CVSS v3.1 |
| Nix before 2.35.3, when unsandboxed on macOS or FreeBSD, incorrectly allows connections made by build users from daemon clients. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: qrtr: restrict socket creation to the initial network namespace
QRTR keeps its entire port and node state in module-global variables
that are not partitioned per network namespace: qrtr_local_nid is a
single global node id (always 1) and qrtr_ports is a single global
xarray. qrtr_port_lookup() and qrtr_local_enqueue() operate on that
global state with no network-namespace check, and qrtr_create() places
no restriction on the namespace a socket is created in.
As a result an unprivileged process that creates an AF_QIPCRTR socket
in a separate network namespace, e.g. via
unshare(CLONE_NEWUSER | CLONE_NEWNET), can send QRTR datagrams -
including control-plane messages such as QRTR_TYPE_NEW_SERVER - to QRTR
sockets owned by another namespace, and vice versa. The receiving
socket sees such a message as coming from node id 1, indistinguishable
from a legitimate local client, breaking the isolation that network
namespaces are expected to provide.
QRTR is a transport to global hardware endpoints (the modem and other
remote processors) and has no per-namespace semantics; its in-kernel
name service already creates its socket in init_net only. Confine the
socket family to the initial network namespace, as other
non-namespace-aware socket families do (see llc_ui_create() and the
ieee802154 socket code). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ip6: vti: Use ip6_tnl.net in vti6_siocdevprivate().
After patch 1/2 in this series, vti6_update() unlinks and relinks
the tunnel through t->net. vti6_siocdevprivate() still uses
dev_net(dev) for the collision lookup. For a tunnel moved through
IFLA_NET_NS_FD, dev_net(dev) is the new netns, not t->net.
SIOCCHGTUNNEL on a migrated tunnel then runs:
net = dev_net(dev) /* migrated netns */
t = vti6_locate(net, &p1, false) /* misses target in t->net */
...
t = netdev_priv(dev)
vti6_update(t, &p1, false) /* mutates t->net's hash */
A caller in the migrated netns picks params that match a tunnel
in the creation netns. The lookup in dev_net(dev) finds nothing.
vti6_update() prepends the migrated tunnel at the head of the
creation netns hash bucket for those params. Later lookups in
the creation netns resolve to the migrated device. xfrm receive
delivers the matched packets through a device the caller controls.
Reachable from an unprivileged user namespace (unshare --user
--map-root-user --net). Cross tenant scope on container hosts.
Switch the SIOCCHGTUNNEL path on a non fallback device to use
t->net for the lookup. The lookup now matches the netns
vti6_update() operates on.
Also add ns_capable(self->net->user_ns, CAP_NET_ADMIN) before
the lookup. The check at the top of the case is against
dev_net(dev)->user_ns, which after migration is the attacker's
netns. A caller there can pick params absent from self->net,
the lookup returns NULL, t becomes self, and vti6_update()
inserts the device into the creation netns hash. The new check
requires CAP_NET_ADMIN in the creation netns user_ns too.
SIOCADDTUNNEL and SIOCCHGTUNNEL on the fallback device keep
dev_net(dev), which equals init_net there. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
x86/CPU/AMD: Prevent improper isolation of shared resources in Zen2's op cache
Make sure resources are not improperly shared in the op cache and
cause instruction corruption this way. |
| An improper isolation or compartmentalization vulnerability has been reported to affect Notes Station 3. If a local attacker gains an administrator account, they can then exploit the vulnerability to compromise the security of the system.
We have already fixed the vulnerability in the following version:
Notes Station 3 3.9.11 and later |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netfilter: nf_conntrack_expect: skip expectations in other netns via proc
Skip expectations that do not reside in this netns.
Similar to e77e6ff502ea ("netfilter: conntrack: do not dump other netns's
conntrack entries via proc"). |
| Astron Agent is an agentic workflow platform for building and running AI agents. Prior to 1.1.2, the default workflow code-node path through /console-api/workflow/code/run and /workflow/v1/run selects LocalExecutor in core/workflow/engine/nodes/code/code_node.py when CODE_EXEC_TYPE is not explicitly changed. LocalExecutor supplies complete Python builtins to dynamic code execution without the documented sandbox restrictions. An authenticated low-privilege tenant can execute code as root in the core-workflow container and use shared service and database credentials to bypass application-level tenant checks, read or modify other tenants' data, and disrupt shared services. This issue is fixed in version 1.1.2. |
| Sandbox escape due to incorrect boundary conditions in the Widget: Win32 component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 158, Firefox ESR 153.5, Thunderbird 158, and Thunderbird 153.5. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
seg6: set IPSKB_L3SLAVE from IP6SKB_L3SLAVE on IPIP decapsulation
When an SRv6 packet arrives on an interface enslaved to a VRF,
vrf_ip6_rcv() sets IP6SKB_L3SLAVE in IP6CB, but decap_and_validate()
has never set IPSKB_L3SLAVE in IPCB. The bit stayed clear in the
common case, and with CONFIG_IPV6_MIP6 the leftover frag_max_size of
a reassembled outer packet could even set it, with no VRF involved.
Commit 44930446dde4 ("ipv6: seg6: clear IPv4 control block on IPIP
decapsulation") then made the unreliable bit reliably clear.
The effect of the missing flag is visible with End.DX4 when a
delivery to a local address of the node reaches the socket lookup.
For example, a UDP socket bound to the enslaved ingress interface
does not receive any of the decapsulated packets, while an unbound
socket outside the VRF does.
This contradicts Documentation/networking/vrf.rst: by default the
scope of an unbound UDP or TCP socket is limited to the default VRF.
Set IPSKB_L3SLAVE for IPv4 in decap_and_validate(), which already does
the same for IPv6. The socket lookup then matches the decapsulated
packet like any other packet received on that enslaved interface. Such
a packet matches an unbound UDP or TCP socket only when
udp_l3mdev_accept or tcp_l3mdev_accept is set. |
| A vulnerability in the Python interpreter of Cisco NX-OS Software could allow an authenticated, local attacker with low privileges to escape the Python sandbox and gain unauthorized access to the underlying operating system of an affected device.
This vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by manipulating specific functions within the Python interpreter. A successful exploit could allow an attacker to escape the Python sandbox and execute arbitrary commands on the underlying operating system with the privileges of the authenticated user. |
| Missing authorization in SiteIsolation in Google Chrome prior to 155.0.8059.39 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to bypass site isolation via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium) |
| Incorrect authorization in Accessibility in Google Chrome prior to 155.0.8059.39 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to bypass site isolation via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium) |
| Ghost is a Node.js content management system. From version 6.34.0 until 6.67.0, embed cards in the Ghost editor could bypass protections against stored cross-site scripting. Any staff user, including Contributors, could store scripts in post content that ran when another staff user opened the post in the editor, potentially compromising that user’s admin session. Self-hosted sites should leave the new security.embedPreviewUrl configuration option at its default value. This issue is fixed in version 6.67.0. |
| The sandbox that isolates document conversion on a Kiteworks appliance did not fully confine the code running inside it. Code already executing within that sandbox could potentially escape its confinement and act with the privileges of the service account that runs the application, which could allow an attacker in that position to read or modify application data and configuration, or to disrupt the service on the affected appliance. |
| In sshd in OpenSSH through 10.6, use of the macOS 27 (or later) SDK has the side effect of loss of sandboxing, which is potentially unexpected. |
| Privilege escalation due to incorrect boundary conditions in the Graphics: CanvasWebGL component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 156, Firefox ESR 115.41, Firefox ESR 140.16, Firefox ESR 153.3, Thunderbird 156, Thunderbird 140.16, and Thunderbird 153.3. |
| Site isolation issue in the Reader Mode component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 156, Firefox ESR 153.3, Thunderbird 156, and Thunderbird 153.3. |
| Sandbox escape in the Profile Backup component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 156 and Thunderbird 156. |
| Site isolation issue in the Graphics component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 156 and Thunderbird 156. |
