| The address_space_write_continue function in exec.c in QEMU (aka Quick Emulator) allows local guest OS privileged users to cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds access and guest instance crash) by leveraging use of qemu_map_ram_ptr to access guest ram block area. | ||||

| net/xfrm/xfrm_policy.c in the Linux kernel through 4.12.3, when CONFIG_XFRM_MIGRATE is enabled, does not ensure that the dir value of xfrm_userpolicy_id is XFRM_POLICY_MAX or less, which allows local users to cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds access) or possibly have unspecified other impact via an XFRM_MSG_MIGRATE xfrm Netlink message. | ||||
| CVE-2017-12168 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-04-20 | 6.0 Medium |
| The access_pmu_evcntr function in arch/arm64/kvm/sys_regs.c in the Linux kernel before 4.8.11 allows privileged KVM guest OS users to cause a denial of service (assertion failure and host OS crash) by accessing the Performance Monitors Cycle Count Register (PMCCNTR). | ||||

| arch/x86/kvm/mmu.c in the Linux kernel through 4.13.5, when nested virtualisation is used, does not properly traverse guest pagetable entries to resolve a guest virtual address, which allows L1 guest OS users to execute arbitrary code on the host OS or cause a denial of service (incorrect index during page walking, and host OS crash), aka an "MMU potential stack buffer overrun." | ||||
| CVE-2017-15275 | 4 Canonical, Debian, Redhat and 1 more | 8 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Enterprise Linux and 5 more | 2025-04-20 | 7.5 High |

| Race condition in the ALSA subsystem in the Linux kernel before 4.13.8 allows local users to cause a denial of service (use-after-free) or possibly have unspecified other impact via crafted /dev/snd/seq ioctl calls, related to sound/core/seq/seq_clientmgr.c and sound/core/seq/seq_ports.c. | ||||
| CVE-2017-12613 | 3 Apache, Debian, Redhat | 17 Portable Runtime, Debian Linux, Enterprise Linux and 14 more | 2025-04-20 | 7.1 High |
| When apr_time_exp*() or apr_os_exp_time*() functions are invoked with an invalid month field value in Apache Portable Runtime APR 1.6.2 and prior, out of bounds memory may be accessed in converting this value to an apr_time_exp_t value, potentially revealing the contents of a different static heap value or resulting in program termination, and may represent an information disclosure or denial of service vulnerability to applications which call these APR functions with unvalidated external input. | ||||
| CVE-2017-12933 | 2 Php, Redhat | 2 Php, Rhel Software Collections | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| The finish_nested_data function in ext/standard/var_unserializer.re in PHP before 5.6.31, 7.0.x before 7.0.21, and 7.1.x before 7.1.7 is prone to a buffer over-read while unserializing untrusted data. Exploitation of this issue can have an unspecified impact on the integrity of PHP. | ||||
| CVE-2017-12987 | 3 Debian, Redhat, Tcpdump | 6 Debian Linux, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Desktop and 3 more | 2025-04-20 | 9.8 Critical |
| The IEEE 802.11 parser in tcpdump before 4.9.2 has a buffer over-read in print-802_11.c:parse_elements(). | ||||

| The Juniper protocols parser in tcpdump before 4.9.2 has a buffer over-read in print-juniper.c:juniper_parse_header(). | ||||
| CVE-2017-14604 | 3 Debian, Gnome, Redhat | 3 Debian Linux, Nautilus, Enterprise Linux | 2025-04-20 | 6.5 Medium |
| GNOME Nautilus before 3.23.90 allows attackers to spoof a file type by using the .desktop file extension, as demonstrated by an attack in which a .desktop file's Name field ends in .pdf but this file's Exec field launches a malicious "sh -c" command. In other words, Nautilus provides no UI indication that a file actually has the potentially unsafe .desktop extension; instead, the UI only shows the .pdf extension. One (slightly) mitigating factor is that an attack requires the .desktop file to have execute permission. The solution is to ask the user to confirm that the file is supposed to be treated as a .desktop file, and then remember the user's answer in the metadata::trusted field. | ||||

| CVE-2017-13711 | 3 Debian, Qemu, Redhat | 4 Debian Linux, Qemu, Enterprise Linux and 1 more | 2025-04-20 | 7.5 High |

| CVE-2017-3732 | 3 Nodejs, Openssl, Redhat | 5 Node.js, Openssl, Jboss Core Services and 2 more | 2025-04-20 | 5.9 Medium |
| There is a carry propagating bug in the x86_64 Montgomery squaring procedure in OpenSSL 1.0.2 before 1.0.2k and 1.1.0 before 1.1.0d. No EC algorithms are affected. Analysis suggests that attacks against RSA and DSA as a result of this defect would be very difficult to perform and are not believed likely. Attacks against DH are considered just feasible (although very difficult) because most of the work necessary to deduce information about a private key may be performed offline. The amount of resources required for such an attack would be very significant and likely only accessible to a limited number of attackers. An attacker would additionally need online access to an unpatched system using the target private key in a scenario with persistent DH parameters and a private key that is shared between multiple clients. For example this can occur by default in OpenSSL DHE based SSL/TLS ciphersuites. Note: This issue is very similar to CVE-2015-3193 but must be treated as a separate problem. | ||||
| CVE-2016-5222 | 2 Google, Redhat | 2 Chrome, Rhel Extras | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| Incorrect handling of invalid URLs in Google Chrome prior to 55.0.2883.75 for Mac, Windows and Linux, and 55.0.2883.84 for Android allowed a remote attacker to spoof the contents of the Omnibox (URL bar) via a crafted HTML page. | ||||
| CVE-2016-10164 | 2 Redhat, X.org | 2 Enterprise Linux, Libxpm | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| Multiple integer overflows in libXpm before 3.5.12, when a program requests parsing XPM extensions on a 64-bit platform, allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds write) or execute arbitrary code via (1) the number of extensions or (2) their concatenated length in a crafted XPM file, which triggers a heap-based buffer overflow. | ||||
