| CVE-2026-112953 | 1 Apostrophecms | 2 Apostrophecms, Import-export | 2026-10-20 | N/A |
| ApostropheCMS is an open-source Node.js content management system. Prior to 3.7.1 of the import-export module, predictable export archive filenames allow an unauthenticated requester to download another user's export from publicly readable export storage before the archive expires or is removed. A user with export permission must first create the archive, and sites with exports disabled, private upload storage, or authenticated upload delivery are not exposed through this network-download path. This issue is fixed in version 3.7.1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-112955 | 1 Apostrophecms | 2 Apostrophecms, Import-export | 2026-10-20 | 6.5 Medium |
| ApostropheCMS is an open-source Node.js content management system. Prior to 3.7.1 of the import-export module, an authenticated importer can submit archives whose decompressed bytes, entry count, and entry sizes are not bounded before document-type authorization, and extraction or parsing failures can leave staging and extracted artifacts without unconditional cleanup. The already-hardened pre-authentication and write-error paths are separate, and current end-to-end denial-of-service impact from this residual path remains subject to maintainer validation. This issue is fixed in version 3.7.1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-112956 | 1 Apostrophecms | 2 Apostrophecms, Import-export | 2026-10-20 | 6.5 Medium |
| ApostropheCMS is an open-source Node.js content management system. Prior to 3.7.1 of the import-export module, duplicate-import continuation accepts client-controlled replacement choices without binding them to a user-owned server-side analysis or authorizing the canonical target. On an import-enabled localized type, a contributor with draft editing authority can cross the publication boundary by selecting a published document for replacement, although the current assessment is based on remediation review rather than a repeated end-to-end reproduction. This issue is fixed in version 3.7.1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-113648 | 1 Apostrophecms | 2 Apostrophecms, Import-export | 2026-10-20 | 3.1 Low |
| ApostropheCMS is an open-source Node.js content management system. Prior to 3.7.1 of the import-export module, the API endpoint POST /api/v1/@apostrophecms/import-export/clean-export in @apostrophecms/import-export lacks authentication and authorization checks. Any client—including unauthenticated anonymous users who have obtained the standard CSRF cookie from visiting the site—can directly invoke this route and trigger the underlying self.cleanExport(req) method. This issue is fixed in version 3.7.1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-113649 | 1 Apostrophecms | 2 Apostrophecms, Import-export | 2026-10-20 | 6.5 Medium |
| ApostropheCMS is an open-source Node.js content management system. Prior to 3.7.1 of the import-export module and 4.34.0 of core ApostropheCMS, an editor who can import an enabled content type but lacks its stronger publication role can cause import write helpers to create, replace, or remove published variants without the normal publish permission and lifecycle checks. This issue is fixed in import-export 3.7.1 and ApostropheCMS 4.34.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-113662 | 1 Apostrophecms | 2 Apostrophecms, Import-export | 2026-10-20 | 5.4 Medium |
| ApostropheCMS is an open-source Node.js content management system. Prior to 3.7.0 of the import-export module, an authenticated user with import access to a target type can supply an object or operator as an update-key value, causing the import query to match an unidentified existing document that the user has generic edit permission to modify. The normal findForEditing permission filter still limits the candidate documents, so the issue does not permit permission-free overwrite of arbitrary protected content. This issue is fixed in version 3.7.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-113664 | 1 Apostrophecms | 2 Apostrophecms, Import-export | 2026-10-20 | N/A |
| ApostropheCMS is an open-source Node.js content management system. Prior to 3.7.0 of the import-export module, an authenticated importer can submit a tar entry whose normalized destination targets a directory while bypassing the literal parent-path substring guard. Opening that directory as a write stream emits an unhandled filesystem error that can terminate the Node.js process; the source establishes this static primitive but not an end-to-end exploit or controlled arbitrary file read or write. This issue is fixed in version 3.7.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-113711 | 1 Apostrophecms | 2 Apostrophecms, Import-export | 2026-10-20 | 7.5 High |
| ApostropheCMS is an open-source Node.js content management system. Prior to 4.33.0 of ApostropheCMS and 3.7.0 of the import-export module, import routes invoke bigUploadMiddleware without an early authorize callback, allowing unauthenticated requests to perform upload initialization, chunk storage, temporary processing, and attacker-declared cleanup work before the later user check rejects the import. This issue is fixed in ApostropheCMS 4.33.0 and import-export 3.7.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-32731 | 1 Apostrophecms | 1 Import-export | 2026-03-25 | 10 Critical |
| ApostropheCMS is an open-source content management framework. Prior to version 3.5.3 of `@apostrophecms/import-export`, The `extract()` function in `gzip.js` constructs file-write paths using `fs.createWriteStream(path.join(exportPath, header.name))`. `path.join()` does not resolve or sanitise traversal segments such as `../`. It concatenates them as-is, meaning a tar entry named `../../evil.js` resolves to a path outside the intended extraction directory. No canonical-path check is performed before the write stream is opened. This is a textbook Zip Slip vulnerability. Any user who has been granted the Global Content Modify permission — a role routinely assigned to content editors and site managers — can upload a crafted `.tar.gz` file through the standard CMS import UI and write attacker-controlled content to any path the Node.js process can reach on the host filesystem. Version 3.5.3 of `@apostrophecms/import-export` fixes the issue. | ||||
