| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netfilter: nf_conncount: update last_gc only when GC has been performed
Currently last_gc is being updated everytime a new connection is
tracked, that means that it is updated even if a GC wasn't performed.
With a sufficiently high packet rate, it is possible to always bypass
the GC, causing the list to grow infinitely.
Update the last_gc value only when a GC has been actually performed. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: wwan: t7xx: fix potential skb->frags overflow in RX path
When receiving data in the DPMAIF RX path,
the t7xx_dpmaif_set_frag_to_skb() function adds
page fragments to an skb without checking if the number of
fragments has exceeded MAX_SKB_FRAGS. This could lead to a buffer overflow
in skb_shinfo(skb)->frags[] array, corrupting adjacent memory and
potentially causing kernel crashes or other undefined behavior.
This issue was identified through static code analysis by comparing with a
similar vulnerability fixed in the mt76 driver commit b102f0c522cf ("mt76:
fix array overflow on receiving too many fragments for a packet").
The vulnerability could be triggered if the modem firmware sends packets
with excessive fragments. While under normal protocol conditions (MTU 3080
bytes, BAT buffer 3584 bytes),
a single packet should not require additional
fragments, the kernel should not blindly trust firmware behavior.
Malicious, buggy, or compromised firmware could potentially craft packets
with more fragments than the kernel expects.
Fix this by adding a bounds check before calling skb_add_rx_frag() to
ensure nr_frags does not exceed MAX_SKB_FRAGS.
The check must be performed before unmapping to avoid a page leak
and double DMA unmap during device teardown. |

Attackers can send large or malicious webhook requests to exhaust server resources without authentication by bypassing signature validation. |
| JWCrypto implements JWK, JWS, and JWE specifications using python-cryptography. Prior to 1.5.7, an unauthenticated attacker can exhaust server memory by sending crafted JWE tokens with ZIP compression. The existing patch for CVE-2024-28102 limits input token size to 250KB but does not validate the decompressed output size. An unauthenticated attacker can cause memory exhaustion on memory-constrained systems. A token under the 250KB input limit can decompress to approximately 100MB. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.5.7. |
| DeepDiff is a project focused on Deep Difference and search of any Python data. From version 5.0.0 to before version 8.6.2, the pickle unpickler _RestrictedUnpickler validates which classes can be loaded but does not limit their constructor arguments. A few of the types in SAFE_TO_IMPORT have constructors that allocate memory proportional to their input (builtins.bytes, builtins.list, builtins.range). A 40-byte pickle payload can force 10+ GB of memory, which crashes applications that load delta objects or call pickle_load with untrusted data. This issue has been patched in version 8.6.2. |

Prior to 2.6.5, a critical Denial of Service (DoS) vulnerability was in the recipe import functionality. This vulnerability allows an authenticated user to crash the server or make a significantly degrade its performance by uploading a large size ZIP file (ZIP Bomb). This vulnerability is fixed in 2.6.5. |

| Open Neural Network Exchange (ONNX) is an open standard for machine learning interoperability. Prior to version 1.21.0, the ExternalDataInfo class in ONNX was using Python’s setattr() function to load metadata (like file paths or data lengths) directly from an ONNX model file. It didn’t check if the "keys" in the file were valid. Due to this, an attacker could craft a malicious model that overwrites internal object properties. This issue has been patched in version 1.21.0. |
| The `SimpleDirectoryReader` component in `llama_index.core` version 0.12.23 suffers from uncontrolled memory consumption due to a resource management flaw. The vulnerability arises because the user-specified file limit (`num_files_limit`) is applied after all files in a directory are loaded into memory. This can lead to memory exhaustion and degraded performance, particularly in environments with limited resources. The issue is resolved in version 0.12.41. |

If the forked content includes a Mermaid graph with a large number of nodes, it can lead to a JavaScript heap out of memory error upon service restart, causing a denial of service. | The Authorino service in the Red Hat Connectivity Link is the authorization service for zero trust API security. Authorino allows the users with developer persona to add callbacks to be executed to HTTP endpoints once the authorization process is completed. It was found that an attacker with developer persona access can add a large number of those callbacks to be executed by Authorino and as the authentication policy is enforced by a single instance of the service, this leada to a Denial of Service in Authorino while processing the post-authorization callbacks. |
