CVE-2026-80711 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-31 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: power: supply: max17040: handle missing status supplier MAX17040 does not report charger state itself, so the driver forwards POWER_SUPPLY_PROP_STATUS to a supplier power supply. If no supplier is registered, power_supply_get_property_from_supplier() returns -ENODEV and leaves the output value untouched. max17040_get_property() currently ignores that error and returns success, so userspace can read an uninitialized status value from the battery power supply. This happens on systems that use the fuel gauge without a charger supplier relationship in firmware. Return POWER_SUPPLY_STATUS_UNKNOWN when no supplier provides STATUS, and propagate other supplier lookup errors.

Uninitialized resource in ANGLE in Google Chrome prior to 152.0.7977.65 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to read memory outside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
CVE-2026-16071 1 Redhat 8 Build Keycloak, Build Of Keycloak, Data Grid 8 and 5 more 2026-08-31 5.4 Medium
A flaw was found in the LDAP storage provider of Keycloak, which is used to federate user identities from external directories. The issue occurs when a delegated administrator performs a search using a specific LDAP entry Distinguished Name (DN). Due to missing validation, the system allows lookups for users located outside the configured search boundary, leading to the disclosure of account information from unauthorized parts of the directory and unintended importing of those users into local storage.
CVE-2026-80543 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-28 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: s390/zcrypt: Pad trailing CCA or EP11 message with zeros The both functions xcrb_msg_to_type6cprb_msgx() and xcrb_msg_to_type6_ep11cprb_msgx() copy the user space message into a kernel buffer based on the message length. But on further processing the message is supposed to be 4 byte length adjusted. Thus up to 3 bytes of uninitialized kernel memory are forwarded to further processing steps and may unwanted expose kernel memory to the crypto card firmware. This patch contains code to pad the gap between user space copied message and message buffer length sent down to further processing of the CCA or EP11 message to zeros.
CVE-2026-45736 2 Websockets, Ws Project 2 Ws, Ws 2026-08-28 4.4 Medium
ws is an open source WebSocket client and server for Node.js. Prior to 8.20.1, the websocket.close() implementation is vulnerable to uninitialized memory disclosure when a TypedArray is passed as the reason argument. This vulnerability is fixed in 8.20.1.
CVE-2026-80567 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-28 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Input: synaptics-rmi4 - propagate F54 worker errors to V4L2 queue Previously, rmi_f54_buffer_queue() waited for the worker thread to finish but ignored whether it succeeded. If the worker failed (e.g., due to a timeout or register read failure), the queue thread would silently return success, delivering stale or uninitialized memory to userspace. Add a 'report_error' field to struct f54_data to store the worker's exit status. Check this field in rmi_f54_buffer_queue() after the worker finishes, and mark the buffer as VB2_BUF_STATE_ERROR if an error occurred.
CVE-2026-78977 1 Google 2 Android, Chrome 2026-08-27 6.5 Medium

CVE-2026-0636 1 Bouncycastle 1 Bc-java 2026-08-27 6.5 Medium
Improper neutralization of special elements used in an LDAP query ('LDAP injection') vulnerability in Legion of the Bouncy Castle Inc. BC-JAVA bcprov on all (prov modules). This vulnerability is associated with program files LDAPStoreHelper. This issue affects BC-JAVA: from 1.74 before 1.80.2, from 1.81 before 1.81.1, from 1.82 before 1.84.
CVE-2026-80523 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-27 7.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: clk: spacemit: k3: set hdma clock as critical HDMA clock is responsible for the internal TCM access path of X100 RISC-V core, so set the clock flag as critical to prevent it from being shut off, otherwise the Linux system will hang, for example in the case of a vector instruction access generates a page fault.
CVE-2026-62986 2026-08-25 4.3 Medium
OpenEXR is the reference implementation and specification for the EXR image file format, widely used in the motion picture industry. In versions 3.3.0 through 3.3.12 and 3.4.0 through 3.4.13, the PyOpenEXR Python bindings return stale heap data when reading a crafted deep scanline EXR that uses layer-prefixed RGB channels. With the default channel coalescing (separate_channels=False), the wrapper groups channels such as left.R, left.G, and left.B into a single RGB sample array, but the lane-offset calculation in PyPart::setDeepSliceData() only recognizes the exact unprefixed names G, B, and A. As a result, prefixed channels like left.G and left.B are decoded into lane 0 while lanes 1 and 2 are left uninitialized and returned to Python. A Python application that reads untrusted deep EXR files through the default OpenEXR.File API and then logs, serializes, previews, or otherwise processes the resulting NumPy sample arrays may expose uninitialized same-process heap contents, in addition to receiving incorrect green and blue channel data. This issue is fixed in versions 3.3.13 and 3.4.14.
CVE-2026-7141 1 Vllm 1 Vllm 2026-08-25 5.6 Medium
A vulnerability was found in vLLM up to 0.19.0. The affected element is the function has_mamba_layers of the file vllm/v1/kv_cache_interface.py of the component KV Block Handler. Performing a manipulation results in uninitialized resource. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The attack is considered to have high complexity. The exploitability is described as difficult. The exploit has been made public and could be used. The existence of this vulnerability is still disputed at present. The proposed patch did not fix the issue. A 3rd party explains: "The divergence could be explained by a benign and expected vLLM behavior where vLLM server could group concurrent requests together resulting in different input shapes based on varying request arrival time. The differences in grouped input shapes could call different kernels with could produce difference results due to rounding and differences in order of operations. There is an environment variable VLLM_BATCH_INVARIANT=1 for users that desire to have deterministic output with temperature 0.0."
CVE-2026-19448 1 Ibm 3 Aix, Powervm Vios, Vios 2026-08-25 6.5 Medium
IBM AIX 7.2, and 7.3 and IBM PowerVM VIOS 4.1 A stack memory corruption vulnerability exists in the AIX IPsec ESP decapsulation handler. Successful exploitation may corrupt kernel stack state and cause a system crash, resulting in denial of service.
