.

When we hit an error we free it all up, however this also calls btrfs_discard_update_discardable, which requires block_group->free_space_ctl->tree_lock to be held. However this is our temporary ctl so this lock isn't held. Fix this by calling __btrfs_remove_free_space_cache_locked instead so that we only clean up the entries and do not mess with the discardable stats.

CVE-2022-50877 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: broadcom: bcm4908_enet: update TX stats after actual transmission Queueing packets doesn't guarantee their transmission. Update TX stats after hardware confirms consuming submitted data. This also fixes a possible race and NULL dereference. bcm4908_enet_start_xmit() could try to access skb after freeing it in the bcm4908_enet_poll_tx().

I originally looked for the same pattern elsewhere in our code, but mistakenly skipped over this code because I saw the page cache readahead before we set_page_extent_mapped, not realizing that this was only in the !page case, that we can still end up with a !uptodate page and then do the btrfs_read_folio further down. The fix here is the same as the above mentioned patch, move the set_page_extent_mapped call to after the btrfs_read_folio() block to make sure that we have the subpage blocksize stuff setup properly before using the page.

CVE-2022-50851 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vhost_vdpa: fix the crash in unmap a large memory While testing in vIOMMU, sometimes Guest will unmap very large memory, which will cause the crash. To fix this, add a new function vhost_vdpa_general_unmap(). This function will only unmap the memory that saved in iotlb. CVE-2022-50580 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: blk-throttle: prevent overflow while calculating wait time There is a problem found by code review in tg_with_in_bps_limit() that 'bps_limit * jiffy_elapsed_rnd' might overflow. Fix the problem by calling mul_u64_u64_div_u64() instead.
CVE-2022-50846 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mmc: via-sdmmc: fix return value check of mmc_add_host() mmc_add_host() may return error, if we ignore its return value, it will lead two issues: 1. The memory that allocated in mmc_alloc_host() is leaked. 2. In the remove() path, mmc_remove_host() will be called to delete device, but it's not added yet, it will lead a kernel crash because of null-ptr-deref in device_del(). Fix this by checking the return value and goto error path which will call mmc_free_host().
CVE-2022-50845 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ext4: fix inode leak in ext4_xattr_inode_create() on an error path There is issue as follows when do setxattr with inject fault: [localhost]# fsck.ext4 -fn /dev/sda e2fsck 1.46.6-rc1 (12-Sep-2022) Pass 1: Checking inodes, blocks, and sizes Pass 2: Checking directory structure Pass 3: Checking directory connectivity Pass 4: Checking reference counts Unattached zero-length inode 15. If 'ext4_mark_inode_dirty()' fails, dropping i_nlink of the inode is needed. Or will lead to inode leak.
CVE-2022-50617 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu/powerplay/psm: Fix memory leak in power state init Commit 902bc65de0b3 ("drm/amdgpu/powerplay/psm: return an error in power state init") made the power state init function return early in case of failure to get an entry from the powerplay table, but it missed to clean up the allocated memory for the current power state before returning.
CVE-2022-50618 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mmc: meson-gx: fix return value check of mmc_add_host() mmc_add_host() may return error, if we ignore its return value, it will lead two issues: 1. The memory that allocated in mmc_alloc_host() is leaked. 2. CVE-2022-50619 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdkfd: Fix memory leak in kfd_mem_dmamap_userptr() If the number of pages from the userptr BO differs from the SG BO then the allocated memory for the SG table doesn't get freed before returning -EINVAL, which may lead to a memory leak in some error paths. Fix this by checking the number of pages before allocating memory for the SG table.
