CVE-2026-76988 1 Liftoff-sr 1 Cipster 2026-08-20 5.3 Medium
A weakness has been identified in liftoff-sr CIPster 1802525be27d33e19a9a83c163e331a1d13b1892. This affects the function CipConnMgrClass::forward_open of the file cipconnectionmanager.cc of the component ForwardOpen Handler. Executing a manipulation of the argument product_code_ can lead to out-of-bounds read. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks. This patch is called ea870a274bf68dfaa3f511f20e2fff6778fb7b74. A patch should be applied to remediate this issue.
CVE-2026-52834 1 Tirr-c 2 Jxl-grid, Jxl-oxide 2026-08-20 7.3 High
jxl-oxide is a pure Rust implementation of a JPEG XL decoder. Prior to jxl-grid 0.6.2, decoding a crafted JPEG XL image on a 32-bit platform can overflow length calculations in AlignedGrid::with_alloc_tracker and related grid and subgrid arithmetic. A 65536 x 65536 frame can pass the frame-area limit while overflowing the usize element count, causing modular, VarDCT, or filter rendering paths to allocate a backing buffer smaller than the logical grid. A tiny bitstream-controlled cropped frame combined with a huge canvas or requested region can also reach the vulnerable composition path in crates/jxl-render/src/blend.rs through ordinary render_frame(). Later mutable subgrid and raw-pointer operations can then perform attacker-controlled out-of-bounds writes, causing memory corruption, denial of service, or arbitrary code execution. This issue is fixed in jxl-grid version 0.6.2.

CVE-2026-14587 1 Neo4j 3 Community Edition, Enterprise Edition, Neo4j 2026-08-19 7.5 High
Neo4j's Bolt modern handshake decoder treats an overlong capability bit mask the same way it treats a truncated bit mask. When an unauthenticated client sends a selected protocol version followed by 32 continuation bytes in the capability mask, the decoder resets the reader index and waits for more bytes instead of rejecting the protocol message and closing the channel. Because the same unread bytes remain at the front of the decoder buffer, appending a terminating byte later does not recover the connection. The decoder re-reads the same first 32 continuation bytes, returns without producing a handshake-finalization message, and leaves the channel open. This can be triggered before authentication by any client that can reach the Bolt connector.
CVE-2026-20348 1 Cisco 1 Secure Endpoint 2026-08-19 7.5 High
A vulnerability in the XAR file format parser of ClamAV could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause a DoS condition or possibly other expanded impacts as a result of memory corruption on an affected device. This vulnerability is due to improper boundary checks for content in XAR files during scanning. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by submitting a crafted file that contains XAR content to be scanned by ClamAV on an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the ClamAV scanning process to terminate, resulting in a DoS condition on the affected software.
CVE-2026-59088 2 Gimp, Redhat 2 Gimp, Enterprise Linux 2026-08-19 5.5 Medium
A flaw was found in GIMP. A signed integer overflow vulnerability exists in the `file-fli` plugin when processing FLI image files. This occurs due to an incorrect calculation during memory allocation for image buffers, where the multiplication of image width and height can exceed the maximum integer value. A remote attacker could exploit this by tricking a user into opening a specially crafted FLI file, leading to the application crashing and resulting in a denial of service.
CVE-2026-62682 1 Orval-labs 1 Orval 2026-08-19 N/A
Orval generates type-safe JavaScript clients in TypeScript from OpenAPI v3 and Swagger v2 specifications. Prior to 8.21.0, an unescaped backtick in servers[0].url is emitted into request URL template literals generated when output.baseUrl.getBaseUrlFromSpecification is enabled without safe encoding. This permits attacker-controlled JavaScript to be evaluated when a generated request or URL-builder function is called, resulting in code execution in the developer, CI, test, or application environment. The affected code is packages/core/src/getters/route.ts function getFullRoute. This issue is fixed in version 8.21.0.
CVE-2026-33327 1 Libvips 1 Libvips 2026-08-19 7.8 High
libvips is a fast image processing library with low memory needs. The `vipsload` operation in versions before and including 8.18.0 could incorrectly determine image dimensions leading to an integer overflow and a subsequent heap-based buffer overflow. This has been patched in version 8.18.1.
CVE-2026-33328 1 Libvips 1 Libvips 2026-08-19 5.5 Medium
libvips is a fast image processing library with low memory needs. On 32-bit systems in versions before and including 8.18.0, the `gifload` operation could incorrectly determine dimensions leading to an integer overflow. This has been patched in version 8.18.1.
CVE-2026-45741 1 Gotenberg 1 Gotenberg 2026-08-19 7.5 High
Gotenberg is a Docker-powered stateless API for PDF files. In 8.32.0 and earlier, the IsPublicIP function in pkg/gotenberg/outbound.go does not reject the 2002::/16 6to4 prefix, the 64:ff9b::/96 and 64:ff9b:1::/48 NAT64 prefixes, the fec0::/10 deprecated site-local prefix, Teredo, and other transition prefixes that can embed or route to non-public IPv4 destinations. The addr.Unmap operation only handles IPv4-mapped IPv6 addresses, so a crafted DNS AAAA record can cause the outbound HTTP client to treat an address wrapping an internal destination such as 169.254.169.254 as public. An unauthenticated attacker can use a conversion route with WithDenyPrivateIPs enabled to reach cloud metadata services, and the Chromium URL conversion route can return the internal response as a PDF, potentially exposing cloud credentials. Exploitation requires a deployment whose host routes the relevant IPv6 prefix, such as a dual-stack or NAT64-enabled environment. This issue is fixed in version 8.33.0.
CVE-2026-35590 1 Libvips 1 Libvips 2026-08-19 5.5 Medium
libvips is a fast image processing library with low memory needs. The EXIF decoder within libvips versions before and including 8.18.1 was not verifying the range of EXIF tag groups before passing data to libexif, leading to a possible null pointer dereference and crash. This has been patched in version 8.18.2.
CVE-2026-35591 1 Libvips 1 Libvips 2026-08-19 7.8 High
libvips is a fast image processing library with low memory needs. The `tiffload` operation in libvips versions before and including 8.18.1 could incorrectly determine the number of channels in a JPEG or JPEG2000-encoded tile within a TIFF image, leading to a possible buffer overflow. This has been patched in version 8.18.2.
CVE-2026-34118 1 Tp-link 3 Tapo C520ws, Tapo C520ws Firmware, Tapo C520ws V2 2026-08-19 6.5 Medium
A heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability was identified in TP-Link Tapo C100/C101 v5, C520WS v2.6 in the HTTP POST body parsing logic due to missing validation of remaining buffer capacity after dynamic allocation, due to insufficient boundary validation when handling externally supplied HTTP input.   An attacker on the same network segment could trigger heap memory corruption conditions by sending crafted payloads that cause write operations beyond allocated buffer boundaries.  Successful exploitation causes a Denial-of-Service (DoS) condition, causing the device’s process to crash or become unresponsive.
CVE-2026-71868 1 Orval-labs 1 Orval 2026-08-19 N/A
Orval generates type-safe JavaScript clients in TypeScript from OpenAPI v3 and Swagger v2 specifications. Prior to 8.21.0, a ${...} expression or backtick in an enum default is emitted into a module-level template literal emitted by zod schema generation without safe encoding. This permits attacker-controlled JavaScript to be evaluated when the generated zod schema module is imported, resulting in code execution in the developer, CI, test, or application environment. The affected code is packages/zod/src/index.ts function formatDefaultValue. This issue is fixed in version 8.21.0.
CVE-2026-52889 1 Verbb 1 Formie 2026-08-19 9.8 Critical
Formie is a Craft CMS plugin for creating forms. Prior to 3.1.27, Formie can pass request-derived Hidden field defaults such as HTTP User Agent, Referer URL, Current URL, Current URL without Query String, Query Parameter, and Cookie Value to Craft's Twig rendering layer during front-end form rendering. An unauthenticated attacker can place Twig syntax in one of these request-controlled inputs when a public form contains an affected Hidden field. Hidden::getFrontEndInputOptions() then assigns the value to defaultValue and calls renderString, causing server-side template evaluation rather than treating the request data as a plain string. Depending on the Craft site configuration and available Twig capabilities, exploitation can disclose sensitive information, modify application state, or achieve remote code execution. This issue is fixed in version 3.1.27.
CVE-2026-74567 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-19 7.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: keys: fix out-of-bounds read in keyring_get_key_chunk() For description-level chunks keyring_get_key_chunk() advances the read pointer by level * sizeof(long) past the inline prefix but only bounds-checks the prefix, so a long enough key description is read past its kmemdup(desc, desc_len + 1) allocation. Compute the full byte offset and bounds-check the description against it before reading. The walk only reaches a description-level chunk when two keys collide through the hash, x, type and domain_tag chunks, so this is reached from an unprivileged add_key(2) with a crafted pair of same-type keys whose index hashes collide; KASAN reports a slab-out-of-bounds read.
CVE-2026-74556 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-19 9.8 Critical
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: libiscsi_tcp: Bound SCSI Response data segment to the connection buffer iscsi_tcp_hdr_dissect() receives the data segment of several PDU types into the fixed-size conn->data buffer, which is allocated for ISCSI_DEF_MAX_RECV_SEG_LEN (8192) bytes. For the LOGIN_RSP, TEXT_RSP, REJECT and ASYNC_EVENT opcodes the dissect path already rejects a PDU whose DataSegmentLength exceeds that buffer. The SCSI Command Response (ISCSI_OP_SCSI_CMD_RSP) path also copies its data segment (sense/response data) into conn->data via iscsi_tcp_data_recv_prep(), but it does so without the same check. The only upstream bound on in.datalen is conn->max_recv_dlength, the initiator's advertised MaxRecvDataSegmentLength, which is commonly negotiated well above 8192 (open-iscsi defaults to 262144). A target that returns a SCSI Response with a DataSegmentLength between 8193 and max_recv_dlength therefore overflows the 8192-byte conn->data buffer. Once the same bound applies, ISCSI_OP_SCSI_CMD_RSP is handled exactly like those responses: bound the data segment, receive it into conn->data when present, and otherwise complete the PDU with no data. Fold the opcode into that case group rather than duplicating the check.
CVE-2026-74553 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-19 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (nct6775-core) Fix number of temperature registers for NCT6116 Unlike NCT6106, NCT6116 only has three temperature registers, and with it only three temperature source and temperature source configuration registers. The register addresses match those of NCT6106 and can be re-used. The code used a separate array to list the temperature source registers for NCT6116, but used the size of the NCT6106 register array to set the number of registers. The NCT6106 register array provides six addresses, while the temperature source register array for NCT6116 only provides three addresses. This causes a KASAN report. BUG: KASAN: global-out-of-bounds in nct6775_probe+0x936/0x46f0 [nct6775] Read of size 2 at addr ffffffffc19561a6 by task modprobe/954 ... Fix the problem by hard-coding the number of temperature and temperature configuration registers to three for NCT6116. Drop the unnecessary NCT6116_REG_TEMP_SOURCE array and re-use NCT6106_REG_TEMP_SOURCE.
