CVSS v3.1 |
| shell-quote's `quote()` function did not validate object-token inputs against the operator model used by `parse()`. The `.op` field was backslash-escaped character by character using `/(.)/g`, which in JavaScript does not match line terminators (\n, \r, U+2028, U+2029). A line terminator in `.op` therefore passed through unescaped into the output; POSIX shells treat a literal newline as a command separator, so any content after it would execute as a second command. The vulnerable code path is reachable in two ways: (1) direct construction of `{ op: '...\n...' }` from external input, and (2) via `parse(cmd, envFn)` when `envFn` returns object tokens whose `.op` is attacker-influenced. Both are documented API surface. Fixed by replacing the per-character escape with strict shape validation: `.op` must match the parser's control-operator allowlist; `{ op: 'glob', pattern }` validates `pattern` and forbids line terminators; `{ comment }` validates `comment` and forbids line terminators; any other object shape throws `TypeError`. |
| Authenticated command injection vulnerabilities exist in the command line interface of AOS-CX. Successful exploitation of these vulnerabilities results in the ability to execute arbitrary commands as a privileged user on the underlying operating system. |
| Command injection vulnerabilities in the API endpoint of AOS-CX could allow an authenticated remote attacker with administrative privileges to inject arbitrary commands. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary commands as a privileged user on the underlying operating system. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
USB: serial: io_ti: fix heap overflow in get_manuf_info()
get_manuf_info() reads le16_to_cpu(rom_desc->Size) bytes from the
device I2C EEPROM into a buffer allocated with kmalloc_obj(), which
is sizeof(struct edge_ti_manuf_descriptor) = 10 bytes.
The Size field comes from the device and is only validated (in
check_i2c_image()) to make sure the descriptor fits within
TI_MAX_I2C_SIZE (16384 bytes), not against the destination buffer size.
A malicious USB device can therefore set Size to any value up to 16377,
causing a heap overflow of up to 16367 bytes when plugged into a host
running this driver.
valid_csum() is called after read_rom() and also iterates
buffer[0..Size-1], compounding the out-of-bounds access.
Fix by rejecting descriptors with unexpected length before calling
read_rom().

| An issue was discovered in OpenStack ironic-python-agent 1.0.0 through 11.5.0. Ironic Python Agent (IPA) sometimes executes grub-install from within a chroot of the deployed partition image, leading to code execution in the case of a malicious image. |
| Heap-based Buffer Overflow vulnerability in mod_proxy_ajp of Apache HTTP Server.
If mod_proxy_ajp connects to a malicious AJP server this AJP server can send a malicious AJP message back to mod_proxy_ajp and cause it to write 4 attacker controlled bytes after the end of a heap based buffer.
This issue affects Apache HTTP Server: through 2.4.66.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.4.67, which fixes the issue. |
| openssl_encrypt before 1.4.9 fails to validate the total field from QR JSON payloads before materializing ranges. Attackers can supply crafted QR images with extremely large total values to trigger unbounded memory allocation and cause denial of service through out-of-memory conditions. |
| A vulnerability in the underlying operating system of HPE Networking Fabric Composer could allow an unauthenticated adjacent attacker to run arbitrary commands on the underlying host if certain preconditions outside of the attacker's control are met. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the underlying operating system. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ipvs: reload ip header after head reallocation
__ip_vs_get_out_rt() calls skb_ensure_writable() which may
reallocate skb->head. |
| Coolify before 4.2.0 fails to properly escape environment variable key names in Docker commands executed over SSH on managed servers. Authenticated attackers can inject shell metacharacters into environment variable keys to execute arbitrary commands on the server host outside containers. |
| Westermo WeOS 5.x starting from 5.24 allows OS command injection via a media definition. |
| Buffer overflow in GPU in Google Chrome on on Windows prior to 152.0.7977.75 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to execute arbitrary code outside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) |
| ccoap 77f55c4b466e99327c24ace8a2913d3ba7e2ccd5 contains a vulnerability in the option parsing logic that causes a segmentation fault when processing malformed COAP messages with insufficient option data. |
| Internally found bugs present in Thunderbird 154 and Thunderbird ESR 153.1. Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption or another security-relevant defect and we presume that with enough effort some of these could have been exploited. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 155, Firefox ESR 153.2, Thunderbird 155, and Thunderbird 153.2. |
| An issue was discovered in luci-app-https-dns-proxy on OpenWrt PR #15 (< 2026-01-17). The setInitAction function in /usr/libexec/rpcd/luci.https-dns-proxy allows authenticated users to execute arbitrary shell commands via shell metacharacters in the name parameter |
| Internally found bugs present in Thunderbird 154. Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption or another security-relevant defect and we presume that with enough effort some of these could have been exploited. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 155 and Thunderbird 155. |
| An OS command injection vulnerability in MetaGPT 0.8.1 allows an attacker to execute arbitrary commands via the path argument of RepoParser.rebuild_class_views() in metagpt/repo_parser.py. |
| Denial-of-service in the PDF Viewer component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 155 and Thunderbird 155. |
| Composer is a dependency Manager for the PHP language. From 1.0 until 2.2.30 and 2.10.3, a malicious dependency package from a custom Composer repository or an untrusted composer.lock file could set source.type to perforce and source.url to an rsh: or jsh: P4PORT value. When the Perforce p4 client was installed and Composer installed the package from source through composer install or composer update, including --prefer-source, Composer\Util\Perforce passed the address to p4 without validation, causing p4 to run a local command with the privileges of the user or CI account. Packagist.org does not permit Perforce source metadata. This issue is fixed in versions 2.2.30 and 2.10.3. |
| Dell PowerStore contains an OS Command Injection vulnerability. An authenticated user with limited privileges could potentially exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary commands with root privileges. |
