| CVE-2017-15265 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 7 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Mrg and 4 more | 2025-04-20 | 7.0 High |
| Race condition in the ALSA subsystem in the Linux kernel before 4.13.8 allows local users to cause a denial of service (use-after-free) or possibly have unspecified other impact via crafted /dev/snd/seq ioctl calls, related to sound/core/seq/seq_clientmgr.c and sound/core/seq/seq_ports.c. | ||||
| CVE-2017-15041 | 3 Debian, Golang, Redhat | 9 Debian Linux, Go, Developer Tools and 6 more | 2025-04-20 | 9.8 Critical |
| Go before 1.8.4 and 1.9.x before 1.9.1 allows "go get" remote command execution. Using custom domains, it is possible to arrange things so that example.com/pkg1 points to a Subversion repository but example.com/pkg1/pkg2 points to a Git repository. If the Subversion repository includes a Git checkout in its pkg2 directory and some other work is done to ensure the proper ordering of operations, "go get" can be tricked into reusing this Git checkout for the fetch of code from pkg2. If the Subversion repository's Git checkout has malicious commands in .git/hooks/, they will execute on the system running "go get." | ||||
| CVE-2017-15086 | 1 Redhat | 3 Enterprise Linux, Gluster Storage, Storage | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| It was discovered that the fix for CVE-2017-12151 was not properly shipped in erratum RHSA-2017:2858 for Red Hat Gluster Storage 3.3 for RHEL 6. | ||||
| CVE-2017-15100 | 2 Redhat, Theforeman | 3 Satellite, Satellite Capsule, Foreman | 2025-04-20 | 6.1 Medium |
| An attacker submitting facts to the Foreman server containing HTML can cause a stored XSS on certain pages: (1) Facts page, when clicking on the "chart" button and hovering over the chart; (2) Trends page, when checking the graph for a trend based on a such fact; (3) Statistics page, for facts that are aggregated on this page. | ||||
| CVE-2017-15104 | 2 Heketi Project, Redhat | 3 Heketi, Enterprise Linux, Storage | 2025-04-20 | 7.8 High |
| An access flaw was found in Heketi 5, where the heketi.json configuration file was world readable. An attacker having local access to the Heketi server could read plain-text passwords from the heketi.json file. | ||||
| CVE-2017-14746 | 4 Canonical, Debian, Redhat and 1 more | 8 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Enterprise Linux and 5 more | 2025-04-20 | 9.8 Critical |
| Use-after-free vulnerability in Samba 4.x before 4.7.3 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted SMB1 request. | ||||
| CVE-2017-14604 | 3 Debian, Gnome, Redhat | 3 Debian Linux, Nautilus, Enterprise Linux | 2025-04-20 | 6.5 Medium |
| GNOME Nautilus before 3.23.90 allows attackers to spoof a file type by using the .desktop file extension, as demonstrated by an attack in which a .desktop file's Name field ends in .pdf but this file's Exec field launches a malicious "sh -c" command. In other words, Nautilus provides no UI indication that a file actually has the potentially unsafe .desktop extension; instead, the UI only shows the .pdf extension. One (slightly) mitigating factor is that an attack requires the .desktop file to have execute permission. The solution is to ask the user to confirm that the file is supposed to be treated as a .desktop file, and then remember the user's answer in the metadata::trusted field. | ||||
| CVE-2017-14503 | 2 Libarchive, Redhat | 2 Libarchive, Enterprise Linux | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| libarchive 3.3.2 suffers from an out-of-bounds read within lha_read_data_none() in archive_read_support_format_lha.c when extracting a specially crafted lha archive, related to lha_crc16. | ||||
| CVE-2017-14493 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Opensuse and 2 more | 9 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Leap and 6 more | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| Stack-based buffer overflow in dnsmasq before 2.78 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) or execute arbitrary code via a crafted DHCPv6 request. | ||||
| CVE-2017-14491 | 13 Arista, Arubanetworks, Canonical and 10 more | 35 Eos, Arubaos, Ubuntu Linux and 32 more | 2025-04-20 | 9.8 Critical |

| CVE-2017-13090 | 3 Debian, Gnu, Redhat | 3 Debian Linux, Wget, Enterprise Linux | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| The retr.c:fd_read_body() function is called when processing OK responses. When the response is sent chunked in wget before 1.19.2, the chunk parser uses strtol() to read each chunk's length, but doesn't check that the chunk length is a non-negative number. The code then tries to read the chunk in pieces of 8192 bytes by using the MIN() macro, but ends up passing the negative chunk length to retr.c:fd_read(). As fd_read() takes an int argument, the high 32 bits of the chunk length are discarded, leaving fd_read() with a completely attacker controlled length argument. The attacker can corrupt malloc metadata after the allocated buffer. | ||||
| CVE-2017-13089 | 3 Debian, Gnu, Redhat | 3 Debian Linux, Wget, Enterprise Linux | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| The http.c:skip_short_body() function is called in some circumstances, such as when processing redirects. When the response is sent chunked in wget before 1.19.2, the chunk parser uses strtol() to read each chunk's length, but doesn't check that the chunk length is a non-negative number. The code then tries to skip the chunk in pieces of 512 bytes by using the MIN() macro, but ends up passing the negative chunk length to connect.c:fd_read(). As fd_read() takes an int argument, the high 32 bits of the chunk length are discarded, leaving fd_read() with a completely attacker controlled length argument. | ||||
| CVE-2017-13009 | 2 Redhat, Tcpdump | 2 Enterprise Linux, Tcpdump | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| The IPv6 mobility parser in tcpdump before 4.9.2 has a buffer over-read in print-mobility.c:mobility_print(). | ||||
