CVE-2026-46266 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-02 9.1 Critical
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: inet: RAW sockets using IPPROTO_RAW MUST drop incoming ICMP Yizhou Zhao reported that simply having one RAW socket on protocol IPPROTO_RAW (255) was dangerous. socket(AF_INET, SOCK_RAW, 255); A malicious incoming ICMP packet can set the protocol field to 255 and match this socket, leading to FNHE cache changes. inner = IP(src="192.168.2.1", dst="8.8.8.8", proto=255)/Raw("TEST") pkt = IP(src="192.168.1.1", dst="192.168.2.1")/ICMP(type=3, code=4, nexthopmtu=576)/inner "man 7 raw" states: A protocol of IPPROTO_RAW implies enabled IP_HDRINCL and is able to send any IP protocol that is specified in the passed header. Receiving of all IP protocols via IPPROTO_RAW is not possible using raw sockets. Make sure we drop these malicious packets.
CVE-2026-82741 1 Ash-project 1 Ash 2026-09-01 N/A
Improper Validation of Specified Type of Input vulnerability in ash-project ash lets an attacker confuse the stored type tag of an Ash.Type.Union value that uses storage: :map_with_tag, bypassing that member's validation and any tag-based authorization. For a union with storage: :map_with_tag, each member is identified in storage by a configured tag and tag_value. Ash.Type.Union.dump_to_native/2 (lib/ash/type/union.ex) did not force the configured tag when writing the value, so a tag carried in the submitted value was persisted verbatim. An attacker can therefore store a value whose data belongs to one member but whose tag names a different member. On read the value is re-selected by its tag and treated as the incompatible member (a type confusion), bypassing the real member's constraints and any logic or policy that branches on the union tag. The fix drops any incoming tag and forces the configured tag value on dump. This issue affects ash: from 2.14.18 before 3.32.2.
CVE-2026-59680 1 Suse 1 Yast2-users 2026-09-01 8 High
An OS command injection vulnerability was found in yast2-users. When displaying the "Password Settings" tab of a user, get_password_term() in src/include/users/dialogs.rb read the shadowLastChange and shadowExpire fields with GetString(), which performs no numeric validation, and passed the resulting string to format_days_after_epoch(). That helper interpolated the value into a shell command executed via Ruby backticks without quoting or escaping. Impact: an administrator who manages users against an external/federated LDAP directory via `yast2 users` triggers root command execution the moment they view or edit that particular user's "Password Settings" tab. No "join domain" or trust setup is required, just browsing/editing one user entry. This issue affects yast2-users through 5.0.8.
CVE-2026-17113 1 Redhat 1 Openshift 2026-08-27 6 Medium
A flaw was found in CRI-O's container-creation environment-variable handling (`mergeEnvs` in `server/utils.go`, consumed by `setupContainerEnvironmentAndWorkdir` in `server/container_create.go`). When a `CreateContainer` request supplies a `nil` CRI `Envs` field, CRI-O falls back to using the target OCI image's `config.Env` entries unfiltered, in contrast to the normal merge path, which validates each entry for a `key=value` form before use. An OCI image whose `config.Env` contains an entry with no `=` character (e.g. a bare `NOEQUALS` string) causes CRI-O to split that entry into a single-element slice and then index its second element, which is out of range. This triggers an unrecovered Go runtime panic in the `crio` daemon process, crashing it and terminating the container-runtime service for all workloads on the node until it is restarted.
CVE-2026-5946 2 Isc, Redhat 3 Bind, Bind 9, Hummingbird 2026-08-27 7.5 High
Multiple flaws have been identified in `named` related to the handling of DNS messages whose CLASS is not Internet (`IN`) — for example, `CHAOS` or `HESIOD`, or DNS messages that specify meta-classes (`ANY` or `NONE`) in the question section. Specially crafted requests reaching the affected code paths — recursion, dynamic updates (`UPDATE`), zone change notifications (`NOTIFY`), or processing of `IN`-specific record types in non-`IN` data — can cause assertion failures in `named`. This issue affects BIND 9 versions 9.11.0 through 9.16.50, 9.18.0 through 9.18.48, 9.20.0 through 9.20.22, 9.21.0 through 9.21.21, 9.11.3-S1 through 9.16.50-S1, 9.18.11-S1 through 9.18.48-S1, and 9.20.9-S1 through 9.20.22-S1.
CVE-2026-80051 1 Graphql-go Project 1 Graphql-go 2026-08-25 N/A
github.com/graphql-go/graphql (GraphQL for Go) through 0.8.1 does not validate that a scalar variable value matches its declared type. The built-in coerceString and coerceBool functions (scalars.go) accept input whose type does not match the declared String, ID, or Boolean scalar instead of raising the request error that the GraphQL specification mandates. In some cases (but not any typical case of JSON sent to a website), a deeply nested value leads to an unrecoverable "fatal error: stack overflow" condition.
CVE-2026-72294 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-22 8.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: LoongArch: KVM: Check irq validity in kvm_vcpu_ioctl_interrupt() Function kvm_vcpu_ioctl_interrupt() can be called from userspace, here add irq validility cheking in kvm_vcpu_ioctl_interrupt().
CVE-2026-72360 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-22 8.4 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/xe/pf: Don't attempt to process FAST_REQ or EVENT relays Currently defined VF/PF relay actions use regular REQUEST messages only and the PF shouldn't attempt to handle FAST_REQUEST nor EVENT messages as this would result in breaking the VFPF ABI protocol and also might trigger an assert on the PF side. CVE-2026-44249 1 Netty 1 Netty 2026-08-20 8.1 High
Netty is a network application framework for development of protocol servers and clients. In netty-handler prior to versions 4.1.135.Final and 4.2.15.Final, an attacker can bypass IPv6 subnet rules due to an incorrect masking operation in IpSubnetFilterRule.compareTo(). Valid public IP addresses can bypass the restrictions. Versions 4.1.135.Final and 4.2.15.Final patch the issue.
CVE-2026-20498 2 Mediatek, Mediatek, Inc. 21 Mt6991, Mt6991 Firmware, Mt8768 and 18 more 2026-08-19 6 Medium
In geniezone, there is a possible escalation of privilege due to a missing permission check. This could lead to local escalation of privilege if a malicious actor has already obtained the System privilege. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. Patch ID: ALPS10900493; Issue ID: MSV-6765.
CVE-2026-2092 1 Redhat 2 Build Keycloak, Build Of Keycloak 2026-08-18 7.7 High
A flaw was found in Keycloak. Keycloak's Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) broker endpoint does not properly validate encrypted assertions when the overall SAML response is not signed. An attacker with a valid signed SAML assertion can exploit this by crafting a malicious SAML response. This allows the attacker to inject an encrypted assertion for an arbitrary principal, leading to unauthorized access and potential information disclosure.
CVE-2026-68455 1 Linux 2 Kernel, Linux Kernel 2026-08-18 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: liveupdate: validate session type before performing operation The sessions ioctls are not applicable to all session types. PRESERVE_FD is only applicable to outgoing sessions. RETRIEVE_FD and FINISH are only valid for incoming session. Calling a incoming ioctl on an outgoing session is invalid and can cause file handlers to run into unexpected errors. For example, a user can create a (outgoing) session, preserve a memfd, and then immediately do a retrieve without doing a kexec in between. This would result in memfd's retrieve handler to run. The handlers expects to be called from a post-kexec context, and will try to do a kho_restore_vmalloc() or kho_restore_folio() to try and restore memory. KHO catches this (thanks to KHO_PAGE_MAGIC) and returns an error, but since this is considered an internal error and KHO throws out a bunch of WARN()s. Associate a type with each ioctl op and validate the type in luo_session_ioctl() before dispatching the ioctl handler to make sure the op is being called for the right session type.
CVE-2026-72078 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-18 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Input: ims-pcu - validate control endpoint type The driver currently assumes that the first endpoint of the control interface is an interrupt IN endpoint without verifying it. A malicious device could provide a different endpoint type, which would then be passed to usb_fill_int_urb(), potentially leading to kernel warnings or undefined behavior. Verify that the control endpoint is an interrupt IN endpoint.
CVE-2026-74294 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-17 7.3 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ASoC: meson: aiu: Validate written enum values The AIU HDMI and internal codec mux put callbacks use the written enum value with snd_soc_enum_item_to_val() before checking whether the value is valid for the enumeration. Reject out-of-range values before converting the enum item, matching the validation already done by the G12A HDMI and internal codec mux controls.
CVE-2026-45923 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-14 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: usb: catc: enable basic endpoint checking catc_probe() fills three URBs with hardcoded endpoint pipes without verifying the endpoint descriptors: - usb_sndbulkpipe(usbdev, 1) and usb_rcvbulkpipe(usbdev, 1) for TX/RX - usb_rcvintpipe(usbdev, 2) for interrupt status A malformed USB device can present these endpoints with transfer types that differ from what the driver assumes. Add a catc_usb_ep enum for endpoint numbers, replacing magic constants throughout. Add usb_check_bulk_endpoints() and usb_check_int_endpoints() calls after usb_set_interface() to verify endpoint types before use, rejecting devices with mismatched descriptors at probe time. Similar to - commit 90b7f2961798 ("net: usb: rtl8150: enable basic endpoint checking") which fixed the issue in rtl8150.

CVE-2024-20494 1 Cisco 3 Adaptive Security Appliance Software, Firepower Threat Defense Software, Secure Firewall Threat Defense 2026-08-11 8.6 High
A vulnerability in the TLS cryptography functionality of Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software and Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause the device to reload unexpectedly, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition. This vulnerability is due to improper data validation during the TLS 1.3 handshake. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted TLS 1.3 packet to an affected system through a TLS 1.3-enabled listening socket. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the device to reload, resulting in a DoS condition. Note: This vulnerability can also impact the integrity of a device by causing VPN HostScan communication failures or file transfer failures when Cisco ASA Software is upgraded using Cisco Adaptive Security Device Manager (ASDM).
CVE-2024-20408 1 Cisco 2 Adaptive Security Appliance Software, Secure Firewall Threat Defense 2026-08-11 7.7 High
A vulnerability in the Dynamic Access Policies (DAP) feature of Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software and Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) Software could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to cause an affected device to reload unexpectedly. To exploit this vulnerability, an attacker would need valid remote access VPN user credentials on the affected device. This vulnerability is due to improper validation of data in HTTPS POST requests. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted HTTPS POST request to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the device to reload, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition.
CVE-2026-5304 1 Axis Communications Ab 1 Axis Os 2026-08-11 5.7 Medium
An ACAP configuration file lacks input validation, which could potentially lead to privilege escalation. This vulnerability can only be exploited if the Axis device is configured to allow the installation of unsigned ACAP applications, and if an attacker convinces the victim to install a malicious ACAP application.
CVE-2026-67864 1 Open62541 1 Open62541 2026-08-06 7.5 High
