| CVE-2026-85114 | 2026-10-16 | 7.5 High | ||
| A vulnerability has been identified in .NET Client Library for SIMATIC S7 Webserver API (All versions < V3.3.61). Affected applications do not properly validate filenames received from remote servers during ticket downloads. This could allow an attacker who can manipulate the ticket response to write arbitrary files outside the intended download directory and, when overwriting is enabled, replace existing files accessible to the application. | ||||
| CVE-2026-105751 | 2 Docling, Docling-project | 2 Docling, Docling | 2026-10-16 | 7.5 High |
| Docling simplifies document processing by parsing diverse formats and providing integrations with the generative AI ecosystem. From 2.107.0 until 2.120.3, docling/backend/opendocument_backend.py uses the xlink:href attribute value of a draw:image element as a filesystem path when the referenced part is not found in the document archive. The _image_ref_from_odf_image function reads that attacker-controlled path without a scheme check, extraction-directory confinement, or the enable_local_fetch setting used by other backends. Readable files that Pillow can decode as images are embedded in converted output, and other existing paths can be distinguished through the attempted read. This issue is fixed in 2.120.3. | ||||
| CVE-2026-105032 | 2026-10-16 | 9.1 Critical | ||
| The EnergizeLab Eilik and EilikO AI skill upload endpoint, served by the FastAPI AI inference and profiling services, does not require authentication and does not constrain uploaded file paths. An unauthenticated remote attacker can use path traversal to write arbitrary files, and thereby tamper with AI skill files used by Eilik and EilikO robots. | ||||
| CVE-2025-66275 | 2 Qnap, Qnap Systems | 2 Video Station, Video Station | 2026-10-16 | 6.5 Medium |
| A path traversal vulnerability has been reported to affect Video Station. If a remote attacker gains a user account, they can then exploit the vulnerability to read the contents of unexpected files or system data. We have already fixed the vulnerability in the following version: Video Station 5.8.5 and later | ||||
| CVE-2026-54675 | 2 Freepbx, Sangoma | 2 Security-reporting, Freepbx | 2026-10-16 | 8.8 High |
| FreePBX is an open source IP PBX. Prior to versions 16.0.10 and 17.0.5, a critical vulnerability exists in the sound language upload and conversion functionality that allows an authenticated attacker to perform arbitrary file writes, leading directly to remote code execution (RCE). Authentication with a known username is required. The vulnerability stems from insufficient path sanitization in the file conversion process, enabling path traversal attacks that place malicious PHP files in the web server's root directory. This issue has been patched in versions 16.0.10 and 17.0.5. | ||||
| CVE-2026-54708 | 2 Freepbx, Sangoma | 2 Security-reporting, Freepbx | 2026-10-16 | 8.8 High |
| FreePBX is an open source IP PBX. Prior to versions 16.0.72 and 17.0.7, a critical vulnerability exists in the FreePBX backup Module that allows authenticated attackers to execute arbitrary code on the server. Authentication with a known username that has sufficient access permissions and/or write access to backup files is required. This vulnerability is caused by improper path sanitization in the backup restore functionality, enabling attackers to upload malicious PHP files to the web root directory. This issue has been patched in versions 16.0.72 and 17.0.7. | ||||
| CVE-2026-96612 | 1 Hexpm | 1 Hex | 2026-10-16 | N/A |
| Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in hexpm hex allows a malicious package publisher to delete a directory outside the project's deps directory and extract package files into it when a developer fetches dependencies. A package release's requirements carry an app label that names the dependency's OTP application. Hex takes this label from the repository's signed registry and uses it as the dependency's application name without validating it (Hex.RemoteConverger.deps/2, Hex.Mix.to_lock/1). Mix derives the dependency's checkout directory as deps/<app>, and Hex.SCM.update/1 runs File.rm_rf!/1 on that directory and unpacks the package into it. hex.pm only checks the label's length, so a publisher can set it to a value such as ../../target. When a project depends on such a release directly or transitively, mix deps.get or mix deps.update deletes the directory the label resolves to and writes the labelled package's files there. This happens before any dependency code is compiled. This issue affects hex: from 0.6.0 before 2.5.2. | ||||
| CVE-2026-84823 | 1 Redhat | 5 Enterprise Linux, Jboss Enterprise Application Platform, Jboss Fuse and 2 more | 2026-10-16 | 7.1 High |
| A flaw was found in WildFly. A user with the `Monitor` role, which is the lowest standard Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) role, can exploit a path traversal vulnerability in the `take-snapshot` operation. By manipulating the `name` parameter, this user can write a copy of the server configuration to an arbitrary location. This allows the `Monitor` role to read back the server configuration, including sensitive credentials, which would otherwise be restricted by RBAC, leading to information disclosure. | ||||
| CVE-2026-79715 | 1 Ibm | 1 Websphere Application Server Liberty | 2026-10-16 | 5.5 Medium |
| IBM WebSphere Application Server - Liberty 17.0.0.3 through 26.0.0.9 could allow a local attacker to traverse directories on the system. An attacker could use a specially crafted application archive to write files outside the intended directory. | ||||
| CVE-2026-42269 | 2026-10-16 | 8.1 High | ||
| countly-server is the server-side part of Countly, a product analytics solution. Prior to 24.05.50 and 25.03.44, the authenticated data-migration deletion route in plugins/data_migration/api/api.js passes the user-controlled exportid to clean_up_data without path validation. plugins/data_migration/api/data_migration_helper.js concatenates that identifier into a path resolved outside the intended import directory and calls remove recursively, allowing an application administrator or user with migration permission to delete writable files or directory trees and cause data loss or service disruption. This issue is fixed in versions 24.05.50 and 25.03.44. | ||||
| CVE-2026-103061 | 2 Gleam, Gleam-lang | 2 Gleam, Gleam | 2026-10-16 | 7.1 High |
| Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in gleam-lang gleam allows a malicious package publisher to delete a directory outside the project's build directory when a developer builds a project. A Hex package release's metadata carries an app field with the release's OTP application name. Gleam reads this field from the hex.pm release API when it downloads dependencies and uses it as the package's build directory name without validating it (hex_manifest_package in compiler-cli/src/dependencies.rs, ProjectPaths::build_directory_for_package). When a dependency fails to compile, Gleam deletes that directory with remove_dir_all. hex.pm didn't restrict the field to a directory name before 2026-10-12, so a publisher could set it to a value such as ../../../../target or an absolute path. When a project depends on such a release directly or transitively and the release fails to compile, gleam build, gleam check, gleam run, gleam test or gleam export deletes the directory the name resolves to. For a pure Gleam package no publisher code runs. This issue affects gleam: from 0.32.4 before 1.19.2. | ||||
| CVE-2026-103060 | 1 Erlang | 1 Rebar3 | 2026-10-16 | N/A |
| Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in erlang rebar3 allows a malicious package publisher to delete a directory outside the project's _build directory and extract package files into it when a developer fetches dependencies. A package release's dependencies in a Hex registry carry an app field that names the dependency's OTP application. rebar3 uses this field as the dependency's name without validating it (rebar_packages:parse_deps/1) and builds the dependency's directory from that name (rebar_app_utils:dep_to_app/7). rebar_fetch:download_source_online/2 deletes that directory with rm -rf and moves the fetched package into it. hex.pm didn't restrict the field to a directory name before 2026-10-12, so a publisher could set it to a value such as ../../../../target. When a project depends on such a release directly or transitively, rebar3 get-deps deletes the directory the name resolves to and writes the dependency's files there. This happens before the dependency's own rebar.config.script is evaluated, and get-deps compiles nothing. This issue affects rebar3: from 3.7.0-rc1 before 3.27.2. | ||||
| CVE-2026-111635 | 2026-10-16 | 4.3 Medium | ||
| Helical Insight through 7.0.0 contains a path traversal vulnerability that allows authenticated viewers to read files outside the solution directory via the path parameter of /getExternalResource. Attackers can supply parent-directory segments to read any readable file with an allowed extension such as js, json, or html, bypassing per-resource access control. | ||||
| CVE-2026-111618 | 2026-10-16 | 5.3 Medium | ||
| CoAI (Chat Nio) through 4.0.0 contains an unauthenticated path traversal vulnerability in the generation and article archive download endpoints via the hash query parameter. Attackers can supply ../ sequences in hash to download any readable .tar.gz or .zip file, including other users' generated archives. | ||||
| CVE-2026-21133 | 1 Samsung Mobile | 1 Samsung Flow | 2026-10-16 | N/A |
| Path traversal in Samsung Flow prior to version 4.9.22.1 allows local attackers to access clipboard data. | ||||
| CVE-2026-104769 | 2026-10-16 | 5.9 Medium | ||
| The Debloat – Remove Unused CSS, Optimize JS plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Directory Traversal in all versions up to, and including, 1.3.0 via the 's' parameter parameter. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above, to read the contents of arbitrary files on the server, which can contain sensitive information. Exploitation requires that the site administrator has enabled the Optimize CSS feature (with the default Inline Google Fonts option active), but once that condition is met the attack is trivially triggered by an unauthenticated visitor with a single crafted GET request to the public search URL. | ||||
| CVE-2026-34015 | 1 Qnap | 1 Video Station | 2026-10-16 | 6.5 Medium |
| A path traversal vulnerability has been reported to affect Video Station. If a remote attacker gains a user account, they can then exploit the vulnerability to read the contents of unexpected files or system data. We have already fixed the vulnerability in the following version: Video Station 5.8.8 and later | ||||
| CVE-2026-93767 | 2026-10-16 | 6.5 Medium | ||
| The Tainacan plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Directory Traversal in all versions up to, and including, 1.3.0 via the 'guid' parameter parameter. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to read the contents of arbitrary files on the server, which can contain sensitive information. This vulnerability is exploitable only when the uploads/tainacan directory does not exist on the server, as this condition causes realpath() to return false, collapsing the base path to an empty string and rendering the containment check ineffective. | ||||
| CVE-2026-63843 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-16 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu/jpeg: set no_user_fence for JPEG v4.0.5 ring JPEG rings do not support 64-bit user fence writes, reject CS submissions with user fences. (cherry picked from commit f05d0a4f21fc720116d6e238f23308b199891058) | ||||
| CVE-2026-41582 | 2026-10-16 | 7.5 High | ||
| countly-server is the server-side part of Countly, a product analytics solution. Prior to 24.05.50 and 25.03.44, public image and screenshot routes implemented in frontend/express/app.js, plugins/star-rating/frontend/app.js, and plugins/dashboards/frontend/app.js concatenate attacker-controlled wildcard paths without containment validation. On deployments using the local filesystem backend, an unauthenticated request can traverse outside the intended asset directories and reach getStats or getStream in api/utils/countlyFs.js, allowing arbitrary readable server files to be disclosed. The affected routes include /appimages/*, /memberimages/*, */screenshots/*, /star-rating/images/*, and /dashboards/images/screenshots/*. This issue is fixed in versions 24.05.50 and 25.03.44. | ||||
