| CVE-2025-0678 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 4 Grub2, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 1 more | 2026-06-29 | 7.8 High |
| A flaw was found in grub2. When reading data from a squash4 filesystem, grub's squash4 fs module uses user-controlled parameters from the filesystem geometry to determine the internal buffer size, however, it improperly checks for integer overflows. A maliciously crafted filesystem may lead some of those buffer size calculations to overflow, causing it to perform a grub_malloc() operation with a smaller size than expected. As a result, the direct_read() will perform a heap based out-of-bounds write during data reading. This flaw may be leveraged to corrupt grub's internal critical data and may result in arbitrary code execution, by-passing secure boot protections. | ||||
| CVE-2024-45782 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 4 Grub2, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 1 more | 2026-06-29 | 7.8 High |
| A flaw was found in the HFS filesystem. When reading an HFS volume's name at grub_fs_mount(), the HFS filesystem driver performs a strcpy() using the user-provided volume name as input without properly validating the volume name's length. This issue may read to a heap-based out-of-bounds writer, impacting grub's sensitive data integrity and eventually leading to a secure boot protection bypass. | ||||
| CVE-2024-45778 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 4 Grub2, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 1 more | 2026-06-29 | 4.1 Medium |
| A stack overflow flaw was found when reading a BFS file system. A crafted BFS filesystem may lead to an uncontrolled loop, causing grub2 to crash. | ||||
| CVE-2025-7424 | 2 Redhat, Xmlsoft | 5 Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird, Openshift and 2 more | 2026-06-29 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in the libxslt library. The same memory field, psvi, is used for both stylesheet and input data, which can lead to type confusion during XML transformations. This vulnerability allows an attacker to crash the application or corrupt memory. In some cases, it may lead to denial of service or unexpected behavior. | ||||
| CVE-2026-12725 | 3 Dnsmasq, Redhat, Thekelleys | 5 Dnsmasq, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 2 more | 2026-06-24 | 5.9 Medium |
| A heap-based buffer overflow was found in dnsmasq. When DNSSEC validation and query logging are both enabled, logging of DS or DNSKEY replies containing unsupported algorithm or digest types can cause dnsmasq to write past the end of an internal logging buffer. A remote attacker able to supply such a DNS response may crash the dnsmasq process, resulting in denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-12969 | 3 Dnsmasq, Redhat, Thekelleys | 5 Dnsmasq, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 2 more | 2026-06-24 | 5.3 Medium |
| An out-of-bounds read vulnerability exists in dnsmasq's find_soa() function in src/rfc1035.c. When parsing NS section records, extract_name() is called with extrabytes=0, failing to validate that 10 additional bytes exist for fixed-length DNS record fields. A remote attacker controlling a DNS zone can exploit this via a crafted NXDOMAIN response to cause a 10-byte heap out-of-bounds read, potentially accessing stale data from prior transactions. | ||||
| CVE-2026-4480 | 2 Redhat, Samba | 11 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Openshift and 8 more | 2026-06-23 | 9 Critical |
| A flaw was found in the Samba printing subsystem. Samba passes the client-controlled job description string to the command configured with the "print command" setting via the "%J" substitution character without escaping shell meta characters. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted print job description that contains unescaped shell characters. This could lead to remote code execution on the affected system. | ||||
| CVE-2025-5372 | 2 Libssh, Redhat | 8 Libssh, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 5 more | 2026-06-15 | 5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in libssh versions built with OpenSSL versions older than 3.0, specifically in the ssh_kdf() function responsible for key derivation. Due to inconsistent interpretation of return values where OpenSSL uses 0 to indicate failure and libssh uses 0 for success—the function may mistakenly return a success status even when key derivation fails. This results in uninitialized cryptographic key buffers being used in subsequent communication, potentially compromising SSH sessions' confidentiality, integrity, and availability. | ||||
| CVE-2026-11850 | 1 Redhat | 5 Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images, Hummingbird and 2 more | 2026-06-12 | 5 Medium |
| An integer underflow vulnerability was found in MIT krb5 in the berval2tl_data() function in plugins/kdb/ldap/libkdb_ldap/ldap_principal2.c. The function performs an unsigned subtraction (bv_len - 2) without a prior bounds check. When bv_len is 0 or 1, the subtraction wraps to a large value which is then truncated to uint16_t, yielding 0xFFFE (65534) or 0xFFFF (65535). The subsequent malloc succeeds and memcpy reads up to 65534 bytes from a 0-1 byte buffer, resulting in a heap out-of-bounds read. The attack vector involves a malicious or compromised LDAP KDB backend returning a krbExtraData attribute with bv_len < 2, triggering the underflow when the KDC or kadmind reads principal data. | ||||
| CVE-2026-3238 | 2 Redhat, Samba | 4 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Openshift Container Platform and 1 more | 2026-06-09 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in Samba’s WINS server component when running as an Active Directory Domain Controller. The WINS protocol handlers for certain request types did not properly validate incoming packets, allowing an unauthenticated remote attacker to trigger a NULL pointer dereference and crash the WINS service using specially crafted UDP packets. | ||||
| CVE-2026-10533 | 1 Redhat | 2 Openshift, Openshift Container Platform | 2026-06-08 | 5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in OpenShift Container Platform. Completed pods with restartPolicy: Never do not count toward ResourceQuota pod limits, and Kubernetes events are not quota-scoped. A non-privileged user who can create pods in a namespace can exploit this to generate a large volume of events that accumulate in etcd, causing API server performance degradation across the cluster. | ||||
| CVE-2026-10843 | 1 Redhat | 2 Openshift, Openshift Container Platform | 2026-06-05 | 7.2 High |
| A flaw was found in the OpenShift Cloud Credential Operator Mint-mode IAM policies for AWS. Operator credentials are provisioned with account-wide scope for destructive actions rather than being restricted to cluster-owned resources, enabling cross-scope impact after credential compromise. | ||||
| CVE-2026-5367 | 1 Redhat | 4 Enterprise Linux, Fast Datapath, Openshift and 1 more | 2026-06-01 | 8.6 High |
| A flaw was found in OVN (Open Virtual Network). A remote attacker, by sending crafted DHCPv6 (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol for IPv6) SOLICIT packets with an inflated Client ID length, could cause the ovn-controller to read beyond the bounds of a packet. This out-of-bounds read can lead to the disclosure of sensitive information stored in heap memory, which is then returned to the attacker's virtual machine port. | ||||
| CVE-2021-4104 | 4 Apache, Fedoraproject, Oracle and 1 more | 59 Log4j, Fedora, Advanced Supply Chain Planning and 56 more | 2026-05-28 | 7.5 High |
| JMSAppender in Log4j 1.2 is vulnerable to deserialization of untrusted data when the attacker has write access to the Log4j configuration. The attacker can provide TopicBindingName and TopicConnectionFactoryBindingName configurations causing JMSAppender to perform JNDI requests that result in remote code execution in a similar fashion to CVE-2021-44228. Note this issue only affects Log4j 1.2 when specifically configured to use JMSAppender, which is not the default. Apache Log4j 1.2 reached end of life in August 2015. Users should upgrade to Log4j 2 as it addresses numerous other issues from the previous versions. | ||||
| CVE-2026-35091 | 2 Corosync, Redhat | 10 Corosync, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 7 more | 2026-05-26 | 8.2 High |
| A flaw was found in Corosync. A remote unauthenticated attacker can exploit a wrong return value vulnerability in the Corosync membership commit token sanity check by sending a specially crafted User Datagram Protocol (UDP) packet. This can lead to an out-of-bounds read, causing a denial of service (DoS) and potentially disclosing limited memory contents | ||||
| CVE-2026-35092 | 2 Corosync, Redhat | 10 Corosync, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 7 more | 2026-05-26 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in Corosync. An integer overflow vulnerability in Corosync's join message sanity validation allows a remote, unauthenticated attacker to send crafted User Datagram Protocol (UDP) packets. This can cause the service to crash, leading to a denial of service. This vulnerability specifically affects Corosync deployments configured to use totemudp/totemudpu mode. | ||||
| CVE-2026-31431 | 10 Amazon, Arista, Canonical and 7 more | 47 Amazon Linux, Cloudvision Agni, Cloudvision Portal and 44 more | 2026-05-21 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: crypto: algif_aead - Revert to operating out-of-place This mostly reverts commit 72548b093ee3 except for the copying of the associated data. There is no benefit in operating in-place in algif_aead since the source and destination come from different mappings. Get rid of all the complexity added for in-place operation and just copy the AD directly. | ||||
| CVE-2026-6843 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 5 Nano, Enterprise Linux, Nano and 2 more | 2026-05-20 | 5.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in nano. A local user could exploit a format string vulnerability in the `statusline()` function. By creating a directory with a name containing `printf` specifiers, the application attempts to display this name, leading to a segmentation fault (SEGV). This results in a Denial of Service (DoS) for the `nano` application. | ||||
| CVE-2026-6844 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 6 Binutils, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 3 more | 2026-05-20 | 5.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in the `readelf` utility of the binutils package. A local attacker could exploit two Denial of Service (DoS) vulnerabilities by providing a specially crafted Executable and Linkable Format (ELF) file. One vulnerability, a resource exhaustion (CWE-400), can lead to an out-of-memory condition. The other, a null pointer dereference (CWE-476), can cause a segmentation fault. Both issues can result in the `readelf` utility becoming unresponsive or crashing, leading to a denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-0966 | 2 Libssh, Redhat | 6 Libssh, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 3 more | 2026-05-19 | 8.2 High |
| A flaw was found in libssh. The API function `ssh_get_hexa()` is vulnerable to a denial of service when processing zero-length input. This can be exploited remotely by an attacker during GSSAPI (Generic Security Service Application Program Interface) authentication if the server's logging verbosity is set to `SSH_LOG_PACKET (3)` or higher. Successful exploitation could lead to a self-Denial of Service of the per-connection daemon process. | ||||
