| CVE-2026-86415 | 1 Curl | 1 Curl | 2026-10-18 | 3.7 Low |
| A flaw was found in curl. In builds configured with the Microsoft Schannel Transport Layer Security (TLS) backend, libcurl's connection cache fails to evaluate client certificate authentication settings when handling HTTP redirects. A malicious server can redirect a transfer to a different destination, causing curl to inappropriately reuse an already authenticated connection. This issue can result in information disclosure by exposing client certificates and credentials to unintended origins. | ||||
| CVE-2026-107928 | 1 Curl | 1 Curl | 2026-10-17 | 4.8 Medium |
| A flaw was found in curl. When curl is built with the GnuTLS library, a blocked transmission during communication with a malicious WebSocket server can trigger an out-of-bounds memory read. A malicious server can exploit this flaw to expose sensitive data from neighboring memory buffers or crash the client, leading to information disclosure or a Denial of Service (DoS). | ||||
| CVE-2026-107929 | 1 Curl | 1 Curl | 2026-10-17 | 3.7 Low |
| A flaw was found in curl. When connection pooling is used with forced local interface binding options, curl fails to include the source interface configuration in its connection reuse cache. An attacker able to initiate network requests in an application using pooled connections can cause subsequent transfers to inadvertently reuse an existing connection. This behavior causes outbound network traffic to be transmitted through the wrong source address, potentially routing requests through an unintended network interface. | ||||
| CVE-2025-0665 | 3 Curl, Haxx, Netapp | 15 Curl, Libcurl, Curl and 12 more | 2026-10-15 | 7 High |
| libcurl would wrongly close the same eventfd file descriptor twice when taking down a connection channel after having completed a threaded name resolve. | ||||
| CVE-2025-0167 | 3 Curl, Haxx, Netapp | 26 Curl, Curl, Bootstrap Os and 23 more | 2026-10-15 | 3.4 Low |
| When asked to use a `.netrc` file for credentials **and** to follow HTTP redirects, curl could leak the password used for the first host to the followed-to host under certain circumstances. This flaw only manifests itself if the netrc file has a `default` entry that omits both login and password. A rare circumstance. | ||||
| CVE-2024-8096 | 4 Curl, Debian, Haxx and 1 more | 16 Curl, Debian Linux, Curl and 13 more | 2026-10-15 | 6.5 Medium |
| When curl is told to use the Certificate Status Request TLS extension, often referred to as OCSP stapling, to verify that the server certificate is valid, it might fail to detect some OCSP problems and instead wrongly consider the response as fine. If the returned status reports another error than 'revoked' (like for example 'unauthorized') it is not treated as a bad certficate. | ||||
| CVE-2024-2466 | 5 Apple, Curl, Haxx and 2 more | 14 Macos, Libcurl, Curl and 11 more | 2026-10-15 | 6.5 Medium |
| libcurl did not check the server certificate of TLS connections done to a host specified as an IP address, when built to use mbedTLS. libcurl would wrongly avoid using the set hostname function when the specified hostname was given as an IP address, therefore completely skipping the certificate check. This affects all uses of TLS protocols (HTTPS, FTPS, IMAPS, POPS3, SMTPS, etc). | ||||
| CVE-2024-2398 | 6 Apple, Curl, Fedoraproject and 3 more | 27 Macos, Curl, Fedora and 24 more | 2026-10-15 | 8.6 High |
| When an application tells libcurl it wants to allow HTTP/2 server push, and the amount of received headers for the push surpasses the maximum allowed limit (1000), libcurl aborts the server push. When aborting, libcurl inadvertently does not free all the previously allocated headers and instead leaks the memory. Further, this error condition fails silently and is therefore not easily detected by an application. | ||||
| CVE-2026-82209 | 2 Curl, Haxx | 2 Curl, Curl | 2026-09-15 | 8.2 High |
| When libpsl support is enabled, libcurl fails to enforce the Public Suffix List boundary check when processing a `Set-Cookie` header where the `Domain` attribute explicitly matches an origin host that is itself a public suffix (e.g., `Domain=co.uk` set by `co.uk`). Instead of coercing it into a strict host-only cookie, libcurl saves the cookie with wildcard domain scope (`.co.uk`). Consequently, the cookie is inappropriately included in subsequent outbound requests or HTTP redirects to arbitrary sibling subdomains under the same public suffix (e.g., `attacker.co.uk`). | ||||
| CVE-2026-82208 | 2 Curl, Haxx | 2 Curl, Curl | 2026-09-15 | 7.5 High |
| With the wolfSSL backend, when CA caching is enabled and an `CURLOPT_SSL_CTX_FUNCTION` callback replaces the trust store, libcurl can silently reinstall the cached store after the callback returns. A certificate trusted by the cached store but rejected by the callback-selected store is then incorrectly accepted. | ||||
| CVE-2026-80255 | 2 Curl, Haxx | 2 Curl, Curl | 2026-09-15 | 7.5 High |
| A `Set-Cookie:` header using tab (horizontal tab, ASCII code 9) instead of space (ascii code 32) immediately before the `Secure` attribute causes curl to store the cookie without its Secure flag. The cookie might then wrongfully be sent over plaintext HTTP on subsequent requests to the same host. | ||||
| CVE-2026-80231 | 3 Curl, Haxx, Redhat | 3 Curl, Curl, Hummingbird | 2026-09-15 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw in libcurl makes it wrongly reuse an existing HTTPS connection setup for a given hostname even when using a different Native CA Store setting (`CURLSSLOPT_NATIVE_CA`) than when the connection was created. | ||||
| CVE-2026-80230 | 3 Curl, Haxx, Redhat | 3 Curl, Curl, Hummingbird | 2026-09-15 | 7.5 High |
| When `CURLOPT_PINNEDPUBLICKEY` is configured alongside options that disable standard peer verification (`CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYPEER = 0` and `CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYHOST = 0`), libcurl fails to enforce public key pinning on connections established without a presented server certificate. Bypassing the pinning check under these disabled-verification conditions allows unauthenticated connections to succeed when they should be rejected. | ||||
| CVE-2026-19931 | 2 Curl, Haxx | 2 Curl, Curl | 2026-09-15 | 9.8 Critical |
| A flaw in libcurl makes it wrongly reuse an HTTP connection setup for a given hostname using Negotiate authentication, when the initial request is done using empty credentials. This can make user B's request get sent over user A's previously authenticated connection. | ||||
| CVE-2026-18924 | 2 Curl, Haxx | 2 Curl, Curl | 2026-09-15 | 9.1 Critical |
| A flaw in libcurl's handling of HTTP/2 Server Push streams, when the parent handle is set to share connections with other handles, can lead to use-after-free in the cleanup process. | ||||
| CVE-2026-13608 | 2 Curl, Haxx | 2 Curl, Curl | 2026-09-15 | 7.4 High |
| A flaw in the libcurl SASL negotiation for LDAP authentication allows an incomplete handshake sequence to be misinterpreted as a successful cryptographic verification. An attacker executing a Man-in-the-Middle (MITM) attack can inject a premature or shortcut response that bypasses complete peer validation. | ||||
| CVE-2026-9547 | 2 Curl, Haxx | 2 Curl, Curl | 2026-09-15 | 7.4 High |
| When a libcurl-based application performs transfers via `SCP://` or `SFTP://` and utilizes the `CURLOPT_SSH_KEYFUNCTION` callback, it may silently accept an untrusted server. This vulnerability occurs when a server presents a host key type that does not match the specific key type already recorded for that host in the `known_hosts` file. Instead of rejecting the mismatch, the callback mechanism fails to properly enforce the restriction, allowing the connection to succeed without warning and risking a potential man-in-the-middle attack. | ||||
| CVE-2026-9546 | 2 Curl, Haxx | 2 Curl, Curl | 2026-09-15 | 7.5 High |
| A vulnerability in libcurl caused the HTTP `Referer:` header to persist even when explicitly cleared. While the documentation states that passing NULL to `CURLOPT_REFERER` suppresses the header, the option failed to clear the internal state. As a result, the previous referrer string was erroneously reused and sent in subsequent requests, potentially leaking sensitive information to unintended servers. | ||||
| CVE-2026-9545 | 2 Curl, Haxx | 2 Curl, Curl | 2026-09-15 | 7.5 High |
| In this scenario, libcurl first uses a proper HTTP/3 server for the initial transfers, and when it makes a second transfer to the same site it has been replaced by the attacker's impostor machine - without a valid certificate. When libcurl returns to the hostname the second time with a cached SSL session (`CURLOPT_SSL_SESSIONID_CACHE` is not disabled) and early data enabled (the `CURLSSLOPT_EARLYDATA` bit is set in `CURLOPT_SSL_OPTIONS`), libcurl might send off the second request's bytes on that new connection *before* enforcing the certificate verification failure. Potentially leaking sensitive information. | ||||
| CVE-2026-8932 | 2 Curl, Haxx | 2 Curl, Curl | 2026-09-15 | 7.5 High |
| libcurl would reuse a previously created connection even when some mTLS config related option had been changed that should have prohibited reuse. libcurl keeps previously used connections in a connection pool for subsequent transfers to reuse if one of them matches the setup. However, some TLS settings related to client certificates were left out from the configuration match checks, making them match too easily. In particular options related to the private key. | ||||
