CVE-2026-98436 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-18 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: accel/amdxdna: Disable device buffer exporting Device buffers are never intended to be exported. Disable exporting support explicitly.
CVE-2026-98437 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-18 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: qcom: iris: fix runtime PM reference leaks Use pm_runtime_resume_and_get() in iris_enable_power_domains() to avoid leaking a runtime PM usage count on failure. Also ensure pm_runtime_put_sync() is always called in iris_disable_power_domains(), even when iris_opp_set_rate() fails, so runtime PM references remain balanced.
CVE-2026-98441 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-18 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: act_ct: avoid modifying shared unconfirmed ct entry In a case where skb with an unconfirmed ct entry gets cloned, we may end up processing both again but with different sets of extensions. The series of events: 1. The first clone wants to commit and runs the helpers wiring up the extension pointer into the expectation list. 2. Then it looses the confirmation keeping the entry unconfirmed. 3. Second clone now wants to commit labels or run NAT and adds the new extension for that breaking the pointer in the expectation list causing UAF on the destruction path later. While this is possible to trigger, there should be no practical network pipeline where we need to process both clones without modifications in the same zone. So, let's just reset the entry in case for some reason we got an skb with a shared one. This doesn't affect any known use cases, but avoids any potential problems with sharing and modification of the unconfirmed ct entry. Unlike openvswitch module, act_ct allows for NAT without commit. Changing that would be a uAPI break. So, act_ct needs to reset on NAT regardless of the commit flag to avoid reallocation of the extension space. This, however, doesn't really change the picture for sensible networking cases as there should be no need to run the same packet twice (before and after the clone) through conntrack without packet header or zone changes and without commit. The fixes tag points to the introduction of helpers, since that's the main UAF trigger for the sharing.
CVE-2026-98446 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-18 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfs: don't let hidden_space go negative in xfs_metafile_resv_init LOLLM points out that if the amount of fdblocks that we can reserve for a metadata btree file goes below the space already used by that file, then the hidden_space subtraction can underflow, causing xfs_dec_fdblocks to subtract a huge amount of space. We never want the target to be less than the used sapce, so fix the logic that adjusts dblocks_avail downwards. Also fix an error in the adjacent comment.
CVE-2026-98447 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-18 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfs: fix wild memcpy access when formatting ondisk rtrefcount btree roots LOLLM noticed that the inode btree root formatting methods copy too many bytes -- there's only one set of keys in node blocks, not two. This causes memory corruption of whatever's beyond the buffers.
CVE-2026-92390 1 Curl 1 Curl 2026-10-18 6.5 Medium
A flaw was found in curl. When the command-line tool is executed with the remote header name option to prevent overwriting existing files, a malicious server can bypass this protection by returning an intermediate HTTP 103 (Early Hints) response or through specific header ordering. This flaw allows an attacker controlling a remote server to overwrite existing local files on the client system.
CVE-2026-85823 1 Microsoft 11 Windows 11 24h2, Windows 11 24h2, Windows 11 25h2 and 8 more 2026-10-18 7 High
Use after free in Windows Composite Image File System allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally.
CVE-2026-92817 1 Inductiveautomation 1 Ignition 2026-10-18 8.8 High
The Ignition Perspective module does not properly validate session privileges when determining Designer-level access. An authenticated user with access to a Vision project could provide their valid Vision session identifier and gain Designer-level privileges. An attacker could exploit these elevated privileges to execute arbitrary code in the context of the Ignition Gateway process.
CVE-2026-93479 1 F5 2 Nginx Open Source, Nginx Plus 2026-10-18 8.1 High
A vulnerability exists in NGINX Plus and NGINX Open Source when a map directive uses regex matching and the root directive or access log format references the map's regex capture variables before referencing the map output variable. Alternatively, the same result could be achieved by using a non-cacheable variable in a string expression under certain conditions. An unauthenticated attacker along with conditions beyond their control can exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted HTTP requests. This may cause a heap buffer overflow in the NGINX worker process leading to a restart. Additionally, attackers can execute code on systems with Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR) disabled or when the attacker can bypass ASLR. Impact:  This vulnerability may allow remote attackers to cause a denial-of-service (DoS) on the NGINX system or to possibly trigger a code execution. There is no control plane exposure; this is a data plane issue only. Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated.
CVE-2026-93635 1 Zimbra 1 Zimbra Collaboration Suite 2026-10-18 5.3 Medium
LDAP filter injection in Zimbra Collaboration Suite 10.1.0 through 10.1.21 allows unauthenticated attackers to alter external LDAP search filters. On domains using search-filter authentication and lazy provisioning, this creates a password oracle for external directory users. Authenticated S/MIME lookups can also return certificates and identity data for unintended directory entries.
CVE-2026-93637 1 Zimbra 1 Zimbra Collaboration Suite 2026-10-18 3.7 Low
An authentication rate-limit bypass in Zimbra Collaboration Suite 10.1.0 through 10.1.21 allows unauthenticated attackers to make repeated password guesses through GraphQL without incrementing Zimbra’s source-IP failure counter. GraphQL aliases allow multiple authentication attempts in one HTTP request.
CVE-2026-98868 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-18 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dm-pcache: reject a kset that overruns its segment cache_replay(), the writeback worker and the GC worker read a kset of get_kset_onmedia_size() bytes and advance the position by it. A forged key_num makes that size exceed the segment's remaining space, so the advance walks past the segment and trips the cache_pos_advance() BUG_ON. Reject a kset whose on-media size exceeds cache_seg_remain() before use.
CVE-2026-98867 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-18 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dm-pcache: bound the logical key offset from persistent memory cache_key_decode() takes a key's logical off from the cache device and later indexes req_key_tree->subtrees[] by it in get_subtree(). An off past the device forms a subtree pointer outside the array, which rb_insert() writes through during replay. Reject a key of zero length, or whose off+len (computed in 64 bits) exceeds the device size, before it is used.
CVE-2026-98866 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-18 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sched/cache: Introduce task_struct->sched_cache_grp to fix UAF Add a sched_cache_grp pointer to task_struct so that scheduler code can access the cache group directly via the task, without going through mm->sched_cache_grp. This decouples the scheduler's hot-path accesses from the mm_struct. Each task holds its own refcount on the sched_cache_group, separate from the reference held by its mm_struct. The reference is acquired in copy_mm() (fork) and exec_mmap() (exec), and released in exit_mm(). This fixes the use-after-free when account_mm_sched() reaches the group through a task whose mm is being switched, as reported by Hyunwoo: https://lore.kernel.org/lkml/apPb-Dr4nPYuHQOK@v4bel/ Convert all scheduler code in fair.c and exit.c to use p->sched_cache_grp instead of p->mm->sched_cache_grp. Keep the fork/exec/exit reference management out of the generic mm paths: add sched_cache_fork(), sched_cache_fork_cleanup(), sched_cache_exec_mmap() and sched_cache_exit_mm() in kernel/sched/cache_sched.c (with empty stubs for !CONFIG_SCHED_CACHE), so fs/exec.c, kernel/fork.c and kernel/exit.c each call one helper instead of open-coding the refcounting under #ifdef. Also add sched_cache_group_get() and task_cache_group_get().
CVE-2026-98865 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-18 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sched_ext: Don't run ops.dequeue() with a DSQ lock held ops.dequeue() is invoked with the source user DSQ's lock still held on the consume and move paths (scx_consume_dispatch_q(), move_task_between_dsqs()). A BPF scheduler which locks the source user DSQ from ops.dequeue() - e.g. by iterating it with bpf_iter_scx_dsq - self-deadlocks. ops.dequeue() can only call the "any" kfuncs and none of them can lock a builtin DSQ, so the global and bypass paths can't deadlock; however, all DSQ locks share one lockdep class, so iterating any user DSQ from ops.dequeue() on those paths trips the recursion check. Move the invocation after the DSQ unlock on all three paths. SCX_TASK_IN_CUSTODY is cleared under the lock serializing the transfer so that the callback is invoked exactly once.
CVE-2026-98864 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-18 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sched_ext: Wait for SCX_OPSS_DISPATCHING before reenqueueing a task ebf1ccff79c4 ("sched_ext: Fix ops.dequeue() semantics") moved the final ops_state store in scx_dispatch_enqueue() after the DSQ unlock so that the custody update and ops.dequeue() precede it. A task can thus be found on a DSQ while still SCX_OPSS_DISPATCHING. The dequeue and core-sched pick paths wait for the state to clear in ops_dequeue() but the reenqueue paths don't. A reenqueue in that window runs ops.enqueue() and sets SCX_OPSS_QUEUED before the dispatch has completed. The dispatcher's final store then overwrites it with SCX_OPSS_NONE and finish_dispatch() drops every later dispatch of the task. Wait for SCX_OPSS_DISPATCHING to clear before dequeueing a task for reenqueue, the same way ops_dequeue() does.
CVE-2026-98863 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-18 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: x86: Re-pend GET_NESTED_STATE_PAGES if getting said pages fails Re-pend GET_NESTED_STATE_PAGES before exiting to userspace if getting the nested pages fails in the KVM_RUN path. If userspace re-runs the vCPU, and vmcs02 holds valid PFNs from the *previous* run of L2, then KVM could re-enter L2 with stale, unpinned PFNs mapped into e.g. the vAPIC page. Note, both SVM and VMX (as of commit 11722439fb20 ("KVM: nVMX: Ensure KVM_REQ_GET_NESTED_STATE_PAGES is cleared on VM-Exit") ensure the request is cleared on VM-Exit (including the "forced" case), i.e. there is no risk of double-mapping due to emulated VMLAUNCH/VMRESUME/VMRUN *and* the request trying to map the nested pages.
CVE-2026-98862 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-18 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: audit: fix exe mark UAF in kill_rules() kill_rules() removes mixed AUDIT_DIR and AUDIT_EXE rules when an audit tree is pruned. It drops entry->rule.exe before removing the rule from the RCU-visible filter lists. After a rule has been installed with AUDIT_ADD_RULE, which requires CAP_AUDIT_CONTROL, removing the watched directory can race with another task that is still evaluating the rule. In that case, fsnotify can free the executable mark before the reader reaches audit_mark_compare(), causing a use-after-free. KASAN reports: BUG: KASAN: slab-use-after-free in audit_mark_compare+0x8d/0xa0 Unlink the published rules from the RCU-visible lists and retain them on tree->rules for cleanup. If any rule has an executable mark, wait for a single RCU grace period before removing the marks and scheduling the entries for freeing. Otherwise, call_rcu() already provides the required deferred freeing without a synchronous wait.
CVE-2026-98861 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-18 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fprobe: Use guard(rcu_sched_notrace) and check rcu_is_watching() unregister_fprobe() and unregister_fprobe_async() (used by BPF kprobe-multi) rely on standard RCU grace periods (synchronize_rcu() and call_rcu()) to wait until in-flight fprobe handlers complete before freeing the fprobe. However, if an fprobe handler executes while RCU is not watching (such as in the idle loop or nohz_full extended quiescent states), standard RCU does not track preemption-disabled sections. Consequently, synchronize_rcu() does not wait for those executions, which can lead to a use-after-free if the fprobe is freed immediately after unregistration. Ensure handlers exit early when !rcu_is_watching(). Furthermore, fprobe_fgraph_entry() and fprobe_ftrace_entry() previously used guard(rcu)() and rcu_read_lock(), which invoke lockdep on every hit under CONFIG_PROVE_LOCKING. This adds overhead and can cause lockdep recursion if probed functions interact with lockdep. Since rhltable_lookup() and rhl_for_each_entry_rcu() use rcu_dereference_all_check() (which checks rcu_read_lock_any_held()), holding preemption disabled via rcu_read_lock_sched_notrace() is fully valid and sufficient so long as rcu_is_watching() is true. Define and use guard(rcu_sched_notrace)() across fprobe_ftrace_entry(), fprobe_fgraph_entry(), and fprobe_return(). This eliminates fast-path rcu_read_lock() and lockdep overhead while guaranteeing safe grace period synchronization.
CVE-2026-98860 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-18 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: bpf: cast size to ssize_t when checking hid_bpf_hw_request As reported by Sashiko: If a transport driver encounters a hardware error and returns a negative error code such as -EPIPE, ret is implicitly promoted to size_t when compared against size. This causes the negative error code to evaluate as a large positive number, making the (ret > size) condition true. This silently converts the hardware error into a success return value and copies the unmodified buffer back, which could leave BPF programs operating on uninitialized or stale data. Fix this by casting size into ssize_t to return the actual negative error code.
