| CVE-2026-18147 | 1 Redhat | 6 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Freeipa and 3 more | 2026-10-15 | 8.1 High |
| A flaw was found in FreeIPA. An unauthenticated remote attacker could exploit a DOM Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the FreeIPA/IdM Web UI password reset page. By enticing a victim to click a specially crafted link and complete a password reset, the attacker could inject and execute arbitrary JavaScript code. This allows the attacker to perform actions within the victim's authenticated session, potentially leading to full administrative control if an IdM administrator is targeted. | ||||
| CVE-2026-13097 | 2 Freeipa, Redhat | 6 Freeipa, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 3 more | 2026-10-15 | 8.7 High |
| A privilege escalation flaw was found in FreeIPA. The uniqueness constraint enforced on Kerberos principal name attributes in the 389-ds directory server does not properly account for equivalent representations of the same principal name, allowing a user with sufficient LDAP write privileges to create a service principal that impersonates an existing privileged one. This can lead to unauthorized acquisition of Kerberos service tickets for sensitive services, potentially resulting in full domain compromise. | ||||
| CVE-2026-104795 | 1 Redhat | 1 Openshift | 2026-10-15 | 8.8 High |
| The insights-runtime-extractor runs as a privileged DaemonSet (`hostPID: true`) that scans container processes for runtime fingerprinting. When scanning a container, the coordinator: 1. **fork()s** a child process 2. **setns()** into the target container's PID and mount namespaces 3. **fchdir()** back to an orphaned FD pointing at the extractor's own root filesystem (where `/crio.sock` is hostPath-mounted) 4. Calls **only `seteuid(target_uid)`** — changing the effective UID but leaving the **real UID and saved-set-UID at 0** and **retaining the permitted capability set** 5. The `check_no_privileged_perms()` guard inspects only the Effective capability set (so it passes), and is **skipped entirely when the target runs as uid 0** 6. The `VersionExecutable` fingerprint invokes `fpr_kind_executable` with `process.command_line[0]` — the target's argv[0], read from `/proc/<pid>/cmdline` and **fully controlled by the workload** 7. `fpr_kind_executable` calls `exec.Command(executable, "--version").Output()` — executing the **workload's own binary** inside the workload's mount namespace while **ruid=0 in the host user namespace** The executed process can call `setuid(0)` to restore full root with `CAP_SYS_ADMIN`, and inherits the orphaned cwd which resolves into the extractor container's filesystem containing the host CRI-O socket. ## Affected Code ### 1. Insufficient privilege drop (Rust — extractor coordinator) **File:** `extractor/src/insights_runtime_extractor.rs` ```rust // Lines 139-146 — seteuid-only drop, guard skipped for root containers join_process_namespaces(process.pid)?; change_dir(current_dir); switch_user(*process.uid)?; if *process.uid != 0 { perms::check_no_privileged_perms() .expect("Must not have privileged permissions to run fingerprints"); } fingerprint::run_fingerprints(&config, out_dir, &process); ``` ```rust // Lines 182-185 — only effective UID changed; ruid/suid stay 0 fn switch_user(uid: u32) -> Result<(), ScannerError> { debug!("... Becoming user: {uid}"); seteuid(uid.into()).map_err(|e| ScannerError::Errno(e)) } ``` ### 2. Execution of untrusted binary (Go — fingerprint) **File:** `fingerprints/pkg/utils/file.go` ```go // Lines 75-80 — executes a path taken verbatim from workload's argv[0] func GetExecutableVersionOutput(executable string) (string, error) { out, err := exec.Command(executable, "--version").Output() if err != nil { return "", err } return string(out), nil } ``` ### 3. Workload-controlled path forwarded (Rust — version_executable) **File:** `version_executable.rs` ```rust // Lines 29-34 — workload-controlled command_line[0] forwarded to fingerprint return Some(vec![ fpr_kind_executable, out_dir.to_string(), String::from(&process.command_line[0]), String::from(&version_executable.runtime_kind_name), ]); ``` ## Attack Pattern **Attacker:** Any tenant able to schedule a pod (unprivileged, any namespace) **Victim:** The node running the insights-runtime-extractor DaemonSet **Trigger:** Automatic — the DaemonSet scans all container processes on the node **Attack sequence:** 1. Attacker creates a pod whose process name matches a configured versioned-executable pattern (`node`, `python`, `python3`, `MainThread`, or contains `java`) 2. The pod's main binary (at the path matching argv[0]) is a malicious executable that calls `setuid(0)` to restore root 3. When the insights operator triggers a scan, the DaemonSet forks, enters the attacker's mount namespace, and executes the attacker's binary with ruid=0 4. The attacker's code regains full root with `CAP_SYS_ADMIN` in the host user namespace 5. The inherited cwd contains the host CRI-O socket → full node compromise | ||||
| CVE-2026-98424 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-15 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: cfg80211: undo netns switch if renaming the wiphy fails Once all the interfaces have been moved, cfg80211_switch_netns() moves the wiphy itself by setting its network namespace and then renaming it, which makes sysfs move it. The rename can fail (but only on allocation failures), leaving things mixed up and hitting the warning there. Ignoring it isn't great, undo the move and let the change fail in this case. If undo fails then WARN, then things would again be stuck in two different network namespaces. | ||||
| CVE-2026-60010 | 2026-10-15 | 6.5 Medium | ||
| Gitea's repository-side team-link API allows a repository administrator who is not an organization owner to attach organization teams to a repository despite RepoAdminChangeTeamAccess being disabled. The endpoint does not enforce the organization's restriction on repository administrators changing team access. This allows unauthorized changes to which organization teams receive repository access. | ||||

Furthermore, __icmp_send() can be invoked from paths (e.g., link failures, ARP errors, forwarding, AF_PACKET) where skb->transport_header was never initialized (~0U). Under CONFIG_DEBUG_NET=y, calling skb_transport_header(skb) triggers DEBUG_NET_WARN_ON_ONCE(!skb_transport_header_was_set(skb)). Fix this by: 1. Only parsing transport info when iph->protocol == IPPROTO_UDP. 2. Using skb_header_pointer() at skb_network_offset(skb) + (iph->ihl << 2) to safely fetch the UDP header without assuming transport_header is set. | ||||
| CVE-2026-109718 | 1 Mozilla | 2 Firefox, Thunderbird | 2026-10-15 | 5.4 Medium |
| Use-after-free in the XML component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 158, Firefox ESR 115.43, Firefox ESR 153.5, Thunderbird 158, and Thunderbird 153.5. | ||||
| CVE-2026-109394 | 1 Thirtybees | 1 Thirty Bees | 2026-10-15 | 7.4 High |
| Thirty bees through 1.7.0 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability in PasswordController::resolveCustomer() that allows unauthenticated attackers to reset registered customers' passwords using guest account tokens. Attackers can place a guest order with the victim's email, then use the guest secure key to reset and take over the victim's account when guest checkout is enabled. | ||||
| CVE-2026-109371 | 1 Zitadel | 1 Zitadel | 2026-10-15 | 8.2 High |
| ZITADEL 3.0.0 before 4.18.0 contains a missing authentication vulnerability in the hosted Login V1 UI, where the change-username handler acts on the account bound to a login flow before any factor is verified. Unauthenticated attackers can submit a victim's login name and then post a new username to rename any active human user, including administrators, locking them out. | ||||
| CVE-2026-109362 | 1 Heymrun | 1 Heym | 2026-10-15 | 5.4 Medium |
| Heym v0.0.5 before v0.0.113 contains a broken access control vulnerability that allows former collaborators to keep executing JWT-auth workflows by reusing scoped workflow:execute tokens after share removal. Attackers can mint a token with a TTL up to 10 years, which the owner cannot list or revoke, and repeatedly run the workflow consuming shared credentials. | ||||
| CVE-2026-109357 | 1 Librenms | 1 Librenms | 2026-10-15 | 8.1 High |
| LibreNMS before 26.9.0 contains an LDAP filter injection in ldap-authorization and ad-authorization modes because usernames are inserted unescaped into LDAP search filters and authentication only checks user existence. When REMOTE_USER is not forwarded, unauthenticated attackers can send a wildcard username via HTTP Basic Authorization (PHP_AUTH_USER) to match all users and groups and gain admin access. | ||||
| CVE-2026-109352 | 1 Librenms | 1 Librenms | 2026-10-15 | 6.1 Medium |
| LibreNMS before 26.9.0 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in includes/html/pages/device/wireless.inc.php, which echoes wireless sensor sensor_descr values, populated from SNMP DisplayString fields during discovery, into HTML without escaping. Attackers controlling a monitored device's SNMP agent can set values such as AI-AP-MIB::aiSSID to malicious JavaScript that executes when authenticated users view the device's Wireless tab, enabling session hijacking. | ||||
| CVE-2026-109347 | 1 Adminer | 1 Adminer | 2026-10-15 | 7.2 High |
| Adminer before 6.1.1 contains a remote code execution vulnerability that allows authenticated SQLite users to bypass ATTACH and VACUUM INTO restrictions by prefixing statements with a UTF-8 byte-order mark. Attackers can attach a database file at a PHP-served path and create a table named with PHP code to execute it as the web server user. | ||||
| CVE-2026-109342 | 1 Surrealdb | 1 Surrealdb | 2026-10-15 | 5.4 Medium |
| SurrealDB from 3.0.0 before 3.3.0 contains a missing authentication vulnerability in the revoke RPC method that allows low-privileged or unauthenticated callers to invalidate other users' refresh tokens without proof of possession. Attackers can obtain grant identifiers via ACCESS SHOW ALL with VIEWER permission or leaked tokens, then permanently revoke refresh tokens to force re-authentication. | ||||
| CVE-2026-109337 | 1 Surrealdb | 1 Surrealdb | 2026-10-15 | 4.3 Medium |
| SurrealDB before 3.3.0 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability that allows record users to infer field values hidden by field-level SELECT permissions using LIVE SELECT WHERE predicates over $before or $after. Attackers can craft repeated predicates and observe whether notifications are delivered on CREATE, UPDATE, or DELETE to confirm or narrow restricted field values. | ||||
| CVE-2026-109332 | 1 Network-ai | 1 Network-ai | 2026-10-15 | 3.1 Low |
| Network-AI (npm network-ai) before 5.15.2 contains an origin validation error in McpSseServer._handleRequest in lib/mcp-transport-sse.ts that reflects localhost Origins into Access-Control-Allow-Origin regardless of bind interface. When the server binds a non-loopback address, an attacker page with a localhost Origin visited by a victim can read unauthenticated endpoints like /health cross-origin. | ||||
