CVSS v3.1 |
| An OS command injection issue exists in multiple versions of TB-eye network recorders and AHD recorders. If this vulnerability is exploited, an arbitrary OS command may be executed by an attacker who is logging in to the device. |
| An OS command injection vulnerability exists in sar2html version 3.2.2 and prior via the plot parameter in index.php. The application fails to sanitize user-supplied input before using it in a system-level context. Remote, unauthenticated attackers can inject shell commands by appending them to the plot parameter (e.g., ?plot=;id) in a crafted GET request. The output of the command is displayed in the application's interface after interacting with the host selection UI. Successful exploitation leads to arbitrary command execution on the underlying system. Exploitation evidence was observed by the Shadowserver Foundation on 2025-02-04 UTC. |
| A vulnerable feature in the command line interface of EdgeConnect SD-WAN could allow an authenticated attacker to exploit built-in script execution capabilities. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the underlying operating system if the feature is enabled without proper security measures. |
| A vulnerability exists in the HPE Aruba Networking EdgeConnect SD-WAN Gateways Command Line Interface that allows remote authenticated users to run arbitrary commands on the underlying host. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability will result in the ability to execute arbitrary commands as root on the underlying operating system. |
| A physical attacker with no privileges can gain full control of the affected device due to improper neutralization of special elements used in an OS Command ('OS Command Injection') when loading a config file from a USB drive. |
| Insufficient bounds checking in AMD TEE (Trusted Execution Environment) could allow an attacker with a compromised userspace to invoke a command with malformed arguments leading to out of bounds memory access, potentially resulting in loss of integrity or availability. |
| A privilege escalation vulnerability was discovered in the web interface or SSH captive command shell interface of XCC that could allow an authenticated XCC user with elevated privileges to perform command injection via a specially crafted request. |
| ReQuest Serious Play F3 Media Server 7.0.3 contains an unauthenticated remote code execution vulnerability that allows attackers to execute arbitrary commands as the web server user. Attackers can upload PHP executable files via the Quick File Uploader page, resulting in remote code execution on the server. |
| Aviatrix Controller versions prior to 7.1.4208, 7.2.5090, and 8.0.0 fail to sanitize user input prior to passing the input to command line utilities, allowing command injection via special characters in filenames |
| An issue was discovered on FIRSTNUM JC21A-04 devices through 2.01ME/FN that allows authenticated attackers to execute arbitrary OS system commands with root privileges via crafted payloads to the xml_action.cgi?method= endpoint. |
| Diagnostics command injection vulnerability |
| An OS Command Injection vulnerability affecting documentation server on 3DEXPERIENCE from Release 3DEXPERIENCE R2022x through Release 3DEXPERIENCE R2024x, SIMULIA Abaqus from Release 2022 through Release 2024, SIMULIA Isight from Release 2022 through Release 2024 and CATIA Composer from Release R2023 through Release R2024. A specially crafted HTTP request can lead to arbitrary command execution. |
| Unchecked output buffer may allowed arbitrary code execution in SMM and potentially result in SMM memory corruption. |
| Pinger 1.0 contains a remote code execution vulnerability that allows attackers to inject shell commands through the ping and socket parameters. Attackers can exploit the unsanitized input in ping.php to write arbitrary PHP files and execute system commands by appending shell metacharacters. |
| A remote command execution vulnerability exists in IPFire before version 2.19 Core Update 101 via the 'proxy.cgi' CGI interface. An authenticated attacker can inject arbitrary shell commands through crafted values in the NCSA user creation form fields, leading to command execution with web server privileges. |
| When decoding an OpenEXR file that uses DWAA or DWAB compression, there's an implicit assumption that the height and width are divisible by 8.
If the height or width of the image is not divisible by 8, the copy loops at [0] and [1] will continue to write until the next multiple of 8.
The buffer td->uncompressed_data is allocated in decode_block based on the precise height and width of the image, so the "rounded-up" multiple of 8 in the copy loop can exceed the buffer bounds, and the write block starting at [2] can corrupt following heap memory.
We recommend upgrading to version 8.0 or beyond. |
| When calculating the content path in handling of MPEG-DASH manifests, there's an out-of-bounds NUL-byte write one byte past the end of the buffer. When we call xmlNodeGetContent below [0], it returns a buffer precisely allocated to match the string length, using strdup internally. If this buffer is not an empty string, it is assigned to root_url at [1].If the last (non-NUL) byte in this buffer is not '/' then we append '/' in-place at [2]. This will write two bytes into the buffer, starting at the last valid byte in the buffer, writing the NUL byte beyond the end of the allocated buffer.
We recommend upgrading to version 8.0 or beyond. |
| A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in Digital China DCME-520 up to 20250320. This issue affects some unknown processing of the file /usr/local/WWW/function/audit/newstatistics/mon_merge_stat_hist.php. The manipulation of the argument type_name leads to os command injection. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. Other parameters might be affected as well. |
| An unauthenticated OS command injection vulnerability exists in the Shenzhen Aitemi M300 Wi-Fi Repeater (hardware model MT02) via the 'time' parameter of the '/protocol.csp?' endpoint. The input is processed by the internal date '-s' command without rebooting or disrupting HTTP service. Unlike other injection points, this vector allows remote compromise without triggering visible configuration changes. |
| GitHub Kanban MCP Server is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for managing GitHub issues in Kanban board format and streamlining LLM task management. Version 0.3.0 of the MCP Server is written in a way that is vulnerable to command injection vulnerability attacks as part of some of its MCP Server tool definition and implementation. The MCP Server exposes the tool `add_comment` which relies on Node.js child process API `exec` to execute the GitHub (`gh`) command, is an unsafe and vulnerable API if concatenated with untrusted user input. As of time of publication, no known patches are available. |
