CVE-2026-55701 1 Opentelemetry 1 Opentelemetry Collector Contrib 2026-09-17 5.3 Medium
The OpenTelemetry Collector Contrib repository contains components for the OpenTelemetry Collector. Prior to 0.151.0, the githubreceiver validates the receiver/githubreceiver/config.go RequiredHeaders configuration at startup, but receiver/githubreceiver/trace_receiver.go handleReq() does not check those headers on incoming webhook requests. An unauthenticated sender can therefore bypass an operator's required_headers authentication control and submit arbitrary webhook payloads. When the Secret field is empty, github.ValidatePayload also skips HMAC validation, leaving the webhook endpoint without either configured authentication mechanism. Successful exploitation can inject fabricated CI/CD trace data into the observability pipeline. This issue is fixed in version 0.151.0.
CVE-2026-24075 1 Qualcomm 1 Snapdragon 2026-09-17 7.8 High
Memory Corruption when multiple threads issue concurrent IOCTL requests to the device control handler due to improper synchronization and race conditions.
CVE-2026-77614 1 Opencast 1 Opencast 2026-09-17 8.8 High
Opencast is a free, open-source platform to support the management of educational audio and video content. Prior to versions 19.7 and 20.2, the default security configuration in etc/security/mh_default_org.xml accepts a client-selected JSESSIONID from the ;jsessionid= URL path parameter and does not replace it when the victim logs in. An unauthenticated attacker can send a crafted link to a victim whose browser has no active Opencast session cookie, wait for the victim to authenticate, and then reuse the known identifier as the victim's authenticated session. This can expose the victim's data and actions and can produce full administrative account takeover when the victim is an administrator. This issue is fixed in versions 19.7 and 20.2.
CVE-2026-12284 1 Mattermost 1 Mattermost 2026-09-17 3.8 Low
Mattermost Desktop App versions <=6.2 6.2.2.0 fails to validate the IPC sender in the leaveCall handler which allows a malicious or compromised Mattermost server (or a user with script access to a connected server view) to disconnect an active call belonging to a different connected server via the desktopAPI.leaveCall IPC message. Mattermost Advisory ID: MMSA-2026-00699
CVE-2026-85715 1 Mattiasw 1 Exifreader 2026-09-17 7.5 High
ExifReader is a JavaScript Exif information parser. Prior to 4.41.1, ExifReader parses attacker-controlled HEIC or AVIF ISO-BMFF files in getItems() within src/image-header-iso-bmff-iloc.js and trusts iloc itemCount and extentCount values while allocating an extent object for every nested-loop iteration. When offsetSize, lengthSize, baseOffsetSize, and indexSize are zero, the extent fields consume no input bytes and the buffer offset does not advance, but the parser can still allocate up to itemCount multiplied by extentCount objects without an allocation budget. A small malicious iloc box can therefore cause hundreds of megabytes of heap growth or exhaust system memory, terminating a Node.js process and denying service to web, desktop, or mobile applications that parse untrusted images. The zero field widths are valid ISO-BMFF values indicating absent fields, so the vulnerable parser must bound work rather than relying on offset advancement. The issue is fixed in version 4.41.1.
CVE-2023-4622 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat 9 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 6 more 2026-09-17 7.8 High
A use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel's af_unix component can be exploited to achieve local privilege escalation. The unix_stream_sendpage() function tries to add data to the last skb in the peer's recv queue without locking the queue. Thus there is a race where unix_stream_sendpage() could access an skb locklessly that is being released by garbage collection, resulting in use-after-free. We recommend upgrading past commit 790c2f9d15b594350ae9bca7b236f2b1859de02c (or backported equivalents).
CVE-2026-20012 1 Cisco 6 Adaptive Security Appliance Software, Cisco:adaptive Security Appliance Software, Ios and 3 more 2026-09-17 8.6 High
A vulnerability in the Internet Key Exchange version 2 (IKEv2) feature of Cisco IOS Software, Cisco IOS XE Software, Cisco Secure Firewall Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software, and Cisco Secure Firewall Threat Defense (FTD) Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to trigger a memory leak, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition on an affected device. This vulnerability is due to improper parsing of IKEv2 packets. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted IKEv2 packets to an affected device. A successful exploit of Cisco IOS Software and IOS XE Software could allow the attacker to cause the affected device to reload, resulting in a DoS condition. A successful exploit of Cisco Secure Firewall ASA Software and Secure FTD Software could allow the attacker to partially exhaust system memory, resulting in system instability, such as the inability to establish new IKEv2 VPN sessions. A manual reboot of the device is required to recover from this condition.
CVE-2025-20359 1 Cisco 4 Cyber Vision, Secure Firewall Threat Defense, Snort and 1 more 2026-09-17 6.5 Medium
Multiple Cisco products are affected by a vulnerability in the Snort 3 HTTP Decoder that could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause the disclosure of possible sensitive data or cause the Snort 3 Detection Engine to crash. This vulnerability is due to an error in the logic of buffer handling when the MIME fields of the HTTP header are parsed. This can result in a buffer under-read. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted HTTP packets through an established connection that is parsed by Snort 3. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to induce one of two possible outcomes: the unexpected restarting of the Snort 3 Detection Engine, which could cause a denial of service (DoS) condition, or information disclosure of sensitive information in the Snort 3 data stream. Due to the under-read condition, it is possible that sensitive information that is not valid connection data could be returned.
CVE-2025-20327 1 Cisco 1 Ios 2026-09-17 7.7 High
A vulnerability in the web UI of Cisco IOS Software could allow an authenticated, remote attacker with low privileges to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition on an affected device. This vulnerability is due to improper input validation. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted URL in an HTTP request. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the affected device to reload, resulting in a DoS condition.
CVE-2026-79419 1 Emxtecnologia 1 Gestao X Business Suite 2026-09-17 8.7 High
A reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in EMX Tecnologia Gestao X Business Suite 8.4 and earlier. The vulnerability is caused by insufficient validation and sanitization of the mensagem parameter in the /Configuracao/Imagens.aspx endpoint, allowing an authenticated attacker to inject arbitrary JavaScript code that is reflected and executed in the context of a victim's browser.
CVE-2026-79418 1 Emxtecnologia 1 Gestao X Business Suite 2026-09-17 8.7 High
EMX Tecnologia Gestao X version <= 8.4 contains a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the Help Chat functionality. Improper neutralization of user-controlled input during web page generation allows authenticated attackers to execute arbitrary JavaScript in the context of other authenticated users, potentially resulting in session hijacking, account takeover, and unauthorized actions.
CVE-2026-93337 2026-09-17 7.8 High
NetworkManager-l2tp contains an improper input validation vulnerability that allows local users with VPN connection creation permissions to inject arbitrary pppd directives by supplying mru or mtu property values containing trailing non-numeric content after a valid integer. Attackers can exploit the verbatim write of unvalidated strings into the pppd options file via write_config_option() to inject the plugin directive, causing the privileged pppd process to load an attacker-controlled shared object and achieve arbitrary code execution as root.
CVE-2026-92932 2026-09-17 N/A
In the MISP sachertortephp library, the Xml::build() static method in lib/Cake/Utility/Xml.php contains a logic error in the conditional that gates network-based XML fetching. The original condition was written as: $options['readFile'] && strpos($input, 'http://') === 0 || strpos($input, 'https://') === 0. Because PHP's && operator has higher precedence than ||, the expression is evaluated as ($options['readFile'] && strpos($input, 'http://') === 0) || strpos($input, 'https://') === 0. As a result, when a caller explicitly sets the readFile option to false to disable file and URL reading, an input string beginning with https:// still satisfies the condition and triggers a network fetch via HttpSocket (configured to follow up to 10 redirects). The http:// branch is correctly gated by the readFile flag, but the https:// branch is not. An attacker who can influence the $input parameter passed to Xml::build() can therefore force the application to issue an outbound HTTPS request to an attacker-controlled or internal URL, even though the caller intended to suppress all remote reads. The fetched response is parsed as XML and may be returned to the caller, enabling information disclosure from internal services or external targets. This constitutes a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) weakness with an information-disclosure impact. The vulnerability requires that the code path in Xml::build() be reachable with attacker-controlled input and that the readFile option be set to false (or the caller expects it to be false).
CVE-2026-90947 1 Redhat 1 Enterprise Linux 2026-09-17 7.8 High
A flaw was found in GIMP. When processing a specially crafted lighting preset file, the Lighting Effects filter does not properly validate the number of light sources. This can lead to an out-of-bounds write, corrupting memory. An attacker could exploit this by convincing a user to open a malicious preset file, potentially causing a crash or enabling arbitrary code execution.
CVE-2026-89013 1 Dolibarr 1 Dolibarr 2026-09-17 7.5 High
Dolibarr 23.0.4 before 24.0.1 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to read arbitrary files through the document storage endpoints by supplying a crafted hashp parameter value. Attackers can send a request with hashp=shared to skip token validation while satisfying the authorization condition in htdocs/document.php and htdocs/viewimage.php, gaining access to application logs, uploaded business documents, database backups containing password hashes, and files belonging to other multicompany entities.
CVE-2026-86533 1 Team-alembic 2 Ash Authentication, Ash Authentication Phoenix 2026-09-17 N/A
Insufficient Session Expiration vulnerability in team-alembic AshAuthentication and AshAuthentication Phoenix allows a revoked session to remain fully authenticated. A resource configured with session_identifier :jti and require_token_presence_for_authentication? disabled stores its session value as <jti>:<subject>. The jti is there so that signing out can revoke that one session. Neither reader consults it: AshAuthentication.Plug.Helpers.authenticate_resource_from_session/4 and AshAuthentication.Phoenix.LiveSession.on_mount/4 both split the value with split_identifier/2, discard the jti and pass the bare subject to AshAuthentication.subject_to_user/3, which reloads the record. The token-presence branch of each function does check its token, calling AshAuthentication.TokenResource.Actions.get_token/3 with the jti and the purpose user. Because the revocation record is never read, neither its revoked state nor its expiry constrains the session, so a session captured before sign-out keeps working. This issue affects ash_authentication: from 4.9.1 before 4.15.0 and from 5.0.0-rc.0 before 5.0.0-rc.14; ash_authentication_phoenix: from 2.10.0 before 2.17.4 and from 3.0.0-rc.0 before 3.0.0-rc.11.
CVE-2026-86522 1 Team-alembic 1 Ash Authentication 2026-09-17 N/A
Improper Output Neutralization for Logs vulnerability in team-alembic AshAuthentication allows an unauthenticated attacker to forge application log entries by submitting a password reset identity containing newlines or control characters. AshAuthentication.Strategy.Password.RequestPasswordReset.run/3 interpolates the identity argument, the email or username taken straight from the reset request, into its Logger.warning/1 heredocs without escaping, truncating or type-restricting it. The resource logged beside it is passed through inspect/1, which would have neutralized the value. A newline in the identity therefore ends the log record, and everything after it is written as a line of its own, so an attacker chooses the severity tag and the content of entries that appear to have come from the application. This issue affects ash_authentication: from 4.2.0 before 4.15.0 and from 5.0.0-rc.0 before 5.0.0-rc.14.
CVE-2026-85500 1 Team-alembic 1 Ash Authentication 2026-09-17 N/A
Authentication Bypass by Primary Weakness vulnerability in team-alembic AshAuthentication allows an unconfirmed user to obtain a session, defeating a mandatory email confirmation requirement. AshAuthentication.Strategy.Password.Actions.check_user/2 decides whether the attribute named by require_confirmed_with is set using a bare is_nil(Map.get(user, value)). When that attribute is not selected on the loaded record Map.get/2 returns %Ash.NotLoaded{}, and when a field policy denies it for the current actor it returns %Ash.ForbiddenField{}. Neither is nil, so the rejection branch is skipped and sign-i require_confirmed_with is enforced in two places, and neither holds in every configuration. sign_in_with_token and register are checked only inside AshAuthentication.Strategy.Password.Actions, not on the action itself, so any caller that invokes the action directly skips the check. An API layer such as AshGraphql or AshJsonApi invokes the action directly, so this applies to the default configuration. Where a check does run it compares the confirmation attribute against nil. That attribute holds %Ash.NotLoaded{} or %Ash.ForbiddenField{} when it sets select_by_default?: false, when an API layer narrows the read's select, or when a field policy hides it from the sign-in actor. Neither struct is nil, so those configurations read every user as confirmed. This issue affects ash_authentication: from 4.3.8 before 4.15.0 and from 5.0.0-rc.0 before 5.0.0-rc.14.
CVE-2026-82964 2026-09-17 8.8 High
Improper preservation of permissions in the Avast sandbox minifilter driver (aswSnx.sys) on Windows allows a local, low-privileged attacker executing inside the sandbox to escape file isolation and escalate to SYSTEM. When the sandbox virtualizes a file it copies the original security descriptor, but the driver opened the virtualization target object with GENERIC_WRITE and FILE_WRITE_ATTRIBUTES only, omitting WRITE_DAC. Every attempt to apply the original DACL therefore failed, and the failure was discarded silently, leaving virtualized copies of sensitive files with permissive permissions. Because the IRP_MJ_CREATE callback additionally did not strip WRITE_DAC for sensitive directories, a sandboxed process could rewrite the security descriptor of a virtualized object, read the virtualized copy of the SAM database, extract local NTLM password hashes and execute code as SYSTEM. The absence of an IRP_MJ_SET_SECURITY callback in the driver's operation registration table is a related defense-in-depth gap, but it is not the control that prevents this attack.
CVE-2026-82761 1 Team-alembic 1 Ash Authentication 2026-09-17 N/A
Time-of-check Time-of-use (TOCTOU) Race Condition vulnerability in team-alembic AshAuthentication allows an attacker holding a leaked magic link to replay its single-use token and authenticate as the target subject. A magic link configured with single_use_token?, which is the default, is meant to be redeemable exactly once, but nothing serialises the token's validity check against its consumption, so concurrent redemptions of one token all succeed and each yields a full user token. Sign-in verifies the JWT with Jwt.verify/4 and revokes it only afterwards: AshAuthentication.Strategy.MagicLink.SignInPreparation revokes in a Query.after_action callback, and AshAuthentication.Strategy.MagicLink.SignInChange in an after_transaction hook that runs once the sign-in has already committed. AshAuthentication.TokenResource.Actions.revoke/3 writes the revocation as an upsert, so a concurrent duplicate revocation silently succeeds instead of conflicting and no request ever loses the race. This issue affects ash_authentication: from 3.9.0 before 4.15.0 and from 5.0.0-rc.0 before 5.0.0-rc.14.
