| CVE-2026-98752 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-23 | 4.7 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tty: port: fix tty_port_tty_vhangup() race Drivers rely on tty_port_tty_vhangup() to synchronously hang up their ports before tearing down resources as part of deregistration (e.g. on physical disconnect). If tty_port_tty_vhangup() races with another hangup it may however return before the port has been shut down. This is in turn can lead to use-after-free and NULL-pointer dereferences in racing ioctls (including a synchronous hangup) and in processing of racing asynchronous hangups (carrier loss). Add the missing serialisation to tty_port_tty_vhangup() and tty_port_hangup() so that the former does not return until the port has been shut down also when there is a racing hangup. Note that serial core does not use tty_port_hangup(), but it already holds the port mutex when clearing port->tty and shutting down the port in uart_hangup(). | ||||
| CVE-2026-98754 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-23 | 7.0 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tty: vcc: hold port lock when clearing tty pointer in vcc_cleanup vcc_cleanup() sets port->tty to NULL without holding port->lock, racing with vcc_event() LDC callbacks that read port->tty under port->lock and then use tty->port. This can cause a use-after-free when the callback dereferences tty->port after cleanup has already destroyed and freed it. | ||||

| CVE-2026-98967 | 1 Linux | 2 Linux, Linux Kernel | 2026-10-23 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: cxgb4/ch_ktls: disable softirqs around tid_list erases chcr_ktls_cpl_act_open_rpl() inserts into tid_list from the receive path using xa_insert_bh(). The array is shared by the adapter's connections and initialized with XA_FLAGS_LOCK_BH. However, chcr_ktls_dev_del() and the chcr_ktls_dev_add() error path use xa_erase(), which takes the XArray lock without disabling softirqs. When cleanup runs with softirqs enabled, a receive softirq for another connection on the same CPU can interrupt the erase and spin on the lock held by the interrupted task. Use xa_erase_bh() at both sites to match the insertion path. | ||||
| CVE-2026-55889 | 1 Flatpak | 1 Xdg-desktop-portal | 2026-10-23 | 5.3 Medium |
| XDG Desktop Portal is a desktop integration portal. Prior to version 1.22.1, malicious sandboxed applications can use the FileTransfer.RetrieveFiles method to redirect drag-and-drop and copy-paste data targeted at other applications to itself. Some portals generate tokens which provide access to resources. The sharing of the token transfers access to the resource and is supposed to happen out of band. The tokens were generated with g_random_int or g_uuid_string_random, both of which use GLib's GRand based on the Mersenne Twister PRNG which created a stream of reproducible random numbers. By generating enough tokens, the state of the GRand can be recover and with it, the next tokens can be predictedinsufin. This issue has been patched in version 1.22.1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-114612 | 1 Berriai | 1 Litellm | 2026-10-23 | 9.9 Critical |
| LiteLLM is a proxy server (AI Gateway) to call LLM APIs in OpenAI (or native) format. From 1.87.0 until 1.100.4, 1.101.3, 1.102.2, 1.103.1, and 1.104.0-rc.2, the proxy reuses one cryptographic context for at-rest secrets and session tokens, allowing an authenticated internal user to have crafted metadata containing a forged administrator credential encrypted and returned by the API-key flow. Replaying that ciphertext as a bearer token causes the proxy to trust the forged proxy administrator identity, permitting administrative access and arbitrary commands through the MCP stdio endpoint. Versions 1.87.0 through 1.90.x require EXPERIMENTAL_UI_LOGIN to be enabled, while versions after 1.91.0 are exploitable in the default configuration. This issue was fixed in LiteLLM 1.100.4, 1.101.3, 1.102.2, 1.103.1, and 1.104.0-rc.2. | ||||
| CVE-2025-59529 | 1 Avahi | 1 Avahi | 2026-10-23 | 5.5 Medium |
| Avahi is a system which facilitates service discovery on a local network via the mDNS/DNS-SD protocol suite. In versions up to and including 0.9-rc5, the simple protocol server ignores the documented client limit and accepts unlimited connections, allowing for easy local DoS. Although `CLIENTS_MAX` is defined, `server_work()` unconditionally `accept()`s and `client_new()` always appends the new client and increments `n_clients`. There is no check against the limit. When client cannot be accepted as a result of maximal socket number of avahi-daemon, it logs unconditionally error per each connection. Unprivileged local users can exhaust daemon memory and file descriptors, causing a denial of service system-wide for mDNS/DNS-SD. Exhausting local file descriptors causes increased system load caused by logging errors of each of request. Overloading prevents glibc calls using nss-mdns plugins to resolve `*.local.` names and link-local addresses. As of time of publication, no known patched versions are available, but a candidate fix is available in pull request 808, and some workarounds are available. Simple clients are offered for nss-mdns package functionality. It is not possible to disable the unix socket `/run/avahi-daemon/socket`, but resolution requests received via DBus are not affected directly. Tools avahi-resolve, avahi-resolve-address and avahi-resolve-host-name are not affected, they use DBus interface. It is possible to change permissions of unix socket after avahi-daemon is started. But avahi-daemon does not provide any configuration for it. Additional access restrictions like SELinux can also prevent unwanted tools to access the socket and keep resolution working for trusted users. | ||||

| CVE-2026-98761 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-23 | 4.0 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: typec: tcpm: recover after failure to start the frs ams Reset the port if the tcpm fails to start the FAST_ROLE_SWAP AMS by initiating error recovery on it. This helps in cases where some cables (incorrectly) signal an FRS to an FRS capable port during disconnection. The TCPC autonomously starts sourcing VBUS on detecting the FRS signal. However, the VBUS sourcing is left on when the FAST_ROLE_SWAP AMS fails to start (as tcpm_sink_tx_ok is 0 as CC is open due to the cable disconnect). This is because the code sets the state to INVALID_STATE without resetting the port state. | CVE-2026-98763 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-23 | 6.2 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: core: clear both ep_in and ep_out for non-ep0 control endpoints In usb_enable_endpoint(), non-zero control endpoints (where usb_endpoint_xfer_control(&ep->desc) is true) populate both dev->ep_in[epnum] and dev->ep_out[epnum] with the same struct usb_host_endpoint pointer. However, usb_disable_endpoint() only clears either dev->ep_out[epnum] or dev->ep_in[epnum] depending on the direction bit of epaddr when reset_hardware is set, leaving the opposite direction's array slot pointing to the disabled/freed endpoint. Clear both dev->ep_out[epnum] and dev->ep_in[epnum] when disabling a non-ep0 control endpoint with reset_hardware set, and update the function kerneldoc accordingly. Tested in QEMU against Linux 7.3.0-rc3 using dummy_hcd and raw-gadget to enumerate a USB device with a non-zero control endpoint (bEndpointAddress 0x01, bmAttributes USB_ENDPOINT_XFER_CONTROL), verifying that both dev->ep_in[1] and dev->ep_out[1] are cleared when the interface is disabled. | ||||
