Hardware logic with insecure de-synchronization in Intel(R) DSA and Intel(R) IAA for some Intel(R) 4th or 5th generation Xeon(R) processors may allow an authorized user to potentially enable escalation of privilege local access
| In Spring Cloud Function framework, versions 4.1.x prior to 4.1.2, 4.0.x prior to 4.0.8 an application is vulnerable to a DOS attack when attempting to compose functions with non-existing functions.
Specifically, an application is vulnerable when all of the following are true:
User is using Spring Cloud Function Web module
Affected Spring Products and Versions Spring Cloud Function Framework 4.1.0 to 4.1.2 4.0.0 to 4.0.8

The Libreswan Project was notified of an issue causing libreswan to restart under some IKEv2 retransmit scenarios when a connection is configured to use PreSharedKeys (authby=secret) and the connection cannot find a matching configured secret. When such a connection is automatically added on startup using the auto= keyword, it can cause repeated crashes leading to a Denial of Service.
** UNSUPPORTED WHEN ASSIGNED ** A vulnerability was found in AOL AIM Triton 1.0.4. It has been declared as problematic. This vulnerability affects unknown code of the component Invite Handler. The manipulation of the argument CSeq leads to denial of service. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. VDB-256318 is the identifier assigned to this vulnerability. NOTE: This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer.
An issue in OpenStack Storlets yoga-eom allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code via the gateway.py component.
The dormakaba Saflok system before the November 2023 software update allows an attacker to unlock arbitrary doors at a property via forged keycards, if the attacker has obtained one active or expired keycard for the specific property, aka the "Unsaflok" issue. This occurs, in part, because the key derivation function relies only on a UID. This affects, for example, Saflok MT, and the Confidant, Quantum, RT, and Saffire series.
A vulnerability was found in NUUO Camera up to 20240319 and classified as problematic. This issue affects some unknown processing of the file /deletefile.php. The manipulation of the argument filename leads to denial of service. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The identifier VDB-258197 was assigned to this vulnerability. NOTE: The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
Varnish Cache before 7.3.2 and 7.4.x before 7.4.3 (and before 6.0.13 LTS), and Varnish Enterprise 6 before 6.0.12r6, allows credits exhaustion for an HTTP/2 connection control flow window, aka a Broke Window Attack.
oidcc is the OpenID Connect client library for Erlang. Denial of Service (DoS) by Atom exhaustion is possible by calling `oidcc_provider_configuration_worker:get_provider_configuration/1` or `oidcc_provider_configuration_worker:get_jwks/1`. This issue has been patched in version(s)`3.1.2` & `3.2.0-beta.3`.
GNOME VTE before 0.76.3 allows an attacker to cause a denial of service (memory consumption) via a window resize escape sequence, a related issue to CVE-2000-0476.
** DISPUTED ** A vulnerability classified as problematic has been found in Tuya SDK up to 5.0.x. Affected is an unknown function of the component MQTT Packet Handler. The manipulation leads to denial of service. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The real existence of this vulnerability is still doubted at the moment. Upgrading to version 5.1.0 is able to address this issue. It is recommended to upgrade the affected component. The identifier of this vulnerability is VDB-260604. NOTE: The vendor explains that a malicious actor would have to crack TLS first or use a legitimate login to initiate the attack.
| SoftEtherVPN is a an open-source cross-platform multi-protocol VPN Program. When SoftEtherVPN is deployed with L2TP enabled on a device, it introduces the possibility of the host being used for amplification/reflection traffic generation because it will respond to every packet with two response packets that are larger than the request packet size. These sorts of techniques are used by external actors who generate spoofed source IPs to target a destination on the internet. This vulnerability has been patched in version 5.02.5185.

The etcd package distributed with the Red Hat OpenStack platform has an incomplete fix for CVE-2022-41723. This issue occurs because the etcd package in the Red Hat OpenStack platform is using http://golang.org/x/net/http2 instead of the one provided by Red Hat Enterprise Linux versions, meaning it should be updated at compile time instead.
The etcd package distributed with the Red Hat OpenStack platform has an incomplete fix for CVE-2021-44716. This issue occurs because the etcd package in the Red Hat OpenStack platform is using http://golang.org/x/net/http2 instead of the one provided by Red Hat Enterprise Linux versions, meaning it should be updated at compile time instead.
The etcd package distributed with the Red Hat OpenStack platform has an incomplete fix for CVE-2023-39325/CVE-2023-44487, known as Rapid Reset. This issue occurs because the etcd package in the Red Hat OpenStack platform is using http://golang.org/x/net/http2 instead of the one provided by Red Hat Enterprise Linux versions, meaning it should be updated at compile time instead.
A flaw was found in the QEMU disk image utility (qemu-img) 'info' command. A specially crafted image file containing a `json:{}` value describing block devices in QMP could cause the qemu-img process on the host to consume large amounts of memory or CPU time, leading to denial of service or read/write to an existing external file.
The Mirai botnet through 2024-08-19 mishandles simultaneous TCP connections to the CNC (command and control) server. Unauthenticated sessions remain open, causing resource consumption. For example, an attacker can send a recognized username (such as root), or can send arbitrary data.
Nanopb is a small code-size Protocol Buffers implementation. When the compile time option PB_ENABLE_MALLOC is enabled, the message contains at least one field with FT_POINTER field type, custom stream callback is used with unknown stream length. and the pb_decode_ex() function is used with flag PB_DECODE_DELIMITED, then the pb_decode_ex() function does not automatically call pb_release(), like is done for other failure cases. This could lead to memory leak and potential denial-of-service. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.4.9.1.
An issue in OneTrust SDK v.6.33.0 allows a local attacker to cause a denial of service via the Object.setPrototypeOf, __proto__, and Object.assign components. NOTE: this is disputed by the Supplier who does not agree it is a prototype pollution vulnerability.
An issue inTcpreplay v4.5.1 allows a local attacker to cause a denial of service via a crafted file to the tcpedit_dlt_getplugin function at src/tcpedit/plugins/dlt_utils.c.
