| CVE-2026-81560 | 1 Blackms | 1 Aistack | 2026-08-29 | 5.3 Medium |
| A vulnerability was identified in blackms aistack up to 1.6.1. Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality of the file src/web/server.ts of the component Static File Handler. Such manipulation of the argument req.url leads to path traversal. The attack can be executed remotely. The exploit is publicly available and might be used. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. | ||||
| CVE-2026-40526 | 1 Volmarg | 1 Personal Management System | 2026-08-29 | 6.5 Medium |
| Volmarg Personal Management System contains a path traversal vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers to read arbitrary files by supplying absolute filesystem paths to the GET /public/get-file/{path} endpoint. The path route parameter is passed directly to file_get_contents() without canonicalization against a permitted base directory, enabling attackers to retrieve sensitive files accessible to the PHP-FPM worker process without using directory traversal sequences. | ||||
| CVE-2026-75337 | 2026-08-28 | 9.8 Critical | ||
| The static resource interface /api/static/{deployKey}/ of Yu AI Code Mother v4.3 is vulnerable to path traversal. The user-controlled path is concatenated to the preview root directory without any normalization, allowing anonymous attackers to read files outside the preview root. | ||||
| CVE-2026-80104 | 2 Dbgpt, Eosphoros-ai | 2 Db-gpt, Db-gpt | 2026-08-28 | 9.8 Critical |
| DB-GPT builds the destination path for an uploaded skill from the multipart filename without constraining it to the upload directory. skill_upload in packages/dbgpt-app/src/dbgpt_app/openapi/api_v1/agentic_data_api.py takes file.filename as given and writes the request body to upload_dir / filename. A path composed with that operator discards the left operand when the right one is absolute and follows parent references otherwise, so a filename such as ../../../tmp/x or /tmp/x resolves outside the intended directory; nothing canonicalises the result, checks that it remains under the upload root, or prevents a .py suffix. The route's only dependency is get_user_from_headers in dbgpt_serve/utils/auth.py, which returns a request carrying the admin role whether or not a user_id header is supplied, so the endpoint is reachable without credentials. A remote attacker holding no account can therefore write attacker-controlled bytes to any path the server process can write, place a new Python module inside the application package or replace one the application already imports, and obtain code execution in the server process when that module is next imported. | ||||
| CVE-2026-32637 | 1 Velero-io | 1 Velero | 2026-08-28 | 6.8 Medium |
| Velero is an open source tool for backing up, restoring, and migrating Kubernetes cluster resources and persistent volumes. Prior to 1.18.1, an attacker who compromises the backup object-storage backend can upload a malicious backup tarball containing parent-directory paths that escape the extraction directory during restore and overwrite sensitive files in the Velero pod filesystem. This issue is fixed in version 1.18.1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-55557 | 1 That1drifter | 1 Browse-mcp | 2026-08-28 | N/A |
| browse-mcp is a Playwright-based headless-browser MCP server for MCP-capable agents. Prior to 0.8.2, browser_download writes a fetched response body to join(save_dir, filename) without validating the caller-controlled save_dir, while browser_save_state and browser_load_state honor a caller-controlled path unchanged. A malicious MCP client, or an autonomous agent steered by indirect prompt injection on a visited page, can choose an arbitrary save_dir or state path and a URL whose response body becomes attacker-controlled file contents, allowing writes to any path the process can reach, including ~/.bashrc, autostart entries, or cron files, and potentially leading to host code execution. The force_fetch fallback also uses a raw fetch() that bypasses the BROWSE_MCP_ALLOWED_ORIGINS origin fence. This issue is fixed in version 0.8.2. | ||||
| CVE-2026-54550 | 1 Izpack | 1 Izpack | 2026-08-28 | 7.4 High |
| IzPack is a widely used tool for packaging applications on the Java platform as cross-platform installers. In 5.2.6 and earlier, UnpackerBase.unpack() in izpack-installer/src/main/java/com/izforge/izpack/installer/unpacker/UnpackerBase.java obtains an attacker-controlled PackFile targetPath, passes it through IoHelper.translatePath(), which only converts separators, and constructs a File without normalizing parent-directory segments or enforcing destination containment. A malicious installer pack entry containing ../ sequences can therefore write outside the intended installation directory to startup folders, executable search paths, or other locations accessible with the victim's privileges when the victim runs the installer. | ||||
| CVE-2026-54687 | 1 Dangerblack | 1 N8n-node-sqlite3 | 2026-08-28 | N/A |
| n8n-nodes-sqlite3 is a node for operating a local SQLite database from n8n. Prior to 1.0.0, nodes/SqliteNode/v1/SqliteV1.node.ts exposes the db_path database file path as a node parameter that permits data expressions from upstream workflow input. A workflow author who maps untrusted input to db_path can allow a remote attacker to select which SQLite file the n8n process opens, enabling traversal outside the intended database location and potentially reading, creating, or overwriting files accessible to the process. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-54083 | 1 Wazuh | 1 Wazuh | 2026-08-28 | 8.1 High |
| Wazuh is an open-source security platform providing unified XDR and SIEM protection for endpoints and cloud workloads. The ip-customblock active response script contains a path traversal vulnerability that lets an attacker create or delete arbitrary files on the filesystem as root. The script builds a file path by concatenating the srcip field taken from alert JSON directly onto the fixed /ipblock/ base directory, without validating that the value is a well-formed IP address. Because the extraction routine returns the raw string unchecked, an attacker who can trigger alert-matching log events with a crafted srcip containing ../ sequences can escape the base directory. The block action opens the resulting path in append mode, creating an empty file at an arbitrary location, while the unblock action passes it to remove(), deleting an arbitrary file; since the active response daemon runs as root, this includes sensitive files such as system credentials and Wazuh configuration. Unlike the sibling scripts host-deny.c, default-firewall-drop.c, and firewalld-drop.c, which reject non-IP input via get_ip_version(), ip-customblock.c omits this validation. This issue is fixed in version 4.14.7. | ||||
| CVE-2026-36851 | 2026-08-28 | 7.5 High | ||
| Path traversal vulnerability in UnPoller 2.33.0 password field allows arbitrary file read and network exfiltration. | ||||
| CVE-2026-70626 | 1 Nltk | 1 Nltk | 2026-08-28 | 6.2 Medium |
| NLTK versions before 3.9.4 contain a symlink escape vulnerability in CorpusReader.open() that allows local attackers to read arbitrary files outside the corpus root. The vulnerability exists because path validation is lexical and does not account for symlink resolution, enabling attackers to place symlinks inside the corpus root to access files outside the intended boundary. | ||||
| CVE-2026-71514 | 1 Nltk | 1 Nltk | 2026-08-28 | 2.5 Low |
| NLTK 3.9.4 through 3.10.2 contains a path traversal vulnerability in CrubadanCorpusReader. _load_lang_ngrams joins the corpus root with crubadan_code, the column-0 value read from the corpus table.txt mapping file, and opens the result with the builtin open() rather than the pathsec-validated opener, so os.path.join discards the root when that value is absolute and the read escapes the corpus directory without the containment check nltk.pathsec applies when ENFORCE is set. An attacker who controls a corpus package can disclose file contents outside the corpus root through lang_freq, limited to paths ending in -3grams.txt whose contents parse as token count lines. | ||||
| CVE-2026-62385 | 1 Nltk | 1 Nltk | 2026-08-28 | 5.9 Medium |
| NLTK versions before 3.10.0 contain a path traversal vulnerability in FramenetCorpusReader and NKJPCorpusReader that allows attackers to parse XML files outside the corpus root by supplying unsafe selectors or poisoned index state. Attackers can exploit frame_by_name, doc, lu, and header methods with crafted parameters to read arbitrary XML files accessible to the application. | ||||
| CVE-2026-75328 | 2026-08-28 | 7.5 High | ||
| In DocSys-master V2.02.85, the downloadDocEx interface in src/com/DocSystem/controller/DocController.java has an arbitrary file read vulnerability: | ||||
| CVE-2026-19084 | 2026-08-28 | 7.5 High | ||
| The shared-files-pro WordPress plugin before 1.7.70 does not validate the file path supplied when creating a featured image, allowing unauthenticated attackers to read arbitrary files from the server and republish their contents at a public URL. | ||||
| CVE-2026-82112 | 1 Houtini-ai | 1 Houtini-lm | 2026-08-28 | 3.5 Low |
| A flaw has been found in houtini-ai houtini-lm up to 2.13.2. The impacted element is an unknown function of the file src/index.ts of the component code_task_files. Executing a manipulation can lead to path traversal. The attack can be launched remotely. This patch is called 35d97bca0531894da36a85aedb95312da1bd5b7a. It is best practice to apply a patch to resolve this issue. | ||||
| CVE-2026-8643 | 1 Pypa | 1 Pip | 2026-08-28 | 5.5 Medium |
| pip would treat console_scripts and gui_scripts as paths instead of file names without sanitizing the resolved absolute path to the installation directory, leading to entry points being installed outside the installation directory. | ||||
| CVE-2026-79773 | 1 Wintercms | 1 Winter | 2026-08-28 | 4.9 Medium |
| Winter CMS before 1.2.13 contains a local file inclusion vulnerability in the JavascriptImporter filter that allows authenticated users with cms.manage_assets permission to disclose arbitrary server-readable files by placing =include or =require directives in theme JavaScript assets. Attackers can reference files like .env outside the theme directory, and the combined output served through the combine route becomes readable by unauthenticated visitors, exposing application keys and database credentials. | ||||
| CVE-2026-54732 | 1 Elwerene | 1 Libreoffice-convert | 2026-08-28 | 6.5 Medium |
| libreoffice-convert is a Node.js module for converting office documents to different formats. Prior to 1.8.2, index.js uses the caller-controlled options.fileName value in path.join(tempDir.name, fileName) without reducing it to a base name. A filename containing ../ can escape the temporary directory because path.basename() normalization is missing and write the supplied document buffer to an arbitrary path writable by the process, including an SSH authorized_keys file, a cron configuration, or a web root. This issue is fixed in version 1.8.2. | ||||
| CVE-2026-54293 | 1 Nltk | 1 Nltk | 2026-08-28 | 7.5 High |
| NLTK (Natural Language Toolkit) is a suite of open source Python modules, data sets, and tutorials supporting research and development in Natural Language Processing. Prior to 3.10.0-rc1, nltk.data.load() in NLTK is vulnerable to path traversal via URL-encoded path separators and traversal segments when using the nltk: URL scheme. The unsafe-path regex check is performed before url2pathname() decodes the %xx sequences (a classic decode-after-check / TOCTOU-style flaw), allowing an attacker to bypass the protection documented in NLTK's SECURITY.md and read arbitrary files from the filesystem. While literal traversal strings such as ../../../etc/passwd are correctly blocked, encoded variants such as %2fetc%2fpasswd, %2e%2e%2f..., and ..%2f..%2f slip past the regex and are subsequently decoded into a real filesystem path. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.10.0-rc1. | ||||
