CVE-2026-77139 2026-08-25 N/A
The extension fails to validate a client-supplied template element key before using it to build file paths for saving and deleting Mask template files. An authenticated backend user with access to the Mask module can supply a key containing path traversal sequences to create or delete .html files outside the configured template directory.
CVE-2026-75593 1 Moby 1 Buildkit 2026-08-25 6.5 Medium
BuildKit is a toolkit for converting source code to build artifacts in an efficient, expressive and repeatable manner. Prior to 0.31.2, a custom client can produce such an upload request to the BuildKit daemon that files can escape from the BuildKit-controlled state directory. The client needs to have valid permissions to access BuildKit control API to issue builds, eg., bypass authentication, etc. This issue is fixed in version 0.31.2.
CVE-2026-47735 1 Basekick-labs 1 Arc 2026-08-25 N/A
Arc is an open, SQL-native time-series database for telemetry. Prior to version 26.06.1, Arc's user-SQL validator (`internal/api/query.go:ValidateSQLRequest`) blocked only `read_parquet(` and `arc_partition_agg(` via regex denylist. The broader DuckDB I/O function family — `read_csv_auto`, `read_csv`, `read_json`, `read_json_auto`, `read_text`, `read_blob`, `glob`, `parquet_metadata`, `parquet_schema`, `read_xlsx`, etc. — was not blocked. RBAC table-reference extraction inspected only `FROM`/`JOIN` clauses, so scalar table functions in the `SELECT` list slipped past both layers. This is fixed in 2026.06.1 via a structural sandbox at the DuckDB layer. After lockdown, DuckDB refuses to open any file outside the allowlist and refuses further `INSTALL`/`LOAD`. Already-loaded extensions remain callable. Some workarounds are available. Restrict API access to known-trusted networks via firewall rules or, as a temporary mitigation, add `read_csv*`/`read_json*`/`glob` etc. to `dangerousSQLPattern` in `internal/api/query.go`.
CVE-2026-78886 1 Liketrek 1 Trek 2026-08-25 3.7 Low
A security flaw has been discovered in liketrek TREK up to 3.0.22. This affects an unknown function of the file server/src/nest/journey/journey-public.controller.ts of the component Public Journey Photo Proxy. Performing a manipulation results in path traversal. The attack can be initiated remotely. The attack's complexity is rated as high. The exploitability is reported as difficult. Upgrading to version 3.1.0 mitigates this issue. It is advisable to upgrade the affected component.
CVE-2026-17424 1 Ibm 3 Aix, Powervm Vios, Vios 2026-08-25 4.8 Medium
IBM AIX 7.2, and 7.3 and IBM PowerVM VIOS 4.1 could allow a remote attacker to bypass security restrictions due to improper limitation of a pathname to a restricted directory.
CVE-2026-77679 1 Gnome 1 Epiphany 2026-08-25 5.5 Medium
A path traversal (ZIP slip) vulnerability exists in Epiphany when installing WebExtension packages from .xpi files. In src/webextension/ephy-web-extension-manager.c, the decompress_xpi_thread() function extracts XPI archives (ZIP format) to disk using libarchive. For each archive entry, the output path is built by concatenating the intended extraction directory with the raw pathname from the archive: full_path = g_build_filename(path, archive_entry_pathname(entry), NULL); archive_entry_set_pathname(entry, full_path); ret = archive_write_header(ext, entry); The libarchive extraction options did not include ARCHIVE_EXTRACT_SECURE_NODOTDOT or ARCHIVE_EXTRACT_SECURE_SYMLINKS. As a result, archive entries containing parent-directory traversal sequences (for example "../../../../../.bashrc") are written outside the intended web_extensions extraction directory. A malicious .xpi file can therefore overwrite arbitrary files writable by the user running Epiphany, such as ~/.bashrc, ~/.config/autostart/*.desktop, or ~/.ssh/authorized_keys. This can lead to persistent code execution on subsequent shell startup or GNOME login. Exploitation requires the victim to install or open a crafted .xpi file. The reporter notes that opening an XPI can trigger extraction even when the WebExtensions feature is not enabled by default. Affected versions: Epiphany >= 47.rc. Fixed upstream in epiphany 50.6 and 49.9 via merge request !2143, which adds ARCHIVE_EXTRACT_SECURE_NODOTDOT and ARCHIVE_EXTRACT_SECURE_SYMLINKS to archive_write_disk_set_options(). Upstream report: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/epiphany/-/issues/2922
CVE-2026-34070 2 Langchain, Langchain-ai 2 Langchain Core, Langchain 2026-08-25 7.5 High
LangChain is a framework for building agents and LLM-powered applications. Prior to version 1.2.22, multiple functions in langchain_core.prompts.loading read files from paths embedded in deserialized config dicts without validating against directory traversal or absolute path injection. When an application passes user-influenced prompt configurations to load_prompt() or load_prompt_from_config(), an attacker can read arbitrary files on the host filesystem, constrained only by file-extension checks (.txt for templates, .json/.yaml for examples). This issue has been patched in version 1.2.22.
CVE-2026-17473 1 Ibm 1 Documentation Offline 2026-08-25 7.5 High
IBM Documentation Offline 1.0.0 through 1.4.1 could allow a remote attacker to read arbitrary files due to improper limitation of a pathname to a restricted directory.
CVE-2026-77914 1 Rconfig 1 Rconfig 2026-08-25 6.5 Medium
rConfig Core 8.0.0 before 8.2.13 contains a path traversal vulnerability that allows authenticated users to read arbitrary files by supplying crafted filenames containing directory traversal sequences to the export download endpoint. Attackers can manipulate the filename parameter with traversal sequences to escape the intended export directory and access files outside it that are readable by the application process.
CVE-2026-52875 1 Truelockmc 1 Streambert 2026-08-25 N/A
Streambert is a cross-platform Electron Desktop App to stream and download video content. Prior to 2.6.0, the perform-scheduled-backup IPC handler in src/ipc/storage.js takes settings.path from a renderer-supplied object and uses the resulting directory for fs.mkdirSync, fs.writeFileSync, fs.readdirSync, and fs.unlinkSync operations without checking that it is inside an authorized backup location. A compromised renderer can choose an absolute path or a relative traversal path to create directories and write a streambert-backup-[timestamp].json file containing renderer-controlled data. The pruning loop can also delete files in that directory whose names begin with streambert-backup- and end with .json. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.6.0.
CVE-2026-50186 1 Rargames 1 4gaboards 2026-08-25 8.8 High
4gaBoards is a boards system for realtime project management. Prior to 3.3.8, 4gaBoards allows an authenticated project manager to supply traversal sequences in the filename parameter of GET /exports/:id/:filename. In server/api/controllers/boards/download.js, the decoded inputs.filename value is passed to path.join() beneath private/exports/<user_id>/ without containment validation. A crafted value such as ../ can select an arbitrary file readable by the server process, and the file is returned to the attacker. The fileStream close handler then passes the same path to fs.unlink(), deleting the selected file and potentially causing data loss or denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 3.3.8.
CVE-2026-53452 1 Efstratios Goudelis 1 Ground Station 2026-08-25 5.3 Medium
Ground Station is a browser-based suite for satellite tracking, SDR reception, hardware control, and telemetry decoding. Prior to version 0.4.13, the unauthenticated configure-sdr Socket.IO command accepts a recordingPath for the sigmf-playback SDR and backend/handlers/entities/sdr.py stores it without validation before backend/hardware/sigmfprobe.py opens the path without enforcing containment. An absolute path or parent-directory escape ending in .sigmf-meta is parsed as JSON and returned in reply["data"]["metadata"] by the get-sdr-parameters flow. Exploitation requires the metadata file to be readable JSON and to have a sibling .sigmf-data file, but it can disclose contents outside backend/data/recordings without authentication. This issue is fixed in version 0.4.13.
CVE-2026-24208 2 Linux, Nvidia 2 Linux Kernel, Triton Inference Server 2026-08-24 5.3 Medium
NVIDIA Triton Inference Server contains a vulnerability where an attacker could cause a path traversal issue. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to denial of service.
CVE-2026-52886 1 Notepad-plus-plus 1 Notepad++ 2026-08-24 N/A
Notepad++ is a free and open-source source code editor. Prior to 8.9.7, Notepad++ validates the backupFilePath attribute from session.xml with std::wstring::starts_with against the expected backup directory without path normalization, allowing parent-directory sequences during snapshot-mode restoration to read an arbitrary user-readable file outside the backup directory into an editor tab. This issue is fixed in version 8.9.7.
CVE-2026-57233 1 Notepad-plus-plus 1 Notepad++ 2026-08-24 8.1 High
Notepad++ is a free and open-source source code editor. Prior to 8.9.7, the WinGup decompress function joins untrusted ZIP entry names to unzipDestTo without canonical containment validation, allowing an entry such as ../mimeTools/mimeTools.dll to overwrite a DLL in a sibling plugin directory and execute attacker-controlled code when Notepad++ next loads that plugin. This issue is fixed in version 8.9.7.
CVE-2026-28171 2 Vanquish, Wordpress 2 Woocommerce File Approval, Wordpress 2026-08-24 8.6 High
Unauthenticated Arbitrary File Deletion in WooCommerce File Approval <= 10.7 versions.
CVE-2026-76842 1 Mercadopago 1 Mercadopago 2026-08-24 8.2 High
The Mercado Pago Node.js SDK interpolates caller-supplied identifiers into API request paths without percent-encoding them, so characters that are structural in a URL survive into the outgoing request. The payment (get, capture, cancel), paymentRefund (create, total, list, get), advancedPayment (get, capture, cancel, update, updateReleaseDate) and disbursementRefund (create, createAll, listAll) clients build their path as a template literal, for example RestClient.fetch(`/v1/payments/${id}`, ...) in src/clients/payment/get/index.ts. A dot-dot or slash sequence in the identifier is normalised by the WHATWG URL parser and redirects the request to a different endpoint, and a question mark appends attacker-chosen query parameters, in both cases carrying the merchant's own access token. An application that forwards an identifier influenced by an untrusted party into one of these methods without an ownership check therefore allows that party to reach other resources within the merchant's token scope. The repository already contains the intended helper, encodePathParam in src/utils/path.ts, which pull request 451 applied to roughly 29 other clients while leaving these unchanged.
CVE-2026-52610 1 Reportico 1 Reportico 2026-08-24 9.1 Critical
An arbitrary file write/directory traversal vulnerability in reportico-web <= 8.1.0 allows remote attackers to create or overwrite files anywhere on the filesystem subject to the permissions of the web user by specifying a filename in the "saveTemplate" parameter in conjuction with "execute_mode=PREPARE" parameter in the "run.php" endpoint.
CVE-2026-52607 1 Reportico 1 Reportico 2026-08-24 6.5 Medium
A directory traversal vulnerability in reportico-web <= 8.1.0 allows remote attackers to expose or execute arbitrary php files on the web server by specifying the filename in the target_format parameter in conjunction with the execute_mode=EXECUTE parameter of the run.php endpoint.
CVE-2026-18027 2 Webtoffee, Wordpress 2 Woocommerce Pdf Invoices, Packing Slips, Delivery Notes And Shipping Labels, Wordpress 2026-08-24 6.5 Medium
The WebToffee WooCommerce PDF Invoices, Packing Slips, Delivery Notes & Shipping Labels plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Directory Traversal in all versions up to, and including, 4.9.8 via the get_image_src_in_base64 function. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to read the contents of arbitrary files on the server, which can contain sensitive information. The base64-encoded file contents are embedded into the cached invoice HTML and served directly to the attacker via the plugin's own Print/Download invoice endpoints, which require only a valid nonce and access key.
