CVSS v3.1 |
| A heap-based memory vulnerability has been identified in the Postscript interpreter in various Lexmark devices. The vulnerability can be leveraged by an attacker to execute arbitrary code. |
| Velocidex WinPmem versions below 4.1 suffer from an Out of Bounds Write vulnerability. By using an IO Control, a user space program can trick the driver into writing a 0 into any chosen memory location. In conjunction with information leakage from the WinPmem driver, attackers can discover the location in memory for the g_CiOptions global symbol. This can be leveraged to disable signed driver enforcement on the target system - allowing attackers to load unsigned drivers. |
| Server information leak for the CDA Server process memory can occur when an error is generated in response to a specially crafted message. See Honeywell Security Notification for recommendations on upgrading and versioning. |
| Server communication with a controller can lead to remote code execution using a specially crafted message from the controller. See Honeywell Security Notification for recommendations on upgrading and versioning. |
| The vulnerability described by CVE-2023-0972 has been additionally discovered in Silicon Labs Z-Wave end devices. This vulnerability may allow an unauthenticated attacker within Z-Wave range to overflow a stack buffer, leading to arbitrary code execution. |
| Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command ('OS
Command Injection') vulnerability in ZkTeco-based OEM devices allows OS
Command Injection.
Since all the found command implementations are executed from the
superuser, their impact is the maximum possible.
This issue affects
ZkTeco-based OEM devices (ZkTeco ProFace X, Smartec ST-FR043, Smartec
ST-FR041ME and possibly others) with the ZAM170-NF-1.8.25-7354-Ver1.0.0
and possibly other. |
| IDExpert from CHANGING Information Technology does not properly validate a specific parameter in the administrator interface, allowing remote attackers with administrative privileges to inject and execute OS commands on the server. |
| Erlang/OTP is a set of libraries for the Erlang programming language. Prior to versions OTP-27.3.1, 26.2.5.10, and 25.3.2.19, a maliciously formed KEX init message can result with high memory usage. Implementation does not verify RFC specified limits on algorithm names (64 characters) provided in KEX init message. Big KEX init packet may lead to inefficient processing of the error data. As a result, large amount of memory will be allocated for processing malicious data. Versions OTP-27.3.1, OTP-26.2.5.10, and OTP-25.3.2.19 fix the issue. Some workarounds are available. One may set option `parallel_login` to `false` and/or reduce the `max_sessions` option. |
| Out of bounds write in firmware for some Intel(R) FPGA products before version 2.9.0 may allow escalation of privilege and information disclosure. |
| SECOM WRTR-304GN-304TW-UPSC does not properly filter user input in the specific functionality. Unauthenticated remote attackers can exploit this vulnerability to inject and execute arbitrary system commands on the device. |
| NVIDIA nvJPEG2000 library contains a vulnerability where an attacker can cause an out-of-bounds write issue by means of a specially crafted JPEG2000 file. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to code execution and data tampering. |
| NVIDIA nvJPEG2000 library contains a vulnerability where an attacker can cause an out-of-bounds write issue by means of a specially crafted JPEG2000 file. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to code execution and data tampering. |
| Out-of-bounds write vulnerability exists in FUJIFILM Business Innovation MFPs. A specially crafted IPP (Internet Printing Protocol) or LPD (Line Printer Daemon) packet may cause a denial-of-service (DoS) condition on an affected MFP. Resetting the MFP is required to recover from the denial-of-service (DoS) condition. |
| An out-of-bounds write vulnerability exists in the
cv_upgrade_sensor_firmware functionality of Dell ControlVault3 prior to 5.15.10.14 and Dell ControlVault 3 Plus prior to 6.2.26.36.
A specially crafted ControlVault API call can lead to an out-of-bounds
write. An attacker can issue an API call to trigger this vulnerability. |
| Meridian Technique Materialise OrthoView through 7.5.1 allows OS Command Injection when servlet sharing is enabled. |
| An OS command injection vulnerability within the update functionality may allow an authenticated administrator to execute unauthorized arbitrary OS commands.
Users with administrative privileges may upload update packages to upgrade the versions of Nozomi Networks Guardian and CMC.
While these updates are signed and their signatures are validated prior to installation, an improper signature validation check has been identified.
This issue could potentially enable users to execute commands remotely on the appliance, thereby impacting confidentiality, integrity, and availability. |
| An issue was discovered in Dolby UDC 4.5 through 4.13. A crash of the DD+ decoder process can occur when a malformed DD+ bitstream is processed. When Evolution data is processed by evo_priv.c from the DD+ bitstream, the decoder writes that data into a buffer. The length calculation for a write can overflow due to an integer wraparound. This can lead to the allocated buffer being too small, and the out-of-bounds check of the subsequent write to be ineffective, leading to an out-of-bounds write. |
| An OS command injection vulnerability exists in multiple Raidsonic NAS devices—specifically tested on IB-NAS5220 and IB-NAS4220—via the unauthenticated timeHandler.cgi endpoint exposed through the web interface. The CGI script fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input in the timeZone parameter of a POST request, allowing remote attackers to inject arbitrary shell commands. |
| In MITRE Caldera through 4.2.0 and 5.0.0 before 35bc06e, a Remote Code Execution (RCE) vulnerability was found in the dynamic agent (implant) compilation functionality of the server. This allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on the server that Caldera is running on via a crafted web request to the Caldera server API used for compiling and downloading of Caldera's Sandcat or Manx agent (implants). This web request can use the gcc -extldflags linker flag with sub-commands. |
| File::Find::Rule through 0.34 for Perl is vulnerable to Arbitrary Code Execution when `grep()` encounters a crafted filename.
A file handle is opened with the 2 argument form of `open()` allowing an attacker controlled filename to provide the MODE parameter to `open()`, turning the filename into a command to be executed.
Example:
$ mkdir /tmp/poc; echo > "/tmp/poc/|id"
$ perl -MFile::Find::Rule \
-E 'File::Find::Rule->grep("foo")->in("/tmp/poc")'
uid=1000(user) gid=1000(user) groups=1000(user),100(users) |
