CVE-2025-8732 4 Gnome, Ibm, Siemens and 1 more 6 Libxml2, Aix, Vios and 3 more 2026-06-02 3.3 Low
A vulnerability was found in libxml2 up to 2.14.5. It has been declared as problematic. This vulnerability affects the function xmlParseSGMLCatalog of the component xmlcatalog. The manipulation leads to uncontrolled recursion. Attacking locally is a requirement. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The real existence of this vulnerability is still doubted at the moment. The code maintainer explains, that "[t]he issue can only be triggered with untrusted SGML catalogs and it makes absolutely no sense to use untrusted catalogs. I also doubt that anyone is still using SGML catalogs at all."
CVE-2025-6052 2 Gnome, Redhat 2 Glib, Enterprise Linux 2026-06-02 3.7 Low
A flaw was found in how GLib’s GString manages memory when adding data to strings. If a string is already very large, combining it with more input can cause a hidden overflow in the size calculation. This makes the system think it has enough memory when it doesn’t. As a result, data may be written past the end of the allocated memory, leading to crashes or memory corruption.
CVE-2026-10028 2 Gnome, Redhat 2 Glib-networking, Enterprise Linux 2026-05-30 4.3 Medium
A flaw was found in glib-networking. A remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability by presenting a specially crafted certificate chain to an application that uses glib-networking with the GnuTLS backend enabled and performs certificate verification. This crafted chain, which contains circular issuer relationships, can cause an infinite loop during certificate verification. The unbounded traversal consumes excessive CPU resources, leading to a denial of service for the affected process or worker.
CVE-2026-6324 2 Gnome, Redhat 2 Libsoup, Enterprise Linux 2026-05-30 4.8 Medium
A flaw was found in libsoup. A remote attacker could exploit an unsigned to signed conversion error in the `soup_body_input_stream_read_chunked()` function by sending a malicious HTTP request. This vulnerability occurs when libsoup operates behind a non-libsoup proxy server or as a proxy in front of a non-libsoup backend server. Successful exploitation can allow an attacker to bypass security controls, poison web caches, or gain unauthorized access.
CVE-2020-37011 1 Gnome 2 Fonts Viewer, Gnome-font-viewer 2026-05-26 7.5 High
Gnome Fonts Viewer 3.34.0 contains a heap corruption vulnerability that allows attackers to trigger an out-of-bounds write by crafting a malicious TTF font file. Attackers can generate a specially crafted TTF file with an oversized pattern to exhaust memory through repeated malloc() calls and potentially crash the gnome-font-viewer process.
CVE-2026-4271 2 Gnome, Redhat 3 Libsoup, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus 2026-05-19 5.3 Medium
A flaw was found in libsoup, a library for handling HTTP requests. This vulnerability, known as a Use-After-Free, occurs in the HTTP/2 server implementation. A remote attacker can exploit this by sending specially crafted HTTP/2 requests that cause authentication failures. This can lead to the application attempting to access memory that has already been freed, potentially causing application instability or crashes, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS).
CVE-2026-44931 1 Gnome 1 Malcontent 2026-05-14 N/A
The newly introduced RecordUsage D-Bus method https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/pwithnall/malcontent/-/blob/0.14.0/libmalcontent-timer/child-timer-service.c in malcontent-timerd allows arbitrary users in the system to slowly fill up disk space in /var/lib/malcontent-timerd
CVE-2025-9714 2 Gnome, Xmlsoft 2 Libxml2, Libxml2 2026-05-12 6.2 Medium
Uncontrolled recursion in XPath evaluation in libxml2 up to and including version 2.9.14 allows a local attacker to cause a stack overflow via crafted expressions. XPath processing functions `xmlXPathRunEval`, `xmlXPathCtxtCompile`, and `xmlXPathEvalExpr` were resetting recursion depth to zero before making potentially recursive calls. When such functions were called recursively this could allow for uncontrolled recursion and lead to a stack overflow. These functions now preserve recursion depth across recursive calls, allowing recursion depth to be controlled.
CVE-2024-34397 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Gnome and 2 more 6 Debian Linux, Fedora, Glib and 3 more 2026-05-12 5.2 Medium
An issue was discovered in GNOME GLib before 2.78.5, and 2.79.x and 2.80.x before 2.80.1. When a GDBus-based client subscribes to signals from a trusted system service such as NetworkManager on a shared computer, other users of the same computer can send spoofed D-Bus signals that the GDBus-based client will wrongly interpret as having been sent by the trusted system service. This could lead to the GDBus-based client behaving incorrectly, with an application-dependent impact.
CVE-2026-2708 3 Gnome, Libsoup, Redhat 3 Libsoup, Libsoup, Enterprise Linux 2026-05-04 3.7 Low
A request smuggling vulnerability exists in libsoup's HTTP/1 header parsing logic. The soup_message_headers_append_common() function in libsoup/soup-message-headers.c unconditionally appends each header value without validating for duplicate or conflicting Content-Length fields. This allows an attacker to send HTTP requests containing multiple Content-Length headers with differing values.
CVE-2026-2369 3 Gnome, Libsoup, Redhat 3 Libsoup, Libsoup, Enterprise Linux 2026-04-28 6.5 Medium
A flaw was found in libsoup. An integer underflow vulnerability occurs when processing content with a zero-length resource, leading to a buffer overread. This can allow an attacker to potentially access sensitive information or cause an application level denial of service.
CVE-2007-3257 2 Gnome, Redhat 2 Evolution, Enterprise Linux 2026-04-23 N/A
Camel (camel-imap-folder.c) in the mailer component for Evolution Data Server 1.11 allows remote IMAP servers to execute arbitrary code via a negative SEQUENCE value in GData, which is used as an array index.
CVE-2007-1266 1 Gnome 1 Evolution 2026-04-23 N/A
Evolution 2.8.1 and earlier does not properly use the --status-fd argument when invoking GnuPG, which prevents Evolution from visually distinguishing between signed and unsigned portions of OpenPGP messages with multiple components, which allows remote attackers to forge the contents of a message without detection.
CVE-2007-0999 2 Gnome, Redhat 2 Ekiga, Enterprise Linux 2026-04-23 N/A
Format string vulnerability in Ekiga 2.0.3, and probably other versions, allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via unspecified vectors, a different vulnerability than CVE-2007-1006.
CVE-2007-0010 2 Gnome, Redhat 2 Gtk, Enterprise Linux 2026-04-23 N/A
The GdkPixbufLoader function in GIMP ToolKit (GTK+) in GTK 2 (gtk2) before 2.4.13 allows context-dependent attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) via a malformed image file.
CVE-2006-6698 1 Gnome 1 Gconf 2026-04-23 N/A
The GConf daemon (gconfd) in GConf 2.14.0 creates temporary files under directories with names based on the username, even when GCONF_GLOBAL_LOCKS is not set, which allows local users to cause a denial of service by creating the directories ahead of time, which prevents other users from using Gnome.
CVE-2006-6105 1 Gnome 1 Gdm 2026-04-23 N/A
Format string vulnerability in the host chooser window (gdmchooser) in GNOME Foundation Display Manager (gdm) allows local users to execute arbitrary code via format string specifiers in a hostname, which are used in an error dialog.
CVE-2007-3381 2 Gnome, Redhat 2 Gdm, Enterprise Linux 2026-04-23 N/A
The GDM daemon in GNOME Display Manager (GDM) before 2.14.13, 2.16.x before 2.16.7, 2.18.x before 2.18.4, and 2.19.x before 2.19.5 does not properly handle NULL return values from the g_strsplit function, which allows local users to cause a denial of service (persistent daemon crash) via a crafted command to the daemon's socket, related to (1) gdm.c and (2) gdmconfig.c in daemon/, and (3) gdmconfig.c and (4) gdmflexiserver.c in gui/.
CVE-2009-3609 7 Foolabs, Glyph And Cog, Glyphandcog and 4 more 7 Xpdf, Pdftops, Xpdfreader and 4 more 2026-04-23 N/A
Integer overflow in the ImageStream::ImageStream function in Stream.cc in Xpdf before 3.02pl4 and Poppler before 0.12.1, as used in GPdf, kdegraphics KPDF, and CUPS pdftops, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) via a crafted PDF document that triggers a NULL pointer dereference or buffer over-read.
CVE-2009-3608 8 Foolabs, Glyph And Cog, Glyphandcog and 5 more 8 Xpdf, Pdftops, Xpdfreader and 5 more 2026-04-23 N/A
