| CVE-2020-15523 | 3 Microsoft, Netapp, Python | 3 Windows, Snapcenter, Python | 2026-10-14 | 7.8 High |
| In Python 3.6 through 3.6.10, 3.7 through 3.7.8, 3.8 through 3.8.4rc1, and 3.9 through 3.9.0b4 on Windows, a Trojan horse python3.dll might be used in cases where CPython is embedded in a native application. This occurs because python3X.dll may use an invalid search path for python3.dll loading (after Py_SetPath has been used). NOTE: this issue CANNOT occur when using python.exe from a standard (non-embedded) Python installation on Windows. | ||||
| CVE-2020-8315 | 1 Python | 1 Python | 2026-10-14 | 5.5 Medium |
| In Python (CPython) 3.6 through 3.6.10, 3.7 through 3.7.6, and 3.8 through 3.8.1, an insecure dependency load upon launch on Windows 7 may result in an attacker's copy of api-ms-win-core-path-l1-1-0.dll being loaded and used instead of the system's copy. Windows 8 and later are unaffected. | ||||
| CVE-2019-5443 | 4 Haxx, Microsoft, Netapp and 1 more | 10 Curl, Windows, Oncommand Insight and 7 more | 2026-10-14 | 7.8 High |
| A non-privileged user or program can put code and a config file in a known non-privileged path (under C:/usr/local/) that will make curl <= 7.65.1 automatically run the code (as an openssl "engine") on invocation. If that curl is invoked by a privileged user it can do anything it wants. | ||||
| CVE-2026-103847 | 2026-10-14 | 8.6 High | ||
| Dimension is affected by an Untrusted Search Path vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code. A local attacker with user permissions could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must run the application. Scope is changed. | ||||
| CVE-2026-83509 | 1 Microsoft | 15 Windows 10 1607, Windows 10 1809, Windows 10 21h2 and 12 more | 2026-10-13 | 7 High |
| Untrusted search path in Windows Setup Files Cleanup allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. | ||||
| CVE-2026-83506 | 1 Microsoft | 15 Windows 10 1607, Windows 10 1809, Windows 10 21h2 and 12 more | 2026-10-13 | 7.8 High |
| Untrusted search path in Servicing Stack Updates allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. | ||||
| CVE-2026-83505 | 1 Microsoft | 13 Windows 10 1607, Windows 10 1809, Windows 10 21h2 and 10 more | 2026-10-13 | 7 High |
| Time-of-check time-of-use (toctou) race condition in Windows Setup Files Cleanup allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. | ||||
| CVE-2026-69979 | 1 Microsoft | 9 Windows 10 21h2, Windows 10 22h2, Windows 11 23h2 and 6 more | 2026-10-13 | 5.5 Medium |
| Improper protection of alternate path in Windows AppX Deployment Service allows an authorized attacker to bypass a security feature locally. | ||||
| CVE-2026-15577 | 2026-10-13 | 6.5 Medium | ||
| A user or service account with read-only access to Git Sync (provisioning) connections can modify a connection's configuration through its status subresource (incorrect authorization). On Grafana 12.4 the affected API is only available when the experimental provisioning feature toggle is enabled. | ||||
| CVE-2026-4869 | 1 Flexera | 1 Installshield | 2026-10-13 | N/A |
| A potential privilege escalation issue was identified in InstallShield version 2025 R2 and earlier when running compressed Basic MSI setup with Prerequisites from an insecure location. If a local administrator launches a compressed Setup.exe with Prerequisites from an unsecured location, the Prerequisite installers also might load from an unsecured location, potentially leading to privilege escalation. | ||||
| CVE-2020-9287 | 1 Fortinet | 2 Forticlient Emergency Management Server, Forticlientems | 2026-10-13 | 7.5 High |

| CVE-2026-75782 | 1 Ibm | 1 Aspera Enterprise Webapps | 2026-10-13 | 7.8 High |
| IBM Aspera Enterprise WebApps 1.0.0 through 1.0.6 could allow a local attacker to gain elevated privileges due to a misconfigured PATH environment variable. | ||||
| CVE-2026-108938 | 1 Code-projects | 1 Matrimonial System | 2026-10-13 | 5.3 Medium |
| A flaw has been found in code-projects Matrimonial System 1.0. This issue affects some unknown processing of the file db/matrimony.sql. This manipulation causes files or directories accessible. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been published and may be used. | ||||
| CVE-2026-108693 | 1 Imagemagick | 1 Imagemagick | 2026-10-11 | 7 High |
| ImageMagick on Windows through 7.1.2-33 and 6.9.13-58 contains an uncontrolled search path vulnerability in NTGhostscriptEXE() that launches gswin64c.exe by bare name when Ghostscript is unregistered. Attackers can plant a malicious gswin64c.exe in the working directory to execute code with ImageMagick privileges when PDF, PostScript, or EPS files are converted. | ||||
| CVE-2026-106505 | 2 Backstage, Linuxfoundation | 4 Backstage, Plugin-techdocs-node, Backstage and 1 more | 2026-10-09 | 7.7 High |
| Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 1.14.6 and 1.15.4, the @backstage/plugin-techdocs-node package is affected by bypass of mkdocs configuration sanitizer in techdocs backend. Users with the ability to commit changes to a repository that uses TechDocs can circumvent the MkDocs configuration file sanitizer introduced in response to CVE-2026-25153 and execute arbitrary code on the TechDocs backend host during documentation generation. This issue is fixed in versions 1.14.6 and 1.15.4. | ||||
| CVE-2026-107615 | 1 Glavsoft | 1 Tightvnc | 2026-10-09 | 7.8 High |
| An uncontrolled search path element vulnerability in GlavSoft TightVNC Server for Windows before 2.8.88 allows a local authenticated user to execute arbitrary code with SYSTEM privileges. DynamicLibrary::init() (and ThemeLib) load screenhooks32.dll / screenhooks64.dll with LoadLibrary() using a bare file name and no LOAD_LIBRARY_SEARCH_* flags, so the TightVNC service follows the default DLL search order and loads an attacker-planted DLL from a writable directory earlier in that order (for example, an installation directory with permissive ACLs). | ||||
| CVE-2018-16156 | 1 Fujitsu | 1 Paperstream Ip \(twain\) | 2026-10-08 | 7.8 High |
| In PaperStream IP (TWAIN) 1.42.0.5685 (Service Update 7), the FJTWSVIC service running with SYSTEM privilege processes unauthenticated messages received over the FjtwMkic_Fjicube_32 named pipe. One of these message processing functions attempts to dynamically load the UninOldIS.dll library and executes an exported function named ChangeUninstallString. The default install does not contain this library and therefore if any DLL with that name exists in any directory listed in the PATH variable, it can be used to escalate to SYSTEM level privilege. | ||||
| CVE-2020-0570 | 2 Qt, Redhat | 2 Qt, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-08 | 7.3 High |
| Uncontrolled search path in the QT Library before 5.14.0, 5.12.7 and 5.9.10 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable elevation of privilege via local access. | ||||
