CVSS v3.1 |
| AMI APTIOV contains vulnerabilities
in BIOS where users may cause “Buffer Access with Incorrect Length
Value” by local access. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could
lead to buffer overflows, memory corruption, and arbitrary code execution, and
also impact Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability. |
| F´ (F Prime) is a framework that enables development and deployment of spaceflight and other embedded software applications. Prior to 4.3.0, Svc::TlmPacketizer TlmRecv_handler fixed-slot copy TlmRecv_handler copies val.getSize bytes into entry.channelSize storage without confirming that the runtime value fits. When a telemetry update for a configured channel carries a serialized value larger than that channel fixed slot, the copy overwrites adjacent channel fields and causes corrupted packetized telemetry to be emitted. This issue is fixed in version 4.3.0. |
| In Progress® Kendo® UI for jQuery versions starting with v2023.1.117 and prior to v2026.3.1015, the FileBrowser and ImageBrowser components render remotely supplied file and directory names as HTML without proper encoding. An attacker-controlled name containing script-related HTML can execute JavaScript in the user's browser, compromising the confidentiality and integrity of data accessible to the affected application. |
| In Progress® Kendo® UI for jQuery versions starting with 2023.3.1010 and prior to 2026.3.1015, the FileManager component renders remotely supplied item names as HTML in its default drag hint even though the corresponding list items are encoded. An attacker who can control an item name can inject HTML containing event handlers that execute JavaScript in a user's browser when the user drags the affected item. Successful exploitation can compromise the confidentiality and integrity of data accessible to the affected application. This issue is fixed in version 2026.3.1015. |
| In Progress® Kendo® UI for jQuery releases starting with v2020.1.114 and prior to 2026.3.1015, the Badge text method renders string values as raw HTML without encoding, including values supplied through text binding. An attacker who can modify data bound to a Badge can supply HTML containing event handlers that execute JavaScript in a user's browser when the Badge renders the value. Successful exploitation can compromise the confidentiality and integrity of data accessible to the affected application. This issue is fixed in version 2026.3.1015. |
| In Progress® Kendo® UI for jQuery versions starting with 2022.3.1109 and prior to 2026.3.1015, ToolBar ButtonGroup button URLs are concatenated into an unquoted href attribute after URL sanitization. An attacker who can control a button URL can supply an otherwise allowed HTTPS URL containing whitespace and additional attributes, including an event handler, and execute JavaScript in a user's browser when the affected button is interacted with. Successful exploitation can compromise the confidentiality and integrity of data accessible to the affected application. This issue is fixed in version 2026.3.1015. |
| In Progress® Kendo® UI for jQuery, in v2026.3.811 and earlier, the Scheduler Day, Timeline, Month, and Agenda views insert resource color values into quoted event wrapper attributes without proper encoding. An attacker who can control a resource color can inject additional HTML attributes, including event handlers, and execute JavaScript in a user's browser when the affected event is interacted with. Successful exploitation can compromise the confidentiality and integrity of data accessible to the affected application. The earliest affected version has not been confirmed. This issue is fixed in version 2026.3.1015. |
| In Progress® Kendo® UI for jQuery versions starting with 2019.2.514 and prior to 2026.3.1015, the PanelBar component inserts data source item URL values into a single-quoted href attribute without proper encoding. An attacker who can control an item URL can inject additional HTML attributes, including event handlers, and execute JavaScript in a user's browser when the affected item is interacted with. Successful exploitation can compromise the confidentiality and integrity of data accessible to the affected application. This issue is fixed in version 2026.3.1015. |
| In Progress® Kendo® UI for jQuery versions starting with 2012.2.710 and prior to 2026.3.1015, the Validator decodes validation messages from data-msg-* attributes and parses the resulting text as HTML. An attacker who can modify a validation message can cause HTML that was correctly escaped in the page attribute to become active markup, including event handlers, when the user triggers validation. Successful exploitation can execute JavaScript in a user's browser and compromise the confidentiality and integrity of data accessible to the affected application. This issue is fixed in version 2026.3.1015. |
| In Progress® Kendo® UI for jQuery prior to v2026.3.1015, the Menu component constructs HTML attributes from bound dataSource fields by string concatenation without proper neutralization. An attacker with low privileges who can control these fields can inject JavaScript event-handler attributes that execute when a user interacts with the affected Menu, compromising the confidentiality and integrity of data accessible in the user's browser context. |
| In Progress® Kendo® UI for jQuery prior to 2026.3.1015, the TabStrip, Menu, and PanelBar components insert data source imageUrl values into single-quoted image src attributes without proper escaping. An attacker who can modify an image URL can inject additional HTML attributes, including event handlers, and execute JavaScript in a user's browser when the affected component renders the image. Successful exploitation can compromise the confidentiality and integrity of data accessible to the affected application. The earliest affected version has not been confirmed. This issue is fixed in version 2026.3.1015. |
| In Progress® Kendo® UI for jQuery releases starting with R1 2020 and prior to 2026.3.1015, the ListBox default item template renders the bound dataTextField value as raw HTML without encoding. An attacker who can modify the bound data can supply HTML containing event handlers that execute JavaScript in a user's browser when the affected list item is rendered. Successful exploitation can compromise the confidentiality and integrity of data accessible to the affected application. This issue is fixed in version 2026.3.1015. |
| In Progress® Kendo UI for Vue (@progress/kendo-vue-charts) starting with version 2.5.0 and prior to 16.2.0, the default Chart tooltip renders the formatted point value as raw HTML without encoding, in both the single-point and the shared tooltip. An attacker with low privileges who can influence a string value bound to the chart can supply HTML containing event handlers that execute JavaScript in a user's browser when the user hovers over the affected data point. Successful exploitation can compromise the confidentiality and integrity of data accessible to the affected application. |
| In Progress® KendoReact (@progress/kendo-react-charts) starting with version 1.1.0 and prior to 16.2.0, the default Chart tooltip renders the formatted point value as raw HTML without encoding, in both the single-point and the shared tooltip. An attacker with low privileges who can influence a string value bound to the chart can supply HTML containing event handlers that execute JavaScript in a user's browser when the user hovers over the affected data point. Successful exploitation can compromise the confidentiality and integrity of data accessible to the affected application. |
| util-linux is a random collection of Linux utilities. In util-linux 2.39.1 through 2.41.4 and 2.42 through 2.42.1, the SUID `mount` utility reads the attacker-controlled `LIBMOUNT_FORCE_MOUNT2` environment variable with `getenv()`, allowing a local low-privileged
user to force the non-atomic legacy bind-mount path. With an `/etc/fstab` bind mount authorized by `user` or `users` and protected by `nosuid`, `noexec`, or `nodev`, an attacker can race the window between the initial bind mount and the remount that applies those security flags and execute a SUID program from the temporarily unprotected mount, potentially gaining root privileges. This issue is fixed in 2.41.5 and 2.42.2. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netfs: Fix zeropoint update where i_size > remote_i_size
Fix the update of the zero point[*] by netfs_release_folio() when there is
uncommitted data in the pagecache beyond the folio being released but the
on-server EOF is in this folio (ie. i_size > remote_i_size). The update
needs to limit zero_point to remote_i_size, not i_size as i_size is a local
phenomenon reflecting updates made locally to the pagecache, not stuff
written to the server. remote_i_size tracks the server's i_size.
[*] The zero point is the file position from which we can assume that the
server will just return zeros, so we can avoid generating reads.
Note that netfs_invalidate_folio() probably doesn't need fixing as
zero_point should be updated by setattr after truncation or fallocate.
Found with:
fsx -q -N 1000000 -p 10000 -o 128000 -l 600000 \
/xfstest.test/junk --replay-ops=junk.fsxops
using the following as junk.fsxops:
truncate 0x0 0x1bbae 0x82864
write 0x3ef2e 0xf9c8 0x1bbae
write 0x67e05 0xcb5a 0x4e8f6
mapread 0x57781 0x85b6 0x7495f
copy_range 0x5d3d 0x10329 0x54fac 0x7495f
write 0x64710 0x1c2b 0x7495f
mapread 0x64000 0x1000 0x7495f
on cifs with the default cache option.
It shows read-gaps on folio 0x64 failing with a short read (ie. it hits
EOF) if the FMODE_READ check is commented out in netfs_perform_write():
if (//(file->f_mode & FMODE_READ) ||
netfs_is_cache_enabled(ctx)) {
and no fscache. This was initially found with the generic/522 xfstest. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
Bluetooth: MGMT: validate advertising TLV before type checks
tlv_data_is_valid() reads each advertising data field length from
data[i], then inspects data[i + 1] for managed EIR types before
checking that the current field still fits inside the supplied buffer.
A malformed field whose length byte is the last byte of the buffer can
therefore make the parser read one byte past the advertising data.
KASAN reported the following when a malformed MGMT_OP_ADD_ADVERTISING
request reached that path:
BUG: KASAN: vmalloc-out-of-bounds in tlv_data_is_valid()
Read of size 1
Call trace:
tlv_data_is_valid()
add_advertising()
hci_mgmt_cmd()
hci_sock_sendmsg()
Move the existing element-length check before any type-octet inspection
so each non-empty element is proven to contain its type byte before the
parser looks at data[i + 1]. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ALSA: control: Validate buf_len before strnlen() in snd_ctl_elem_init_enum_names()
snd_ctl_elem_init_enum_names() advances pointer p through the names
buffer while decrementing buf_len. If buf_len reaches zero but items
remain, the next iteration calls strnlen(p, 0).
While strnlen(p, 0) returns 0 and would hit the existing name_len == 0
error path, CONFIG_FORTIFY_SOURCE's fortified strnlen() first checks
maxlen against __builtin_dynamic_object_size(). When Clang loses track
of p's object size inside the loop, this triggers a BRK exception panic
before the return value is examined.
Add a buf_len == 0 guard at the loop entry to prevent calling fortified
strnlen() on an exhausted buffer.

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bridge: br_nd_send: validate ND option lengths
br_nd_send() walks ND options according to option-provided lengths.
A malformed option can make the parser advance beyond the computed
option span or use a too-short source LLADDR option payload.
Validate option lengths against the remaining NS option area before
advancing, and only read source LLADDR when the option is large enough
for an Ethernet address. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
mtd: Avoid boot crash in RedBoot partition table parser
Given CONFIG_FORTIFY_SOURCE=y and a recent compiler,
commit 439a1bcac648 ("fortify: Use __builtin_dynamic_object_size() when
available") produces the warning below and an oops.

As Kees said, "'names' is pointing to the final 'namelen' many bytes
of the allocation ... 'namelen' could be basically any length at all.
This fortify warning looks legit to me -- this code used to be reading
beyond the end of the allocation."
Since the size of the dynamic allocation is calculated with strlen()
we can use strcmp() instead of memcmp() and remain within bounds. |
