| CVE-2026-86203 | 2026-09-09 | 3.7 Low | ||
| PocketMine-MP versions before 5.39.2 fail to validate entity despawn state when processing attack packets from clients. Attackers can exploit a race condition by attacking a disconnecting player to trigger multiple death handlers, causing inventory items and experience to drop multiple times for duplication. | ||||
| CVE-2026-86201 | 2026-09-09 | 7.5 High | ||
| PocketMine-MP before 5.41.1 contains a denial of service vulnerability in LoginPacket processing where large or complex structures in unknown clientData JWT properties cause excessive logging without sanitization. Attackers can send crafted LoginPackets with deeply nested or massive object structures to trigger out-of-memory conditions and crash the server. | ||||
| CVE-2026-86200 | 2026-09-09 | 5.3 Medium | ||
| PocketMine-MP versions before 5.42.1 contain a denial of service vulnerability in the LoginPacket handler that allows remote attackers to flood warning messages by injecting numerous junk properties into the clientData JWT. Attackers can craft malicious login packets with excessive unknown properties to waste server CPU time and degrade performance. | ||||
| CVE-2026-86198 | 2026-09-09 | 4.2 Medium | ||
| PocketMine-MP versions before 5.44.2 fail to properly validate multiple ResourcePackClientResponsePacket packets with STATUS_COMPLETED status during resource pack handling. Malicious clients can send batches of these packets to repeatedly trigger pre-spawn progression, creating duplicate Player objects and amplifying memory consumption and network traffic. | ||||
| CVE-2026-73324 | 1 Videolan | 1 Vlc Media Player | 2026-09-09 | 6.5 Medium |
| VLC media player copies an RTSP response line into a fixed buffer without guaranteeing termination and then treats that buffer as a C string. RtspReadLine in modules/access/rtsp/access.c calls strncpy with the full buffer length, which writes no terminator when the source line is at least as long as the destination, and rtsp_get in modules/access/rtsp/rtsp.c allocates that buffer as BUF_SIZE bytes and passes it to strdup. When a server returns a line of 4096 bytes or more, strdup measures its length past the end of the allocation and copies adjacent heap bytes until an incidental zero byte. Because the affected line is the Session header, the disclosed bytes are retained as the session identifier and sent back to the server on every subsequent request, so the operator of a hostile server reads heap memory from the client rather than inferring it. The attacker controls the line length and therefore how far the read runs. A single playlist entry naming a realrtsp URL is sufficient. The module is a build-time option, disabled in some distribution packages and enabled in the official VideoLAN builds. | ||||
| CVE-2026-56711 | 1 Videolan | 1 Vlc Media Player | 2026-09-09 | 8.8 High |
| VLC media player computes the size of a picture buffer with 32-bit arithmetic and allocates from the wrapped result. In AllocatePicture in src/misc/picture.c the running total is accumulated as i_bytes += p->i_pitch * p->i_lines, and both plane_t fields are declared int in include/vlc_picture.h, so the multiplication is evaluated at 32 bits and wraps before it is widened to the size_t accumulator. The overflow check that precedes it divides in 64-bit arithmetic and therefore does not constrain the product, and the subsequent comparison against PICTURE_SW_SIZE_MAX examines the already wrapped value, so both guards pass. aligned_alloc then reserves the small wrapped size while the decoder writes scanlines sized from the original dimensions. A crafted PNG whose IHDR declares large width and height reaches this path through the image demuxer, whose only size guard is on the input file's byte count rather than the declared dimensions, and the decoder in modules/codec/png.c writes past the end of the allocation with attacker-influenced length and content. Opening the file directly or through a playlist entry is sufficient, with no non-default settings. | ||||
| CVE-2025-71417 | 2026-09-09 | 6.5 Medium | ||
| PocketMine-MP before 5.32.1 fails to validate uniqueness of pack UUIDs in ResourcePackClientResponsePacket STATUS_SEND_PACKS handling, allowing authenticated clients to trigger duplicate pack transmissions. Attackers can send multiple copies of valid pack UUIDs in a single packet to exhaust server memory and cause denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2024-58381 | 2026-09-09 | 7.5 High | ||
| PocketMine-MP before 5.11.1 contains a denial of service vulnerability in LoginPacket JSON processing that allows remote attackers to crash the server by sending malformed JSON data. Attackers can exploit improper object initialization from scalar JSON types to trigger unset required properties, causing the application to crash. | ||||
| CVE-2024-58380 | 2026-09-09 | 6.5 Medium | ||
| PocketMine-MP versions before 5.11.2 contain a denial of service vulnerability in BookEditPacket handling that crashes the server when an invalid inventory slot value is provided. Attackers can send a crafted BookEditPacket with an inventory slot greater than 35 to trigger an unhandled exception and crash the server. | ||||
| CVE-2023-54395 | 2026-09-09 | 4.3 Medium | ||
| PocketMine-MP versions before 4.12.5 contain a denial-of-service vulnerability in ModalFormResponsePacket processing that allows attackers to cause server resource exhaustion by sending large JSON payloads. Attackers can send numerous oversized modal form response packets to consume CPU time and prevent the server from processing legitimate connections. | ||||
| CVE-2023-54393 | 2026-09-09 | 7.5 High | ||
| PocketMine-MP versions before 4.20.5 contain a denial of service vulnerability in LoginPacket JSON parsing due to improper validation in the JsonMapper dependency. Attackers can send malformed JSON structures in LoginPacket to crash the server. | ||||
| CVE-2023-54392 | 2026-09-09 | 6.5 Medium | ||
| PocketMine-MP versions >= 4.20.0 before 4.22.3 (and before 5.2.1 in the 5.x branch) fail to validate NBT tag types in BlockActorDataPacket. A player can crash the server by sending a packet containing sign NBT data with an incorrect tag type, triggering an unhandled UnexpectedTagTypeException that terminates the server process. | ||||
| CVE-2023-54355 | 2026-09-09 | 7.5 High | ||
| PocketMine-MP versions before 5.3.1 and 4.23.1 fail to validate that the identityPublicKey in LoginPacket uses the required secp384r1 elliptic curve. Attackers can provide LoginPackets with keys using different curves or non-EC key types to pass login verification but trigger an uncaught exception during ECDH key derivation, crashing the server. | ||||

| CVE-2026-78254 | 1 Apache | 1 Ant | 2026-09-09 | 7.4 High |
| The ftp and scp tasks of Apache Ant can download files from a remote server. A malicious server can provide relative paths that allow it to write outside of the dedicated target directory for the download, making it possible to overwrite files of the attacker's choice using the permissions of the user running Ant in versions prior to Ant 1.10.18. In order to exploit this vulnerability, the server would either have to be malicious or be subject to a machine-in-the-middle attack. Additionally in the case of scp or the ftp task using ftps the server must pass the server identity checks performed by the tasks. For ftp tasks not using ftps a malicious server could act as a machine-in-the-middle to provide malicious files. Starting with Ant 1.10.18 both tasks will prevent writing outside of the destination directory by default. An option is available to disable this behavior in the unlikely case that the old behavior is required by existing build files. Mitigations: Users of scp and ftp (when using ftps) in any version of Ant should not bypass server identity checks. Users of ftp not using ftps should switch to ftps where possible. All users are recommended to upgrade to Apache Ant 1.10.18, which fixes this issue. | ||||
