| Kata Containers is an open source project focusing on a standard implementation of lightweight Virtual Machines (VMs) that perform like containers. Prior to 3.31.0, the runtime-rs standalone virtio-fs path is vulnerable to a guest-root to host-root escape. In this configuration, Kata runs the host virtiofsd as root with --sandbox none --seccomp none, so an attacker with root-equivalent access inside the guest can bypass the guest virtio-fs client entirely by taking over the virtio-fs PCI device and building a virtqueue in userspace to submit raw FUSE requests directly to the host virtiofsd. A crafted FUSE_SYMLINK request whose new symlink name is an absolute host path is honored outside the configured shared directory, allowing guest root to create root-owned symlinks in sensitive host locations such as /etc/cron.d. By pointing such a symlink at a guest-controlled crontab payload reachable through a live runtime process's mount namespace, the attacker causes the host cron daemon to execute that payload as host root, crossing the Kata isolation boundary. This issue is fixed in version 3.31.0. |

| An incorrect authorization vulnerability in the protocol communication between the WatchGuard Authentication Gateway (aka Single Sign-On Agent) on Windows and the WatchGuard Single Sign-On Client on Windows and MacOS allows an attacker with network access to forge communications to affected components.
In the event an attacker has already gained network access, they could exploit this vulnerability to retrieve authenticated usernames and group memberships from the Single Sign-On Agent or send arbitrary account and group information to the Single Sign-On Agent for their host. This vulnerability cannot be used by an attacker to gain access to user credentials. |

| Postiz is an open-source social media scheduling tool. The route that serves locally stored media joins URL-supplied path segments onto the upload directory and streams the file without normalising the path or confining it to that directory, and the route requires no authentication. Raw dot-segments are collapsed before routing, but URL-encoded separators survive route matching and are decoded only once they reach the handler, restoring the traversal at the filesystem call. An unauthenticated remote attacker can therefore read any file readable by the application process, including the process environment, which exposes the JWT signing secret, the database connection string, and connected provider and billing secrets. Because session tokens are signed with that secret and carry no expiry, this allows forging a non-expiring session as any user, including an administrator, without a password. |
| Ground Station prior to 0.6.0 contains an unauthenticated blind server-side request forgery vulnerability in the orbital-source configuration path that allows any unauthenticated Socket.IO client to cause the ground-station process to issue outbound HTTP requests to attacker-chosen destinations. Attackers can connect to the Socket.IO server on port 7000 without credentials due to disabled authentication enforcement and a wildcard CORS policy, then submit a data_submission event with submit-orbital-sources action to persist an attacker-supplied URL in the database, then trigger an orbital sync via the equally unauthenticated background_task:start event. The URL is stored with no scheme allowlist, no host validation, and no rejection of loopback, RFC1918, or link-local (cloud instance metadata at 169.254.169.254) addresses, and is passed directly to requests.get in _fetch_http_3le and _fetch_http_omm in backend/tlesync/source_adapters.py. HTTP status codes and error messages from the outbound request are emitted in the orbital_sync_state Socket.IO event to all connected clients, providing a serviceable oracle for interpreting internal-service and cloud-metadata responses even though the raw response body is not directly leaked. Because the malicious source persists in the database across restarts and re-fires every 24 hours on the scheduled sync cycle, the primitive gives durable long-term SSRF without the attacker needing to remain connected. |

vulnerable to a buffer overflow condition. By specifying an excessively
long filename in a file upload request, an unauthenticated attacker can
trigger a crash of the server, resulting in a denial of service.
Depending on the stack state or if a stack canary can be disclosed
through another vulnerability, this buffer overflow could potentially be
exploited for remote code execution, leading to full compromise of the
server. This issue affects TeamDavid through Rollout 524. |
