CVSS v3.1 |
| In OpenStack Blazar before 17.0.1, the V2 lease API does not enforce object-level authorization on its update and delete operations (PUT /v2/leases/{lease_id} and DELETE /v2/leases/{lease_id}). The policy authorize() wrapper attempts to load the target lease to build the authorization target from its owner, but it looks up the lease under the keyword "lease_id" whereas the controller methods name the parameter "id" (and the wsme_pecan.wsexpose wrapper delivers it positionally). The lookup returns None, and thus authorization falls back to the requesting user's own project_id/user_id instead of the target lease owner. Any authenticated user who knows a lease ID can therefore modify or delete leases belonging to other users and projects, bypassing the intended ownership check. |
| An issue was discovered in Keyfactor SignServer before 7.6.0. The attribute ATTRIBUTESFILE in PKCS11CryptoToken can be set to a readable file but not an accepted file (i.e., recognized with attributes). In this case, an error is thrown which - together with the error - also prints the content of the file to the application server log. This gives a user that has both SignServer admin access and access to read the output of the server log (i.e., if remote syslog shipping is configured), the possibility to read the content of files accessible by the local user JBoss. |
| A stack-based buffer overflow in the dynamic loader (ld.so) of the GNU C Library (glibc) versions 2.14 through 2.44 allows a local attacker to crash or corrupt the memory of setuid/setgid (AT_SECURE) programs.
When such a program's DT_RPATH or DT_RUNPATH begins with $ORIGIN and is followed by NUL or '/' the loader both reads past the end of the path buffer and writes past the end of a stack-allocated internal buffer. The corrupted loader stack can lead to a loader crash (denial of service) and limited disclosure of process memory. |
| A time-of-check to time-of-use (TOCTOU) race condition in the dynamic loader (ld.so) of the GNU C Library (glibc) versions 2.14 through 2.44 allows a local attacker to escalate privileges. When expanding $ORIGIN in DT_RPATH for setuid/setgid (AT_SECURE) programs, glibc validates the lexically normalized search path against the trusted directories but then opens the raw, un-normalized path. On systems where the Linux fs.protected_hardlinks sysctl is disabled, a local attacker who hard-links such a program into an attacker-controlled directory and wins a race to replace an intermediate path component with a symbolic link can direct the loader outside the trusted directory, causing it to load an attacker-controlled shared object and execute arbitrary code with the elevated privileges of the program.
Exploitation requires an installed setuid or setgid binary whose DT_RPATH uses $ORIGIN followed by ".." traversal that normalizes into a trusted directory, and the ability to hard-link that binary and win the race by swapping a path component for a symbolic link. Major Linux-based OS distributions ship with fs.protected_hardlinks enabled by default and mitigate the vulnerability. |
| In OpenStack Octavia before 18.0.1, the Amphora provider driver did not validate the listener and pool tls_ciphers field for control characters. The value is written verbatim into the HAProxy configuration generated on the amphora, and thus an authenticated project member who owns a TLS-enabled load balancer can embed a newline and inject arbitrary HAProxy configuration directives. Only deployments using the Amphora provider are affected. |
| In OpenStack Octavia before 18.0.1, the Amphora provider driver did not reject control characters in the L7 policy redirect_url and redirect_prefix fields. The RFC 3986 URL validator percent-encodes control characters before validating, and thus newlines passed structural checks, but Octavia stored and wrote the raw unencoded value directly into the HAProxy configuration generated on the amphora. An authenticated project member who owns a load balancer can therefore inject arbitrary HAProxy directives through a REDIRECT_TO_URL L7 policy. Only deployments using the Amphora provider are affected. |
| A vulnerability in the firewall component of HPE Aruba Networking CX 10000 Series Switches exists. It could allow an unauthenticated adjacent attacker to conduct a packet forwarding attack against the ICMP and UDP protocol. For this attack to be successful an attacker requires a switch configuration that allows packets routing (at layer 3). Configurations that do not allow network traffic routing are not impacted. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to bypass security policies, potentially leading to unauthorized data exposure. |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in Windows HTTP Print Provider allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| Improper link resolution before file access ('link following') in Windows Container Manager Service allows an authorized attacker to bypass a security feature locally. |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in Windows Network File System allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| Use after free in Windows DWM Core Library allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges over a network. |
| There is a buffer overflow vulnerability in the underlying Utility daemon that could lead to unauthenticated remote code execution by sending specially crafted packets destined to the PAPI (Aruba's access point management protocol) UDP port (8211). Successful exploitation of this vulnerability results in the ability to execute arbitrary code as a privileged user on the underlying operating system.

| Time-of-check time-of-use (toctou) race condition in Windows Win32K allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Concurrent execution using shared resource with improper synchronization ('race condition') in DNS Server allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| Use after free in Windows Hello allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Untrusted search path in Windows Smart Card allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Vulnerability in the Siebel CRM Deployment product of Oracle Siebel CRM (component: Cloud Gateway). Supported versions that are affected are 17.0-26.7. Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Siebel CRM Deployment. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized creation, deletion or modification access to critical data or all Siebel CRM Deployment accessible data as well as unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Siebel CRM Deployment accessible data. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 6.8 (Confidentiality and Integrity impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:N). |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in Windows Text Shaping allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| A flaw was found in libssh. Logic errors in automatic certificate-based public key authentication can cause libssh clients to loop indefinitely when configured certificates are missing or repeatedly rejected by a server, leading to denial of service. |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in Windows Credential Providers allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
