An exploitable out-of-bounds write vulnerability exists in the batch transaction field parsing functionality of Aerospike Database Server 3.10.0.3. A specially crafted packet can cause an out-of-bounds write resulting in memory corruption which can lead to remote code execution. An attacker can simply connect to the port to trigger this vulnerability.
Adobe Captivate versions 9 and earlier have a remote code execution vulnerability in the quiz reporting feature that could be abused to read and write arbitrary files to the server.
An exploitable memory corruption vulnerability exists in the LvVariantUnflatten functionality in 64-bit versions of LabVIEW before 2015 SP1 f7 Patch and 2016 before f2 Patch. A specially crafted VI file can cause a user controlled value to be used as a loop terminator resulting in internal heap corruption. An attacker controlled VI file can be used to trigger this vulnerability, exploitation could lead to remote code execution.
An exploitable remote code execution vulnerability exists in the Trane ComfortLink II firmware version 2.0.2 in DSS service. An attacker who can connect to the DSS service on the Trane ComfortLink II device can send an overly long REG request that can overflow a fixed size stack buffer, resulting in arbitrary code execution.
A remote code execution vulnerability in AOSP Messaging could enable an attacker using a specially crafted file to cause memory corruption during media file and data processing. This issue is rated as High due to the possibility of remote code execution within the context of an unprivileged process. Product: Android. Versions: 6.0, 6.0.1, 7.0, 7.1.1. Android ID: A-33388925.
A remote code execution vulnerability in Mediaserver could enable an attacker using a specially crafted file to cause memory corruption during media file and data processing. This issue is rated as Critical due to the possibility of remote code execution within the context of the Mediaserver process. Product: Android. Versions: 6.0, 6.0.1, 7.0, 7.1.1. Android ID: A-33816782.
An exploitable stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the querying functionality of Aerospike Database Server 3.10.0.3. A specially crafted packet can cause a stack-based buffer overflow in the function as_sindex__simatch_by_iname resulting in remote code execution. An attacker can simply connect to the port to trigger this vulnerability.
A remote code execution vulnerability in libstagefright could enable an attacker using a specially crafted file to execute arbitrary code in the context of an unprivileged process. This issue is rated as High due to the possibility of remote code execution in an application that uses this library. Product: Android. Versions: 6.0, 6.0.1, 7.0, 7.1.1. Android ID: A-31999646.
A remote code execution vulnerability in libgdx could enable an attacker using a specially crafted file to execute arbitrary code in the context of an unprivileged process. This issue is rated as High due to the possibility of remote code execution in an application that uses this library. Product: Android. Versions: 7.1.1. Android ID: A-32769670.
An exploitable out-of-bounds indexing vulnerability exists within the RW fabric message particle type of Aerospike Database Server 3.10.0.3. A specially crafted packet can cause the server to fetch a function table outside the bounds of an array resulting in remote code execution. An attacker can simply connect to the port to trigger this vulnerability.
An exploitable stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the querying functionality of Aerospike Database Server 3.10.0.3. A specially crafted packet can cause a stack-based buffer overflow in the function as_sindex__simatch_list_by_set_binid resulting in remote code execution. An attacker can simply connect to the port to trigger this vulnerability.
A remote code execution vulnerability exists when Microsoft scripting engine improperly accesses objects in memory. The vulnerability could corrupt memory in a way that enables an attacker to execute arbitrary code in the context of the current user. An attacker who successfully exploited the vulnerability could gain the same user rights as the current user, aka "Scripting Engine Memory Corruption Vulnerability."
A remote code execution vulnerability exists in the way affected Microsoft scripting engines render when handling objects in memory in Microsoft browsers. These vulnerabilities could corrupt memory in such a way that an attacker could execute arbitrary code in the context of the current user. An attacker who successfully exploited the vulnerability could gain the same user rights as the current user. If the current user is logged on with administrative user rights, an attacker who successfully exploited the vulnerability could take control of an affected system. An attacker could then install programs; view, change, or delete data; or create new accounts with full user rights. This vulnerability is different from those described in CVE-2017-0010, CVE-2017-0015, CVE-2017-0032, CVE-2017-0067, CVE-2017-0070, CVE-2017-0071, CVE-2017-0094, CVE-2017-0131, CVE-2017-0132, CVE-2017-0133, CVE-2017-0134, CVE-2017-0136, CVE-2017-0137, CVE-2017-0138, CVE-2017-0141, CVE-2017-0150, and CVE-2017-0151.
Uniscribe in Microsoft Windows Vista SP2, Windows Server 2008 SP2 and R2 SP1, and Windows 7 SP1 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted web site, aka "Uniscribe Remote Code Execution Vulnerability." This vulnerability is different from those described in CVE-2017-0072, CVE-2017-0083, CVE-2017-0084, CVE-2017-0087, CVE-2017-0088, CVE-2017-0089, and CVE-2017-0090.
An active network attacker (MiTM) can achieve remote code execution on a machine that runs IKARUS Anti Virus 2.16.7. IKARUS AV for Windows uses cleartext HTTP for updates along with a CRC32 checksum and an update value for verification of the downloaded files. The attacker first forces the client to initiate an update transaction by modifying an update field within an HTTP 200 response, so that it refers to a nonexistent update. The attacker then modifies the HTTP 404 response so that it specifies a successfully found update, with a Trojan horse executable file (e.g., guardxup.exe) and the correct CRC32 checksum for that file.
