CVSS v3.1 |
Jackson-core contains core low-level incremental ("streaming") parser and generator abstractions used by Jackson Data Processor. Starting in version 2.0.0 and prior to version 2.13.0, a flaw in jackson-core's `JsonLocation._appendSourceDesc` method allows up to 500 bytes of unintended memory content to be included in exception messages. When parsing JSON from a byte array with an offset and length, the exception message incorrectly reads from the beginning of the array instead of the logical payload start. This results in possible information disclosure in systems using pooled or reused buffers, like Netty or Vert.x. This issue was silently fixed in jackson-core version 2.13.0, released on September 30, 2021, via PR #652. All users should upgrade to version 2.13.0 or later. If upgrading is not immediately possible, applications can mitigate the issue by disabling exception message exposure to clients to avoid returning parsing exception messages in HTTP responses and/or disabling source inclusion in exceptions to prevent Jackson from embedding any source content in exception messages, avoiding leakage.
Improper input validation in some Intel(R) Graphics Drivers may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable denial of service via local access.
Gardener External DNS Management is an environment to manage external DNS entries for a kubernetes cluster. A security vulnerability was discovered in Gardener's External DNS Management prior to version 0.23.6 that could allow a user with administrative privileges for a Gardener project or a user with administrative privileges for a shoot cluster, including administrative privileges for a single namespace of the shoot cluster, to obtain control over the seed cluster where the shoot cluster is managed. This CVE affects all Gardener installations no matter of the public cloud provider(s) used for the seed clusters/shoot clusters. The affected component is `gardener/external-dns-management`. The `external-dns-management` component may also be deployed on the seeds by the `gardener/gardener-extension-shoot-dns-service` extension when the extension is enabled. In this case, all versions of the `shoot-dns-service` extension `<= v1.60.0` are affected by this vulnerability. Version 0.23.6 of Gardener External DNS Management fixes the issue.
The BGP daemon in Extreme Networks ExtremeXOS (aka EXOS) 30.7.1.1 allows an attacker (who is not on a directly connected network) to cause a denial of service (BGP session reset) because of BGP attribute error mishandling (for attribute 21 and 25). NOTE: the vendor disputes this because it is "evaluating support for RFC 7606 as a future feature" and believes that "customers that have chosen to not require or implement RFC 7606 have done so willingly and with knowledge of what is needed to defend against these types of attacks."
The Simple Page Access Restriction plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 1.0.29 via the WordPress core search feature. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract sensitive data from posts that have been restricted to higher-level roles such as logged-in users.
On affected platforms, restricted users could view sensitive portions of the config database via a debug API (e.g., user password hashes)
In the "bestinformed Web" application, some user input was not properly sanitized. This leads to multiple unauthenticated stored cross-site scripting vulnerabilities. An unauthenticated attacker is able to compromise the sessions of users on the server by injecting JavaScript code into their session using an "Unauthenticated Stored Cross-Site Scripting". The attacker is then able to ride the session of those users and can abuse their privileges on the "bestinformed Web" application.
Improper input validation in UEFI firmware for some Intel(R) Processors may allow a privileged user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.
EDK2 contains a vulnerability in BIOS where an attacker may cause “ Improper Input Validation” by local access. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could alter control flow in unexpected ways, potentially allowing arbitrary command execution and impacting Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability.
Improper input validation in UEFI firmware CseVariableStorageSmm for some Intel(R) Processors may allow a privileged user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.
Improper input validation in UEFI firmware for some Intel(R) Processors may allow a privileged user to potentially enable information disclosure via local access.
Improper input validation in XmlCli feature for UEFI firmware for some Intel(R) processors may allow privileged user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.
Improper input validation in some Intel(R) SPS firmware before SPS_E5_06.01.04.059.0 may allow a privileged user to potentially enable denial of service via local access.
Improper Input Validation vulnerability in The Wikimedia Foundation Mediawiki - Wikibase Media Info Extension allows Cross-Site Scripting (XSS).This issue affects Mediawiki - Wikibase Media Info Extension: from 1.39 through 1.43.
Path Traversal vulnerability in the eSignaViewer component in eSigna product versions 1.0 to 1.5 on all platforms allow an unauthenticated attacker to access arbitrary files in the document system via manipulation of file paths and object identifiers.
Improper Input Validation vulnerability in The Wikimedia Foundation Mediawiki - Extension:SimpleCalendar allows Cross-Site Scripting (XSS).This issue affects Mediawiki - Extension:SimpleCalendar: from 1.39 through 1.43.
Vite a frontend build tooling framework for javascript. In affected versions the contents of arbitrary files can be returned to the browser. `@fs` denies access to files outside of Vite serving allow list. Adding `?import&raw` to the URL bypasses this limitation and returns the file content if it exists. This issue has been patched in versions 5.4.6, 5.3.6, 5.2.14, 4.5.5, and 3.2.11. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in Faraday GM8181 and GM828x up to 20240429. Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality of the file /command_port.ini. The manipulation leads to information disclosure. The attack may be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. VDB-263306 is the identifier assigned to this vulnerability. NOTE: The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
The Context Blog theme for WordPress is vulnerable to Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 1.2.5 via the 'context_blog_modal_popup' due to insufficient restrictions on which posts can be included. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract data from password protected, private, or draft posts that they should not have access to.
Insertion of Sensitive Information Into Sent Data vulnerability in Syed Balkhi All In One SEO Pack all-in-one-seo-pack allows Retrieve Embedded Sensitive Data. This issue affects All In One SEO Pack: from n/a through <= 4.8.6.1.
