CVSS v3.1 |
| A certificate verification error in wolfSSL when building with the WOLFSSL_SYS_CA_CERTS and WOLFSSL_APPLE_NATIVE_CERT_VALIDATION options results in the wolfSSL
client failing to properly verify the server certificate's domain name,
allowing any certificate issued by a trusted CA to be accepted regardless of the hostname. |
| A malicious client can bypass the client certificate trust check of an opc.https server when the server endpoint is configured to allow only secure communication. |
| An issue in Annonshop.app DecentralizeJustice/ anonymousLocker commit 2b2b4 allows attackers to send messages erroneously attributed to arbitrary users via a crafted HTTP request. |
| Improper session management in GCOM EPON 1GE ONU version C00R371V00B01 allows attackers to execute a session hijacking attack via spoofing the IP address of an authenticated user. |
| NeuVector supports login authentication through OpenID Connect. However, the TLS verification (which verifies the remote server's authenticity and integrity) for OpenID Connect is not enforced by default. As a result this may expose the system to man-in-the-middle (MITM) attacks. |
| go-witness and witness are Go modules for generating attestations. In go-witness versions 0.8.6 and earlier and witness versions 0.9.2 and earlier the AWS attestor improperly verifies AWS EC2 instance identity documents. Verification can incorrectly succeed when a signature is not present or is empty, and when RSA signature verification fails. The attestor also embeds a single legacy global AWS public certificate and does not account for newer region specific certificates issued in 2024, making detection of forged documents difficult without additional trusted region data. An attacker able to supply or intercept instance identity document data (such as through Instance Metadata Service impersonation) can cause a forged identity document to be accepted, leading to incorrect trust decisions based on the attestation. This is fixed in go-witness 0.9.1 and witness 0.10.1. As a workaround, manually verify the included identity document, signature, and public key with standard tools (for example openssl) following AWS’s verification guidance, or disable use of the AWS attestor until upgraded. |
| The Toyoko Inn official App for iOS versions prior to 1.13.0 and Toyoko Inn official App for Android versions prior 1.3.14 don't properly verify server certificates, which allows a man-in-the-middle attacker to spoof servers and obtain sensitive information via a crafted certificate. |
| Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could result in the product failing to re-establish communication once the certificate expires. |
| Authentication Bypass by Spoofing vulnerability in WP Happy Coders Comments Like Dislike allows Functionality Bypass. This issue affects Comments Like Dislike: from n/a through 1.2.2. |
| A vulnerability was found in Hualai Xiaofang iSC5 3.2.2_112 and classified as problematic. Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality. The manipulation leads to improper certificate validation. The attack may be launched remotely. The complexity of an attack is rather high. The exploitation is known to be difficult. The identifier of this vulnerability is VDB-261788. NOTE: The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| Improper certificate validation vulnerability exists in 'デジラアプリ' App for iOS prior to ver.80.10.00. If this vulnerability is exploited, a man-in-the-middle attack may allow an attacker to eavesdrop on and/or tamper with an encrypted communication. |
| A vulnerability was found in EZVIZ CS-C6-21WFR-8 5.2.7 Build 170628. It has been classified as problematic. This affects an unknown part of the component Davinci Application. The manipulation leads to improper certificate validation. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The complexity of an attack is rather high. The exploitability is told to be difficult. The identifier VDB-261789 was assigned to this vulnerability. NOTE: The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| Allow attackers to intercept or falsify data exchanges between the client
and the server |
| WTW-EAGLE App does not properly validate server certificates, which may allow a man-in-the-middle attacker to monitor encrypted traffic. |
| A vulnerability has been identified within Rancher that can be exploited
in narrow circumstances through a man-in-the-middle (MITM) attack. An
attacker would need to have control of an expired domain or execute a
DNS spoofing/hijacking attack against the domain to exploit this
vulnerability. The targeted domain is the one used as the Rancher URL. |
| Improper Certificate Validation (CWE-295) in the Gallagher Command Centre SALTO integration allowed an attacker to spoof the SALTO server.
This issue affects all versions of Gallagher Command Centre prior to 9.20.1043. |
| A security vulnerability was identified in Obsidian Scheduler's REST API 5.0.0 thru 6.3.0. If an account is locked out due to not enrolling in MFA (e.g. after the 7-day enforcement window), the REST API still allows the use of Basic Authentication to authenticate and perform administrative actions. In particular, the default admin account was found to be locked out via the web interface but still usable through the REST API. This allowed creation of a new privileged user, bypassing MFA protections. This undermines the intended security posture of MFA enforcement. |
| CrowdStrike uses industry-standard TLS (transport layer security) to secure communications from the Falcon sensor to the CrowdStrike cloud. CrowdStrike has identified a validation logic error in the Falcon sensor for Linux, Falcon Kubernetes Admission Controller, and Falcon Container Sensor where our TLS connection routine to the CrowdStrike cloud can incorrectly process server certificate validation. This could allow an attacker with the ability to control network traffic to potentially conduct a man-in-the-middle (MiTM) attack. CrowdStrike identified this issue internally and released a security fix in all Falcon sensor for Linux, Falcon Kubernetes Admission Controller, and Falcon Container Sensor versions 7.06 and above.
CrowdStrike identified this issue through our longstanding, rigorous security review process, which has been continually strengthened with deeper source code analysis and ongoing program enhancements as part of our commitment to security resilience. CrowdStrike has no indication of any exploitation of this issue in the wild. CrowdStrike has leveraged its world class threat hunting and intelligence capabilities to actively monitor for signs of abuse or usage of this flaw and will continue to do so.
Windows and Mac sensors are not affected by this. |
| An Improper Certificate Validation vulnerability exists in Tenable Security Center where an authenticated, privileged attacker could intercept email messages sent from Security Center via a rogue SMTP server. |
| An Authentication Bypass vulnerability in Blue Access' Cobalt X1 thru 02.000.187 allows an unauthorized attacker to log into the application as an administrator without valid credentials. |
